Loved our little escape to our bed and breakfast 'country villa'! Very historic, beautiful and tranquil... They served a very nice breakfast where you could sit inside or out on the expansive back lawn under the trees. Loved our same level room separate from the main 'hotel' - an added touch of privacy and quiet. To get to town you had to either order a taxi or take the bus. The bus (either #54 or #3) takes you into town for 1.70 Euros one-way. When leaving the villa, there two bus stops, one to the right and the other to the left (both about a 3-4 minute walk. We had a taxi only when arriving at the train station and when heading back to the train. Approximately 20.00 Euros one-way. A very restful escape. In Siena, be sure to check out their Wednesday Market! Blocks of shopping on the street named Viale Cesare Maccari - food, new & used clothes and gadgets. Great prices!

Only thing is that their restaurant/bar wasn't open. Apparently it's being remodeled, but we didn't know that going in. If the restaurant/bar was open, it would have been perfect!!! I would have loved to view the beauty around us enjoying a meal and fine glass of wine.

While a ways from the city, the place is close to a bus stop which goes direct to the city. The breakfast options are generous and staff are very helpful. I appreciated the special efforts to cater to my vegan diet - however I note there were actually plenty of vegan options in the regular breakfast offerings, so the chocolate biscuits and corn chips weren't needed (but appreciated the thought!). Soy milk and yogurt great though. If I can make one suggestion it would be to provide some margarine/vegan butter alternative for the bread - then it would be perfect 😊

Mattress was a little stiff and uncomfortable, and room wasn't supplied with soap at the outset (although staff sorted this out for me very quickly when I asked, so no biggie).

Great location, just few stops by bus from city center. Bus stop is only two minutes walking from house. Garden is very nice place to take your breakfast, enjoy morning coffee or wine in the afternoon.

First night there was an annoying alarm turned on at the reception, unfortunately out off regular opening hours, therefore it takes approximately 1 hour to get somebody turn it off (even there was an emergency phone number 24/7 it was not possible to reach responsible person in the first attempt). Also walls are a bit thin so you can hear all the voices from other rooms. If you have a bit louder neighbors it can be difficult to sleep well. However these are minor things compared to overall feeling from this very nice place. It's definitely worth it.

It was comfortable and quiet and although more suited to having a car the bus was close and you can walk from the city . Had nice garden room. For others I would advise to get the bus up into town because it's all up hill. The buses are frequent and it's cheap. However buses finish around 8pm.

Breafast room small for amount of people. Fruit juice synthetic. Everything else fine. Would have preferred fresh cut fruit, rather than the tinned fruit salad in syrup. Were not informed of the bar being closed for our stay, which was an inconvenience.

Locating the property and Parking were easy. Our room was on the ground floor so carrying our bags was easy. Breakfast was modest but decent. Coffee was from a machine. The property was close to a bus stop for Siena There was a nice little garden.

The restaurant wasn't open in August so we had a bit of a drive when we wanted to eat. However, we found two good places, one recommended by the hosts,

I was looking for something quiet and out of the city for a couple days and it was perfect. Still close enough and with bus access if you don't have a car. The staff was very pleasant and easy to get ahold of if they weren't at the desk. The room was nice and very clean.

It was a little noisy the first morning as my room was just outside the breakfast area and people were up quite early and talking loudly ( 6:30 am ) but it was better the next morning.

Great location quiet nice place too sleep. Great safe and private parking. Very nice breakfast and very cind staff.

The bed could be a little bit harder. For our taste the bed is too soft.

This place was great. First of all it was clean, comftorable and the house was looking good in general. Girls on reception were also very kind and was of big help, they will help you wirh everything.

Little bit tricky to come from city centre by walking, it takes only 20/30min but the road doesnt have very much space to walk..... but there is a bus that goes directly to front of the house :) .

The hotel is nice and the location is nice too. The staff were nice too. The bus is just 2 min walk and bus lines 8/54 take you to central Siena.

It can be a bit noisy from the main road which is a stone throw away.

Nice old restaured brick building with garden...big clean room, exellent bed, clean attached bathroom, good wifi they have a restaurant attached where we had our breakfast (typical italian breakfast) but we did not try the food there, but still very convienient to have a restaurant nearby. Location was exellent, only 5 min drive from old town Siena. Very friendly front staff gave us all the informations we needed to get to Siena and where to park.

We slept with closed windows as the building was close to a very busy road. So the traffic noises could be annoying for some people. We were too tired to notice.
