The location, the style and design of the hotel, the private terrace, the bar club downstairs, the organisation with the parking, the welcome at reception and all advices given for restaurants and beaches. I was one morning not well and the guy from breakfast noticed it. He informed the reception lady who came to check if i had everything and brought me a special coffee in a wonderful cup to make me feel better.

The room cleaning. Clearly the maid was lazy and was only doing the beds. We stayed 4 days and we had to ask on 3rd day to get new towels and amenities. Some sand fell off my stuff and went on the bathroom floor unfortunately while coming from the beach on day 2 and was never cleaned during the stay !! But this sad example only applies to the maid .

oh the style, excellent renovation, most beautiful rooms and communal rooms. Breakfast on the terrace. Very helpful staff (Daniele). Subherb location, a minute from Piazza del Duomo.

Bit of a hike up the stairs with our overseas suitcase but not a problem for us.

The property was quiet and in a great position. The room was stunning with everything you need thought of. Large bathroom and shower. Breakfast was delicious and served on the rooftop where we could have sat for hours.

Nothing, if I had to say one thing was that the signage in the street could have been more noticeable. I was walking looking for the entrance and walked past because I noticed the name of the restaurant in same building and missed the sign above for La Maison.

I had a great experience. The claw foot bathtub was luxurious, and the room was quiet, since there are no restaurants or bars on the street right outside. The terrace was a lovely place to start my day.

The entrance was a bit hard to find and awkward. I walked past the street door twice before seeing it, and then once I got inside it was dark and I didn't see any signs. I was met by staff soon to be shown the door and the two flights of stairs - so wasn't lost long - but it was a bit disorienting.

Very well located along the main pedestrian street of the old town. You pass through a gate and enter a fancy bar with reception area. To reach the Hotel, climb a few stairs and enter the common room. The Hotel is like a cosy yet fancy flat: very charming with plenty of personal touches throughout. The breakfast is served in this main living room on the dining table. It is a decent breakfast with homemade marmelade and good coffee. Friendly, smiley staff that was very helpful. Our room was located onto a quiet courtyard with a nice contrast to the busy street. We had a private terrace. The music in the bar at the reception stops around 23:00. As such, we slept very well. Bed, Air conditioning , bathroom... everything perfect.

We didn't mind at all but for others it might be good to know that the hotel is located on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Otherwise all good.

we loved everything about the property! the design of the public spaces weee unique and authentic, the design of the room was historically restored with partial frescoes revealed, it was full of light with rooftop views , the huge shower was greatly appreciated. loved the communal terrace and breakfast was very special with local house made marmalade. location was perfect in centre of the historic part of the city, walking distance to everywhere. The hotel organised parking for our car in a nearby secure parking.

…. the very cute bar downstairs was closed on Saturday night? perhaps this was just the once?

The location was perfect, right in the middle of Ortigia. The room has everything we needed and felt like it was a room in a Palazzo. Anna looked after us so well and was so helpful book restaurants and with helpful tips for the island. The breakfast on the terrace was also great and very peaceful. We had the best time and would highly recommend 10/10. Thanks Anna and the team.

It is unique with updated facilities but old charm such as marble and fresco ceilings. it is like a home with several rooms as common areas and the. the guests each have their own room

There were a lot of stairs. they helped us with our luggage. They will help get you a taxi that can go quite close to the hotel. We did not do this and walked with our roller luggage through the old town and cobbled streets.

This place was fantastic. Located in the heart of old Ortigia on a pedestrian street, but close enough to be served easily by taxis. The hotel has a beautiful lobby and bar, and the rooms are gorgeous. Our host, Anna, was extremely helpful with everything. Definitely worth the money. The number of rooms is limited, so book early.

This property was incredible. The decor, the location, the service and design was impeccable. You won’t find anything else like it. It was a historic building that had been refitted as a hotel. Each corner has been considered and you are literally staying in a work of art. Highly recommend!!
