Great breakfast buffet and comfortable rooms.

There are 37 outside steps to navigate to reach this hotel. I had a difficult time negotiating these stairs.

Amazing view from room, breakfast area, and mostly everwhere from the hotel. On my wifes birthday we found a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket with 2 champagne glasses, which was very nice of them to give free of charge. All staff are very well trained and give amazing service. The hotels location is probably one of the best as its within walking distance (3 to 4 min) to the most popular street Corso Umberto.

Our room was on the sixth floor which is right underneath the restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, so if you dont wake up by 6.45am, its probably the worst place as it gets noisy after that time as you can hear the trolleys and chairs moving.

nice room and good views. the breakfast is excellent. staff really nice. the swimming pool and the facilities are beautiful. The location is really good to stay in the upper Taormina.

just one elevator for a big hotel. No parking in the hotel and the access by car is difficult. you have to park in a different parking lot, and it’s quite far away( apart from the 15€/day). they should offer at least a shuttle bus to the parking. the need to improve a little bit the bath. it’s very narrow.

great location and views, rooms were comfortable but showers are super tiny . the shower overflowed on Day1, but they cleaned it up quickly. Staff was very professional and worked hard to please.

No parking but nearby. Couldn’t take bags to hotel directly. Someone had to pick up and transport since no parking and difficult access. For exit, they could get bags to top of hill but we still had to transport through narrow streets for several blocks.

This was our third stay in Monte Tauro and definitely will be not the last,and very emotional.. This hotel have one of the best views in all Taormina but this is not the most impressive one,this hotel have one AMAZING STAFF FROM THE FIRST TIILL THE LAST!!THEY ARE NOT ONLY A STAFF THEY ARE LIKE FAMILY! We never met so helpful and humans people! Location was great for proximity to shops and restaurants but a big walk to the beach. We used the cable car for our return to avoid the steep and long uphill walk. Breakfast offered a broad variety and great views. Compliments to the breakfast staff who were very friendly and helpful.

Overall was not bad but looking at value for money was expensive. Like many hotels in Italy we found were in need of repair work. Shame the pool was closed by 6pm and day 3 of our stay.November 1 the pool was closed completely for early Winter. The photos on the website are not indicative of the Junior suite we had and not well planned or styled.TV was in the bedroom and the lounge/desk area had inadequate lighting for reading/working. We chose this thinking we would have more floorspace but the design of divided rooms made it feel crammed. perhaps better suited f or a family This hotel came highly recommended by a friend but we were rather disappointed on this visit.

They upgraded us to a junior suite, it was a very large room, very clean and the view was beautiful, the terrace large. The facility was very nice, it was in walking distance from the town, however, it is up a very steep hill so for people not in shape, or with mobility issues, this is not the place for you, also, it is not actually on the beach you have to walk about half a mile through town to get to the cable car to take you to the beach. However, the town is absolutely wonderful, upscale shops, restaurants. They have valet parking for an extra fee for the car, and the tours could pick us up right at the top of the hill

The breakfast was ok but nothing great

Mid sized room with fantastic views, a terrace and good sized pool a short (uphill) walk into Taormina. Eurostars has 8 floors with the reception on the top floor and a glass open elevator takes you down to the room floors and bottom floor is pool. I read the reviews before booking this location and I would say it exceeded my expectations. While yes some things were a little dated in terms of hotel design, I found the ample variety at breakfast, attentive and friendly staff, daily cleaning of room and pool (larger than Belmond Timeo) was much appreciated during the heatwave we experienced.

To walk into town you need to walk up a very steep narrow street incline maybe 50 steps and paved to reach the restaurants and shops of Taormina which is itself a lot of steps. We knew this when booking so it was expected. The main elevator broke the day before we checked out.

Amazing views, spotlessly clean, perfect location, good amenities, excellent air conditioning, staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, complimentary water & fruit in reception, very modern, option of having meals at the hotel. Great pool attendants who were firm with rules. Overall a touch of luxury!

No iron in the room but do have a chargeable ironing service, not enough sunbeds by the pool & they filled up quite quickly especially as we went more into the summer. Very steep slope with option of steps outside the hotel to get into the streets of Taormina itself.

The location is superb compared to the other hotels. Its quiet with no cars passing by and the views are spectacular. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and passion in what they do. It was a big surprise in finding a bottle of chilled spumante in the room on arrival. Much appreciated.

Nothing. However I would suggest having teaspoons in the room for coffee and a better selection of hot beverages and fresh fruit platters by the pool bar. Also the use of the pool for children should be at specific times so as to allow other people to enjoy some quiet time.
