The property is just inside of the Porta Messina providing easy access to the town and to the shuttle from the parking garage and any bus or car service you require. The hostess is fantastic and actually bakes and cooks eggs for the guest in an adorable kitchen dining room with a view. She stored our luggage on the final. day giving us another full day in Taormina before leaving and recommended Salvadore (he was great) to drive us to Savoca for a private Godfather trip. The room was spotless and nicely setup with adequate shower room. Definitely the best value for the money.

Being right on the Main Street, it can be noisy early but we sleep with the window open and could have closed it if it got too bad.

The location was amazing and Sonia, the manager, was a darling. She made my stay at this B&B a great experience. Nothing was too much trouble. Sonia can’t speak a word of English but we got by with hand gestures and google translate.

I booked a superior room for my stay but was given a standard room for the first two days. The basin has a leak and the toilet seat was broken which was very unpleasant. I was moved to the suite I booked and it was better but the mattress was very uncomfortable. I eventually was given a mattress topper which helped. The other downside is that there is no lift and a LOT of stairs to climb so not for everyone. My room wasn’t serviced once during my 8 day stay but having said all this I still had a lovely time.

Very nice room, clean, bathroom good with lots of hot water, comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi connection. The owner was really nice and gave us orientation about where to go and what to see. The location is good and close to everything on the lovely Main Street, the only issue that may be a problem is that it is right next to the Messina Gate which can get very noisy at times as many Tour leaders bring groups there and there was also a small bar below our window with a couple of tables outside. We were there in March and had the windows closed so it didn’t bother us too much. All in all, very good value for money. Breakfast was also good!

Location was really good, just at the entrance of Porta Messina. Close enough to the main bits to see, but not in the middle of the town. Check in was straight forward, we didn't meet the owner, but got the keys for a self check-in. The breakfast was good, with plenty of savoury and sweet options to choose from.

It was a little bit noisy at night, but I guess that's expected considering the location. Place it's a little bit odd, with four rooms on one floor, and then the breakfast room above. It was a bit small and crowded (we all got there at the same time), but still pleasant.

The hosts were wonderful and helpful. They were best part of staying here. The location is convenient - a short walk to the Interbus Station and the cable car (funivia) to the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the lively street (Corso Umberto) below. Breakfast options are limited but we enjoyed what was offered. .

They used a room fragrance that was too strong for us. The air conditioner did not cool the room down. The entry was a dark staircase that occasionally smelled of smoke and sewer smell as we walked into the building Our room was small especially the bathroom. No place to put your toiletries.

The location is extremely great, it is located on an extremely busy street. There are several great restaurants nearby, not to mention the bus stop and cable car stop are really close The girls are really nice and ready to help. You can also leave your bag there before/after checkin. Breakfast is super, however wasn’t our taste (mainly sweet things). You can choose from delicious pastries and great coffee is served as well The room size is ok.

The bed was uncomfortable, really soft and used. As it is on a main street, it is quite loud till midnight and early hours as well. Not the cleanest place I have visited (previous guest’s hair in the bed)

- Location: This is top and could not ask for better - Customer Care: 1) Perla was very accommodating and helpful. I forgot my adapter and had a heavy work day ahead of me; she went out of her way to get me an adapter and I was able to work and charge my laptop!!! She also allowed me to work all day in the breakfast area as my room was quite small (room with external bathroom). Perla is a real pearl! She was also kind in offering me coffee and water while I was working. 2) Elisabetta: the Manager that came in later and was absolutely lovely and friendly. Same comment regarding friendliness and availability. She allowed me to continue working from the breakfast room. It's a joy and gift to be able to connect with people and their experiences.

- I hadn't realised that I had booked the room with the external bathroom!!! This would have been ok, if the room was on a different floor and not across the breakfast area with the external bathroom being across the hall and next to it. It was uncomfortable in the morning that you get out of your room and all guests are looking at you coming and going from the bathroom. This arrangement was fine for a one night stay, but I would not stay in this room for more than this. The other rooms looked more modern than mine, which was a little dated. - If it hadn't been for having chosen the room with the external bathroom, I would give this place a 10/10.

B&B Joan's Heritage is a true gem. Really well located and right near Corso Umberto. We were met by Elisabetta who could not have been more helpful or welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were super clean and comfortable, bathrooms were clean as well. The Breakfast room was bright, sunny and pleasant. Grazia was our host during breakfast and again, she was so very helpful. Layout in the breakfast room was perfect where we all shared the table and could then chat with each other - breakfast provided fresh croissants (yum!) and orange juice as well as a good selection of fruit, yogurt, jams, toast, hams and cheeses. In our rooms there was a kettle and mugs for a hot drink, a bottle of water and a small jar of biscuits. Small touches which were so appreciated. Even a strong hairdryer was provided in our room - perfect!

I had a nice chat with Elisabetta and offered some suggestions - maybe some milk in the mini bars in the rooms; a sign over the light switch for the top of the stairs (we had not been able to find it). Truly, the only thing that would stop me from returning was the stairs. There is no lift or chair lift, so not a good place for those with arthritic knees and older bones!! Lugging a suitcase up and down the stairs was a challenge. If there was a chairlift or lift, I would most certainly return!! However, I really do recommend this lovely place.

Great, central location, at the beginning of the main city walk (Porta Messina), also a minute walk from the shuttle bus stop (the one that runs from Lumbi Parking where you should leave your car, as Taormina has so called ZTL). Room was well equipped (tea, kettle, bottled water), nice, clean and cosy. Our room windows were facing the main city walk, some shops are playing music until 10pm, audible through closed window but not annoying, besides, most of the day we spent in the city where you'll hear urban noise anyway. Classic sweet italian breakfast was served but also savory options were prepared (some hams and cheese). Cantine got very nice view on northern part of the city, sea and some mountains. Personel was very helpful and kind.

Everything was fine.

Lovely place to stay - stylish and comfortable, clean room, central location with quick and easy access to everything (main street, car park, shuttle bus). Most friendly and helpful staff making sure you feel welcomed, advising on all important stuff and serving great Italian breakfast experience (the social time on top of the delicious food). Many thanks, can’t wait to come back!

Everything was perfect for us but it’s probably worth mentioning that due to the centre location and restaurants nearby the night silence started around 11 PM - after that night was perfectly quiet and undisturbed.
