Fabulous! Immaculately clean. Quiet at night. Central location in beautiful Ortigia. Fab bathroom!

All perfecto!

Great central location near Diana Fountain. Apartment is modern refurbished in an old palazzo. Quite large with separate bedroom and living area/Kitchenette.

We asked for 1hr extension for checkout but host said it is not possible. (We wanted to check out at 11am instead of 10am and check-in time is from 3pm). At booking we asked for luggage storage or early check-in but we got no answer. When I asked again host said he will tell us the day before arrival. Host did not contact us. We called when we arrived. Host gave us early check-in - no extra charge. We just had to wait one hour in the Piazza.

It is an extremely comfortable B&B. Living room, bathroom, bedroom, room size all happen to benefit well. Each room has a small balcony with a beautiful sea view. Getting up in the morning, I stepped into the small balcony, took a deep breath, and saw the clear sky, amazing clouds, and the blue sea in the distance, which is a beautiful beginning of the day. The facilities in the room are not perfunctory at all, and are sincerely for what the guests need. The heated towel rack for drying is very thoughtful. Thank you very much for this B&B, which relieved my fatigue on the travelling road and show me a more beautiful city!

nothing dislike! This is a perfect apartment !

We booked the deluxe apartment (no 4) overlooking the street. It was large, modern with a very comfortable bed. It had a good bathroom with an excellent shower. There were 4 small balconies which looked into the street. The kitchenette was well equipped with fridge, coffee machine, kettle and hot plate. The air conditioning was efficient and kept the room cool (it was 33 degrees outside). The building is close to the Diana Fountain and the old town. Also about a 10 minute walk from the sea front. Very comfortable. Highly recommend.

2 minor problems: 1. The electric shutters did not work, although fabric curtains cut out the light instead. 2. The apartments are not very well soundproofed so we could hear the occupants of the adjoining flats. First night we had very noisy neighbours but after that it was fine.

EVERYTHING! The location was perfect, the owners were more than accommodating and the room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed being close to the centre and having a range of restaurants and facilities close by. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Siracusa. Marco and Martina are the best hosts you could have and made our stay very enjoyable and we felt comfortable to ask as many questions as we needed too. Nothing was ever a problem and we can’t wait to stay again :)

Besides the lock box not being bolted in and not having a washing machine on-site, there was nothing we didn’t like! There was a laundry very close by that we used.

Although not a hotel and with no onsite management, we were surprised by housekeeping service unexpectedly provided on our 3rd day !

We thought we had reserved 2 rooms for 3 people for our 5 night stay. The night before our arrival we learned that the property has only one room (studio in US) units and so 2 people shared a large (queen ?) bed and the 3rd person had a large convertible couch. Management rented us a second, smaller studio for the 3rd person’s subsequent 4 nights. No other property we have ever booked has misunderstood our reservation request like this. The property has ONLY one room /studios!

The location was excellent, as was the building. Everything was clean, and well maintained. The host experience was also well done, as I was able to ask questions and receive answers.

One thing to note is that sometimes you could hear other guests though the walls, but that is to be expected in this type of building. Perhaps something could be done to limit that? This is a minor deal however.

This apartment is quite new and is in very great condition. Everything was perfectly clean and the kitchen was very well set up. The building has a lift which is a bonus as many of the older buildings do not have them. It is located in a very central part of Ortigia which makes it easy to get around. The company that manages the apartment provided a comprehensive online guide for restaurants , cafes, services which is very helpful.

The floors are tiled and there are two steps from the front door and the bathroom area leading into the main part of the apartment. You have to be mindful that these steps are here or it can be a tripping hazard. We set up the chairs to remind us which was fine.

The apartment is very modern and has everything you'd want for a Sicilian escape. It is so centrally located in Ortigia, I would very much recommend it, and the little balcony is wonderful.

We booked the jacuzzi room and this was a disappointment. The shower and rest of the bathroom was fine the tub was unusable. The tap to fill up the tub needs cleaning out of limescale as it drips VERY slowly to fill the tub (it was 45 minutes and still not full). Once 45 minutes were up I turned on the jets and brown water come out and into the tub. The tub itself was clean but the jets and taps can't have been cleaned. The owners are aware of this and have been very good at offering a discount for us.

Matteotti was absolutely stunning! The apartment was immaculately clean. So spacious. It was right in the heart of Siracusa, in the main shopping strip! Close to the markets and great restaurants and gelato. The swimming area was a short walk. Best cafe with the best coffee right across the street! The apartment was modern and brand new and the jacuzzi was a great addition! Amazing for the price!
