Fabulous location….unbeatable …noisy on the street but does not take away from the location…well worth it...lovely buffet breakfast and charming room …

No air conditioning..room was very warm ….no info on how to get from the train station to the hotel which is confusing as when you arrive you have no idea where you are..the hotel and the town centre is quite away from the station..so any information on transportation to the hotel would have been greatly appreciated…and, almost all information generally about transportation to and from the train station was different from every source ..very frustrating..but the town in beautiful and now we know our way around would stay again. Unbeatable location..

Absolutely perfect location and the hotel is charming. Breakfast was great, lots of fresh pastries, fruit and cake plus hams, cheeses etc and the most amazing views over the bay. Rooms were quiet at night and so comfortable. Most definitely would stay here again.

We booked this hotel as we were attending the Roberto Bolle and Friends Gala in the Teatro Antico. The location couldn't have been better. It is a few minutes walk to the theatre and the location of the hotel is in the main shopping/restaurant area of Corso Umberto. The hotel staff were all friendly and spoke good English. The open air terrace gave amazing views of Mount Etna and the coastline. The continental breakfast was good, and the croissants and torte di Nonna were delicious. We used the local CitybySee hop-on hop-off buses, located just a few minutes away, to see all the sights and to take us to the beach. We used the cable car, also just a few minutes away, to bring us back from Isola Bella beach up to Taormina centre.

Everything was as expected for the price we paid. If you wish to have a bigger room / bathroom / cooked breakfast then you need to find another hotel. This was perfect for our needs.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and caring, always going out of their way to ensure guests felt welcome and comfortable. Special thanks to Elena and Carmello, who were incredibly helpful in recommending great spots to visit in the city. They were always friendly and attentive, and even arranged breakfast packages for us when we had an early flight. Their efforts truly made our vacation memorable. The hotel's location is perfect, with easy access to various attractions, dining, and shopping options. This convenience made it simple to explore the area and enjoy all it has to offer.

However, due to its central location, the evenings can be quite loud, with noise from the surrounding area continuing until late at night. And breakfast could have had more savory variety.

Because the Isabel Hotel was in renovation I was offered the room in Villa Diodoro hotel, probably ran by the same owners. Isabella hotel has very good location in the middle of "the old town", but Villa Diodoro is not very far from it, but it offers stunning views from every room. My room's view towards lower Taormina, the bay and Etna (corner room with corner balcony) was absolutely fantastic. Very good comfortable bed and very nice breakfest for both sweet and salty lovers. a definitely recommend that hotel, specialy with the off-season price which is very low imho.

I would say, that changing corridor rugs is the only thing I would recommend. They seem to be a little used. Everything else was more then good.

Location was great right in the middle of everything

Nothing about the property. Just our room was facing the main street which is a bit noisy at night with people walking & also then in the morning with the garage trucks coming & vendors getting their deliveries the balcony doors are not that sound proof Also our attached blow dryer didn’t work I told the front desk thought they would fix or give one but they didn’t. Our daughter’s room had a portable one so I just took theirs. We were only there 2days. The breakfast was great though

Hotel is in a great central location in the old town pedestrian area. Our room on the third floor benefitted from windows and a balcony that allowed good views to the sea and far coastline over rooftops. The hotel is handy to all the major attractions, restaurants and cafes - it is also a short walk to Messina Gate where it is easy to catch buses to/from the station, and for day tours or a taxi. The hotel has a dated interior but our room was comfortable, with a reasonably sized bathroom. Breakfast was not extensive but included cold meats and cheeses along with the typical pastries and cakes. More than ample. The staff were also helpful.

The staff was friendly & helpful. The rooftop terrace had a phenomenal view. The cleaning staff were always courteous. Breakfast was a nice touch. I’m sure the free beach would have been nice, but there was no option, even for paying an extra fee, to have our daughter come with us, so we were unable to use it.

Our tv didn’t work properly initially and the screen was small. Our daughter stayed at a much cheaper hotel, a 2 minute walk away and had a tv twice as big and paid half the price of our room—and her room was bigger!

The hotel location is perfect and in the center, clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast and the views while having breakfast are spectacular.

The rooms are very small having a toddler it was not the ideal room. Having just 1 lift it takes a lot of time to go from one floor to another. On our first night we didn't have any hot water in the bathroom and after a long day traveling we had to take a shower including our toddler in cold water. Rooms are also a bit old.

The room was very spacious, very clean, modern and had large windows to let in natural light. Very cool as well with the air con. Bed was comfy, and location was ultimate, close to everything you needed to get too. Special mention to Ricardo and Laura who were in charge of the breakfast each morning. They were so warm and welcoming, they always remembered our coffee orders every morning, even our room number. Extremely friendly and we actually have missed seeing them since we have moved on to our next destination. The terrace where you eat breakfast has sensational views of the Greek theatre, etna, the water and the local town, it is absolutely breathtaking.

The shower in the room was very small and awkward for the size of the bathroom, given the rest is considerably large. The panels on the shower didn't do a great job keeping the water in the space. Also the room is separated by a thin door to the adjacent room next door which meant you could hear people talking whenever they were in the room.
