we stayed for 13 nights and had an unforgettable holiday. The whole hotel team is very friendly and supportive day and night. The whole hotels is an old building and gives you a very authenic sense of Tuscany, dont expect a fancy, cold, modern hotel with large rooms and latest technology. However the rooms have AC, fridge and all necessary equipment. The terrace with a breathtaking fiew to the valley and the 24h available bar are definitely an advantage of this hotel compared to others. The location is in walkable distance to the Porta Romana and the historic center of Siena

self service at the breakfast buffet would be nicer even the staff is very helpful to satisfy all your needs.

This place is simply amazing! Beautiful rooms and if you have the view to the back, overseeing Val d'Orcia, then that is an astonishing bonus! The staff was so friendly and ready to help - they gave us very good ideas for our day trips around Siena. You can really see they love what they are doing and they are 100% there for the customers. The breakfast is really good and their coffee is top. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel. If we ever return to Siena, this is where we'll stay.

Location is perfect - away from the bustle but close enough to walk. Superbly peaceful setting with a divine back garden for sunset, moonrise and vino. Team are amazing! Old school European hospitality. Loved our room - small but romantic and the window opening onto the garden allowed lovely breeze in at night and waking to sound of the birds. Finally - private parking which is a rarity in Siena.

Wi-Fi was spotty. But not unlike everywhere else we’ve been outside major urban hubs in Italy. Forced to put the work down for a few days! 😉

The hotel was very quaint and authentic. It had a beautiful garden with beautiful views. The first room had a small shower opening that my husband truly couldn't fit through as he has very broad shoulders and is larger. They changed our room the next morning as soon as one came available that had a tub shower. The room also had a beautiful balcony. They upgraded us to this room for no extra charge. Lucio was fabulous! He helped us with booking a restaurant for an authentic Tuscan steak in the area even before we arrived. I got very sick while we were in Siena, and the staff was so helpful and even offered to bring up breakfast each morning so I didn't have to walk. I missed most of our visit there due to being sick so the next time we come back we will definitely stay here again!

That view from the garden makes it a great value for money. The quality of the breakfast with traditional tasty Italian food is a delight, and after that, enjoy getting a capucino in the garden. The rooms and the bathrooms are very clean, helpful staff and 24h reception. Location very good, not in the busy city centre but 3 minutes away from the entrance of the city, the bus is right in front of the hotel so it works perfectly. I would love to return one day, I will choose a bigger room for sure.

I have to start with the pillows, because they are easy to change and very necessary, because they are too hard, the rooms are clasic and clean, I had a room for one person and it's doable but not incredibly enjoyable because of the tight space, which is probably not uncommon in Siena. Some say the mattress should be changed, and yes, it's not a bad idea at all, but the pillows.. this is an easy fix and can be done soonest. I would still choose this hotel for the many good reasons mentioned above.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Porta Romana - they say 800m to Piazza del Campo, Google maps says 1100m. The hotel is elegant, nice decorations. There is also a panoramic view and a garden with terrace for enjoying on good weather. The room was warm and comfortable. It was quiet. Minibar/fridge on the room. They have permanent reception services. Safe parking offered at an extra cost and they offered us the possibility to leave the car there after checkout as well. The breakfast is diversified.

Tiny tv. Parking is 15 euros inside their courtyard, options not explained so much before and also not when discussing handing over the keys. If you take the risk, there can be places with 1.5 euros/hour nearby which are perfect for overnight stay only since you pay 8-20 only. Hard dragging the luggage through the earth and pebbles as the parking is not asphalt.. The price of room is a bit above mid, especially by adding parking. We prefer self service for breakfast to choose exactly what we have without a lot of discussions about this, that, more, less, not that. We got a tiny portion of honey, funny.

Beautiful location.Exquisite view from the adjoining garden looking over broad vista. Exceptionally friendly staff.. Sorry I don't have time to go into detail about our experience. We would highly recommend this property. Great breakfast in beautiful dining room.

Not much we or owner can do about carrying luggage up stairs, but we didn't like it. There was a lift to the lower room but the staircase to upper level where bed was located did not allow taking suitcases up. No TV but then again we do not understand Italian. Would have been nice to have a smart TV like we had in several other properties that allowed us to stream NETFLIX, You Tube, etc. On lower level, there really was no space for two people to fold open their luggage to reach needed items without having to place them in drawers or cabinets for a short stay, but there were no drawers but there was a wardrobe.

Great view. The first day was cloudy, but the second day, you could see exactly what is shown in the picture. Location is great, literally 1 block away from the entrance of Sienna. The staff is very welcoming. The breakfast is great: lots of options and very good quality. Pastries are from another planet.

The only bad thing I could say is that the place doesn't have free parking. They offer paid parking per day, which is not free. The best option is to park on the street, which is free at night and at a reasonable price.

Very nice and clean hotel in Siena, just outside city walls, 15 minutes walk to the main square. Been there already a few times. Breakfast in the garden with great Tuscany views is unforgettable.

The staff was super friendly and very kind to suggest restaurants and to book reservations for us! The breakfast that was included was lovely and the cappuccinos were endless! :-) The view from the back garden was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening, drinking wine and socializing with friends. The hotel has a bar service and you could get wine or cocktails and their Aperol Spritz was excellent! Also, the location was perfect and a fairly short walk to the center of town.

The room was comfortable but quite small which you would expect for a hotel located in the city. The shower was also very small but fortunately my husband and I are not big people and again, you would not expect a really large shower and bathroom in this type of hotel. One thing I do think they could upgrade would be the bedding. Everything was very old fashioned and it felt like you were at your grandmother's house. BUT that aside, the mattress was comfortable and we slept well.
