Very friendly staff and owner who cares about every single detail of your trip not only your stay in the hotel. Spacious beautiful bathroom. Spacious terrace which is alone is bigger than most hotel rooms in Europe. I can spend days writing about how great this Hotel is. You really don't want to miss staying here. We drove from veneza to Rome and because of an acident ir took as 11 hours instead of 5! But we called the property and Giovanni was very kind. He suggested us to order a dinner because the restaurant closes at 23:00 and we would arrive at midnight. So we ordered. We arrived 00:00 and he was there with a big smile, and tok all the 6 very havy suitcases to our wonderful room! Then he showed the terrace and asked if we would prefer to have the table setted ar the terrace or in our room( already settled). We asked if ir wouldnt be too much work at the terrace and without no doubt he answered ot no problem. So the service was perfect! Best place in Italy we were well treated and it was 1:30 in the morning!! So dor sure we will recomend and come back again. Room was wonderfull, the view perfect, the food and wine list gourgeous and we had a very short but wonderfull time to say goodbye to Rome in our last day! Thanks Giovanni

Nice place, clean, modern and well equipped rooms. Excellent, friendly staff. We stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding in the nearby Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria hotel. Monastreio dei Santi is within walking distance to the bigger hotel and a nicer place, in my opinion. We stayed with a group of friends, and we have three of the hotel's four rooms. All of the rooms' terraces could be connected through outside stairs. This way, we almost had a full villa to ourselves - very nice!

The location of the hotel is nice for great views but a bit challenging to get in and out from by other means than a taxi, as there are no pedestrian walkways towards the city centre. There is a foot path down the hill but it was flooded quite badly and could not be crossed with normal running shoes. Nothing that the hotel can do but good to know if you prefer walking.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are huge, and the property is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it a perfect escape to sleep off a long day of museum hopping or walking around ancient Roman sites. The breakfast was fabulous and delivered to my room every morning. But what made my stay so unforgettable was the kind and welcoming staff that went above and beyond to make my stay in Rome incredible. They gave me quality recommendations for restaurants, gelato, coffee, and…you name it! They even sent me recommendations for my next destination (Florence) after I left! And all their recommendations were excellent. You can’t always trust a concierge, even at high-end hotels. But the management was texting with me throughout the day to recommend restaurants depending on my appetite and location! Even when I had a bad day, management pulled me aside, asked if I was okay, and told me to ask them for help if I was ever caught in a bind. As a solo female traveller, I really appreciated their genuine concern and kindness. I could not have asked for a better stay in Rome. Frankly, Monastero dei Santi made me fall in love with Rome!

A little far away from the city center. But given the tranquility, excellent price, and beautiful rooftop views, the short taxi rides were a negligible drawback.

Absolutely everything. The view was incredible and the best in Rome - literally the highest point in the city. We didn’t feel like we were just staying at a five star hotel. We were treated as a king and queen and the whole team were there for us and went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience. The room was beautiful, classy and luxurious with plenty of space and great view from the balcony. The breakfast was impeccable and everything you could ask for and the wine choice was perfect. The hidden gem of the rooftop was just the cherry on the top! Dario set up an incredible display for us in the evening which was so intimate! Finally, the entire team - Dario, Alessio, Joao and rest of the team. You were the reason why we will never forget our stay with you and we will definitely be returning and hope to get married in Rome soon! Grazie and arrivederci ❤️

We were recently in Rome for a week to visit my son's family and new grandson. My son found us the most exquisite hotel that was unique in its history, in that it was part of an old Monastery. Perched on a hillside with breathtaking views of Rome, we were treated to elegant and delightful interiors and very comfortable and spacious accommodations. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the shower had full body high pressure heads. But the most remarkable exception to anywhere we have ever stayed, was the very professional and caring staff. Dario has a standard of excellence for himself and the staff that goes far beyond anything I have ever experienced. They begin communication on Whatsapp days before your arrival, asking if you need transportation and inquiring if you have any needs or requests. So regardless of which language you speak, they can google translate any requests. They have an excellent chef and provide room service with any of the choices from their extensive menu. They also serve a buffet breakfast on one of their many outdoor verandas, when the weather provides. I highly recommend the eggplant parmesan and the plate of meatballs. We are older, and don't do well with eating the late night Italian, so ordering dinner at 6 was perfect for us, but they also serve until very late. So when in Rome, don't miss this gem. There is also a beautiful hilltop park with even better views right across the street, so room to get exercise and a small town center a block away for shops and dining. Rome is a fascinating city to visit, but with all that energy of sightseeing, it is wonderful to have a respite to relax and feel totally taken care of. Monastero dei Santi is the perfect place for that. Rebecca and Joe

Dario and Giovanni were the perfect example of hospitality, both very welcoming, informative and helpful, especially with tips on what to do, where to go and what to eat. The property is just a 10 minute drive from the city centre and has a spectacular view from the rooftops. The room was spacious and pleasant to stay in. The continental breakfast was a delicious feast which we were lucky to enjoy on the private terrace of our room Stella with a phenomenal view over the city. All in all a perfect hide away to have some quiet and private time in the lovely city of Roma!

My room was spacious, clean, and tastefully appointed, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the full city of Rome! But what really stood out to me was the exceptional service that I received from the hotel's manager, Mr. Dario. He was incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was everything I had hoped for and more. He was always available to answer my questions, make recommendations, and provide assistance whenever I needed it. Honestly all of the staff too. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in Roma, Italy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the facilities were top-notch, and the service I received from Dario was truly exceptional. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

we were contacted before arrival and an airport shuttle was organized. we didn't have to worry about anything. the staff tried to read the guests' wishes from their eyes. we were advised on visits and tickets were obtained if there was a concern. we were even able to purchase room decorations that my wife particularly liked. The 24-hour service works wonderfully and all requests for food and drinks are fulfilled. the view over rome is unique. We will definitely be back and can recommend the hotel to everyone. you have the feeling of staying with very good friends. Monastero dei santi is a boutique style hotel in the hilltops of Rome. It feels like a villa and has very few rooms so also feels very private. Manager Dario was in contact from the outset by WhatsApp and was extremely responsive. All requests were considered and the staff went to great lengths to feel my family feel welcome, especially with providing a birthday celebration with Prosecco and food where they went above and beyond what was requested, including a beautiful gift of flowers. They were very quick to respond to room requests and very very kind to arrange taxis. It had very tranquil surroundings and we felt safe. It is a little far out of the centre, requiring taxi but the view from the window is exceptional.

Our room for 3 was over £400 for 1 night and on reflection, I don’t think this was good value for money. The room was beautiful but did not feel fully 5 star as the interior design felt in-consistent. Whilst the shower was fantastic as well as the view, we felt it lacked a luxury feel. Hermes toiletries were advertised but these were not present in the room, instead another brand and when we asked an explanation was not provided. Iron and Ironing board was far below standard expected from a 5 star. Main selling point ps privacy and view, given absence of pool and leisure facility, I’m not sure it feels 5 star.
