Lovely old Italian building with rooms full of charm. Sonia was superhelpful with her directions and recommendations for parking and how to access our room. It couldn't have been easier. The location was perfect, very central for all that we wanted to see during our stay. Night time there was some noise, but having read other reviews, we expected it, and that was the trade-off for being in such a great location. I would definitely recommend staying here, and if we visit Sicily again, I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. There was a small balcony that would have been perfect to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the view and activity, if there were a couple of small chairs.

Location was excellent - not too far from train station and steps from restaurants, stores, churches etc. I forgot we had breakfast included and we were still offered some food and drink way past the time on our first day. Room was gorgeous and huge - 2 levels with an awesome bathroom and sleeping area. No wifi in room but not a problem as little sitting area outside our room which was nice and quiet. Would rate it a 20 out of 10 if possible - no complaints at all. Everything was perfect.

Excellent location where we could walk to the center of Ortigia easily. The room was large and comfortable. The elevator is small but it worked. Breakfast was satisfactory. Note: next door is a marvelous food shop with Sicilian specialties---dried tomatoes, oregano, much more and a very kind salesperson

Parking was an issue. We parked a few blocks away and had to pay at a meter......not to get a ticket......a nice couple helped us with parking rules and how to use the machine. We never met the hostess, no personal contact with any staff until breakfast We were looking for the location after coming across the Ortigia bridge. We spoke to the hostess on the phone and even though we were 1/2 block away she gave us confusing directions and we drove around

Very nice lady taking care of me at breakfast. Very well located in walking distance to most sites. If you don't care much for walking, you could take the bus to the sites in Syracuse. French doors, with view to old roman ruins. Great sized room with a minifridge and a kettle.

It took some time to heat the room, as the AC's temperature was way off. At 32 degrees C it barely made it to 21, but luckily there was a very nice additional blanket.

The location was easy to access, even if the restaurant nearby was playing loud music until 11pm. Sonia was very hospitable, gave good directions to reach the property and enter the room. When forgetting some clothes in the room we got a call from the hosts.

The building seemed to be a little let down, there was a huge cockroach upon entering. The bathroom door couldn’t be locked. The other lady speaks very fast Italian, not being bothered even the slightest that we don’t.

Fantastic location. Good to have a lift but we only found this on check out! 🙄🤣 Delicious breakfast with homemade cakes. Comfortable beds and large bedroom. Exceptionally clean.

The only negative is the incredibly small bedroom. Shower area is very small. Cramped area and not suitable if you are very tall and slightly overweight.

I arrived late (after 11 pm) which was no problem due to self-check in, also depositing my luggage, and coming back to pick s.th up I had forgotten was super easy, staff was always helpful. The room was large and very clean, the location both easy to find walking from the train station, but still a very good starting point for walks into the Ortigia penininsula. Would definitely stay there again

A great location for all Siracusa has to offer! All facilities within walking distance… only half an hour gentle stroll to the end of the island!! Very friendly helpful staff and breakfast was good.

The only downside for us was the beds were a little uncomfortable so we had sore backs until we got walking ! The room was a large bedroom but smallish living room

It was clean, really friendly staff, beautiful location very close to the city center.

Breakfast was not so special and the coffe really needs improvement. It is almost impossible to find a parking place in the evening although this is a common problem in Ortigia. Very noisy in the evening and night with loud music from nearby bar and restaurants, once again a common problem during high season. in very turistic locations.

staff is very kind, room and bathroom were clean and the hotel is well located.

no parking on site, you can find places on the street or on parking lots, but it can be difficult to find a space on holidays. breakfast is very basic (no fruits or juice, only 1 coffee/cappuccino and 1 pastry) there’s no sound isolation on the room and the street/bars nearby are quite noisy.
