We only stayed for one night and were totally alone. We thank Daniele and Naomi for all the help and information. We could stop shortly in front of the door to unload the luggage and bring it to the second floor (no elevator). 50m away around the corner is a public parking for 15€ / 24 hours. The room was beautifully designed and very big. Everything was there...we could even use a tiny kitchen for tea and coffee, use a wine glass🍷. As we were alone we cannot say if it is loud when all rooms are occupied

The Rate Design 4 Rooms is located right at the entrance of Ortigia, near the lively Ortigia market—a beautiful and convenient spot. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the host was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a pleasant experience in a fantastic location.

The breakfast was decent, though I’d recommend not setting your expectations too high in that regard.

D cordiality and politeness of d staff. They were always available and accomodating. The room provided was spacious, impeccably clean and well lit with natural light. Location is very close to the old Ortigian market. Thus, it is perfectly situated close to all major points of interest but without the constant noise that is characteristic of a touristic hot spot.

Nothing really. We were made aware that Design4Rooms is situated on 2nd floor and that no lift is available.

The location is situated in the beautiful island of Ortigia next to Syracuse. The host has been exceptionally accommodating allowing us to check-in at a time suitable for us while upgrading our room for the modest sum of 10€ as the bed sheets had to be changed. We stayed at the facility for just one night, however it has been extremely pleasant and relaxing. The facility is a big apartment which has been divided in different rooms of different sizes with different names recalling to the sailing tradition of Ortigia. Each room is well equipped with a very comfortable bed, and a very modern shower and bathroom. Additionally you are given furniture such as chairs, tables, trays etc with reflect the name on the door of your rooms, e.g ferro (steel) everything in the rooms will be of the same material. Complimentary water is offered by the host as well as vouchers for each guest attending the facility for breakfast at a local bar right at the corner of the street. I strongly recommend to stay at this place in the middle of Ortigia as you will be able to discover the island in a much deeper way. The location of the facilities not only allows you to visit all the main attractions and historical sites, like the temple of Apollo or the castle of Maniace castle, but at the same time is right next to a parking place for which you pay just 15€ for a full 24h, in a place where if not a resident parking is prohibited and expensive, some places ask for a 2€/h fee. Overall exceptional experience. Strongly recommended to anyone who is planing to stay, visit and explore Syracuse even if for just one day.

It benefits an excellent location in Siracusa, close to all the attractions of the wonderful city. The rooms are on the second floor of a historic building, with a unique decoration. Comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, high ceilings and elegant windows give to the rooms an exquisite air. Breakfast is served at a pastry shop at the corner of the building where we ate the best croissants with ricotta ever. There is also a local market nearby, with fresh products of excellent quality. Amazing service, lovely room in a fantastic location.

The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable - the ‘extra’ ones were puffier but hard as a rock. The room was 60 steps from ground level - it was fine for us but anyone with mobility issues would be challenged.

The location was great, the people were wonderful and welcoming. Geve us info and shared tips and suggestions about the city.The flat was chic and stylish and clean. We were travelling as friends so the ensuite bathroom separated with a tinted glass partition and door was something that threw us off a bit. Just something to keep in mind. Not a deal breaker.

The location was great, situated on the island of Ortigia, close to great food and sights. Our room was clean, and our breakfast at the cafe next door was delicious.

Our room had this lingering smell of sewage that went away when we turned the AC on, but came back whenever we returned from sightseeing.

Very good location, close to the market, easy access next to the main bridge and parking lots. Host was helpful with explanations and guidance.
