Great value for little money. The locations was close to the center and the room was big enough for two people who are outdoors the whole day anyway. it was very clean and the shower had a lot of power. I personally thought the bathroom was very spacious with lots of storage area and natural light (big, non-seethrough window). There was an AC, which was perfect for this extremely hot weather outside. Room was bright. the curtains were very thick, so good for keeping the light/heat out.

I personally don't like cold light (like neon light), so that made it feel a bit unfriendly at night. the beds were a little too easy to relocate (slidey bed frame, not best for cuddeling), but manageable. I personally prefer real (puffy) duvets, we "just" had blankets. I would have needed a bin not only in the bathroom, but also the bedroom. yeah, the street gets loud in the morning, but we had earplugs. I would have loved to also have sheer curtains. toilet seat had the wrong size, slides too much off the ceramics.

Location is excellent for the price. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's basic, don't expect a chambermaid service nor breakfast, you make your own beds when you get there but that's why the price is relatively low. Wifi was fine. Plenty of very hot water at all times. Our room (101) was the first room you arrive at on the first floor which was handy as there is no lift, and it meant we didn't experience of the reported noise from adjoining rooms as it's on the end of building.

We had to ask for extra sheets and pillows as not enough were provided to begin with. The shower is very small.

The hotel is absolutely worth the budget! The reception staff were very friendly and always ready to help. A huge plus for having the opportunity to leave your things. We left Trieste late in the evening, so I was able to not think about my luggage for the whole day after check-out. The rooms are clean, the shared bath and shower were also very clean. Internet worked well. I liked the hotel!

It is a vey nice budget hotel. Very clean and very good location. It is also a walking distance from the central train station (15 minutes' walk).

Accoustics of this place is terrible.... If your neighbours chooses to watch tv, you will have to listen with them... If they should choose something else, you are part of action as well... :-(

Great location, close to many places where you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, plenty of places are open until late for a drink. Simple, but very clean room. Friendly staff.

My room had an air conditioner, which really helped with reducing the street noise from passing cars, but it would keep turning on and off all night long, making a lot of noise.

The house is a typical house from around 1880 built to accommodate seaman etc.. Thus no elevator but and original house that makes Triest different from other Italian cities. The location is nice since a pedestrian zone is close and offers many restaurants.

The beds were not comfortable. Also the construction to put a third bed over the other two does not work well since one hits his head sooner or later, sadly also when waking up.

It is a great location, near great bars and restaurants. It is sparkling clean with 24h reception and very nice hosts.

It is very loud, the room has only very basic stuff and you get packed sheets and pillowcase to make beds on your own.

It gets what you need, a place to sleep by yourself in the center of trieste. Friendly personal and fairly good rooms.

Well, some sounds were pretty well heard from the hallway in the night, nothing else to complain about really.

The check-in was Quick and easy due to the very kind staff who spoke english very well. The room was clean, bed was comfy. The ac worked wonders. Price was a bit lower due to having to make the bed yourself which was fine.

The water drained quite slow in the shower, which was not very nice however I'm assuming this happens not very often.

This is a great hotel with good prices and even better stage , just remember it has no elevator, but as for me it’s no problem , clean , comfortable, quite , far better than expected , highly recommended, would have no hesitation booking again , thank you hotel Istria for a great stay :-)
