Beautifully restored villa with amazing views, comfortable and clean rooms, and delicious breakfast served fresh every morning. The breakfast offerings included fresh fruit, bacon and eggs, yogurt, cereal, breads, cakes and more. It was served in their charming breakfast room or outside when weather permits. Our room was on the first floor and was tastefully decorated, had gorgeous views and was spotlessly clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable as well. The property is situated just outside the entrance to Siena and is an easy walk or you can take the local bus that picks you up a few steps from the villa. Our hosts Giacomo and Lorenzo were so welcoming and helpful and made you feel like you were part of their family. We can’t wait to return to this magical place.

We loved the traditional Tuscan palazzo, its painted ceilings and overall setting. It was very convenient to get to the centre of Siena on foot or by bus. There was a lovely terrace and garden to sit outside in the evening with a glass of wine and relax. Most of all, we truly appreciated the warm welcome and attentiveness of Giacomo and Lorenzo, who went out of their way to advise us on the best places to go and how to enjoy their city. All the staff were delightful without exception.

Giacomo will laugh when he reads this: the narrow driveway! However, it’s wider than you first think and we quickly got used to it!

Beautiful preserved villa with professional caring staff and fantastic views of Siena. The innkeeper was so kind to explain the property and the city to us. He graciously offered to make dinner reservations for us at his favorite restaurants and they were great! Very nice breakfast buffet with organic items and freshly made cappuccinos for us—then you can take it out on the terrace and eat with a view!! You can use your credit card to take a short bus ride into town, then walk back in the lovely evening air after dinner! Loved it!

Friendly people... even though we arrived a bit late in the evening... Large room... Old world Farm Charm! Breakfast is decent in a homely atmosphere... if weather is good, sit outside and take in the view! Olive trees all round!

No elevator, so have to lug your bags up the stairs to the main entrance Narrow entrance gate for driving in; road leading into the estate from the main gate - no lights and driving path is just about OK for a car, you could miss the gate after sunset! No facilities for food or snacks... so no lunch or dinner in the Villa... you have to walk 10 to 15 minutes to a pizzeria if you are hungry.

This is a beautiful property with great views of the Tuscan countryside. The view from our window was amazing. Giacomo and Lorenzo are great hosts and gave us excellent recommendations on what to see, do and how to get there. They explained Siena very well. We were even close to a bus stop if we chose to go that route. The breakfast was amazing! I can't say enough of how wonderful of an experience this was.

Hotel Palazzo Di Valli is the greatest place to stay in Siena. The views are just incredible. The Palazzo, from the 1700s, it’s beautiful. The room is very comfortable. It’s located 10 minutes away from Siena’s historical center. If you have a car there is a ton of places you can visit by driving only 30 minutes. Giacomo was an incredible host. He told us the story of Siena and the Palazzo, he loves talking about history and we loved to listen. Overall a beautiful experience.

Our stay at Hotel Palazzo di Valli was incredible, I could not recommend it more! The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, breakfast was delicious and the location ideal to visit Siena (parking was a big plus too!) However, what really made it a 10/10 stay were the staff - Giacomo, Lorenzo and Susanna - who were incredibly helpful, kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

The staff was amazing and made us feel like home, and helped us in everything we needed, and gave us great recommendations to visit Sienna. Their breakfast is outstanding with local ingredients of high quality. They have a gorgeous garden where they keep local plants. The view from our room was gorgeous, and the room was really pretty, decorated like a traditional Italian villa, with the taste of the original families. We will come back, thanks.

The hotel is very nicely situated,walking distance to the centre of Siena and with a regular bus service at the end of the drive.The grounds and views from the terrace,complete with wild deer roaming free,close to the terrace wall,are excellent. We had a ground floor room, complete with large porch (containing an original pizza oven) and its own separate entrance(perhaps the only room of this nature?),which was a real bonus as it made carrying our luggage from the car so much easier. Our room was probably a tad rustic in comparison to those inside the main building(based on the hotel’s photographic gallery),but we didn’t actually get to see said rooms in reality. The breakfasts were wonderful and being able to eat them out on the extensive terrace with its wonderful views was a real bonus. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would recommend the Hotel Palazzo di Valli as a base for anyone exploring Siena.

The location and proximity of our room to where our car was parked suited us for the reasons given. However,our room didn’t have the opulence of the rooms inside the main building apparently(based upon the hotel’s gallery of photographs),which was a bit of a surprise on our arrival……..and in fact it could have been a major disappointment and indeed spoilt our stay had we let it.

The hotel literally took our breath away. The view of Siena on the hill, just 20 minutes walk to the center. The building is from 1700`s and it is so beautiful. The room has painted high ceilings, and was equipped with historical furniture, very comfortable bed, clean, big, with fridge and kettle. Bathroom was beautiful too, with the painted tiles on the floor, free toiletries. Another treasure there were managers, Lorenzo and Giacomo. They were so welcoming, explaining everything, helpful. One can feel like home. The breakfast was delicious, tables were outside on the terrace, with amazing view of the Siena, or the garden full of olive and orange trees. Also gluten free and vegan options. Free parking next to the building. We would definitely like to return.
