The view was spectacular. the home cooked breakfast made specifically for you with delicious and offered eggs which is a treat. The location was great right in Old Town, and most specifically Monica was so knowledgeable, helpful and kind. ( and speaks Great English)

There wasn't anything negative, but just a note, when you arrive I suggest you drive as close to the location as possible before you enter the TZL zone... unpack your things. It is a blue stripe area, but at this time of the year Off Season there's no charge after seven pm till 9 a.m. the next day. You can easily move to free parking which the owner will Direct you to once you've unloaded.

We stayed at Sunset Tropea and selected the room based on the beautiful view and location. The host was very helpful to help us find free parking a 5 min walk away after we dropped our bags. The view is the best thing about the place. The breakfast was pretty nice too.

This is a B&B rather than a hotel room. It is an apartment which has been converted to rentable rooms. Our room opened up straight up to the kitchen which was also the entrance room, so when you come out of your room you are straight in the arrival room. So felt a little more like a hostel. But again the view on our balcony made up for this.

Location was amazing! We had an unobstructed view of the sunsets, ocean and islands from our balcony. It was close to main streets with restaurants and shops etc, which meant it was easy to access everything we needed. Monica was lovely, accommodating and helpful. She recommended places to eat and tried to assist with bookings etc. Breakfast included from our balcony was an added bonus- she cooked for us and brought it in at our selected time. So lovely 😍

While the location was perfect, the room itself was a tight squeeze with two adults and their suitcases. Bathroom was huge though!

Sunset Tropea is a wonderful, romantic location with a beautiful view of the water. The pictures of the balcony and view don't lie. You can hear the waves crashing. Watch people down below. Close to the old city and a great place to relax. Host is very friendly. Facility nicely renovated and clean. The room is best for two people. We have two small children (age 4 & 7) and it was a tight squeeze, but we made it work. The sofa bed was great for the children. It had a mattress underneath to provide more space for each child. I was looking forward to the continental (Italian) breakfast, as shown in the pictures, but I assume it being winter season our host provided a made-to-order breakfast. The breakfast was good and made with care. I loved having the water filling station in the kitchen. When we needed plates, napkins or the use of microwave, we could easily access the kitchen. We couldn't hear any other sounds from surrounding rooms. The host, Monica, was easy to communicate with and helped provide suggestions for dinner when we were walking around.

I was looking forward to the continental (Italian) breakfast, as shown in the pictures, but I assume it being winter season our host provided a made-to-order breakfast. When you enter the B&B there is a shared space. The kitchen area. Then you are welcomed to your room. Since we have children we always look for kitchen appliances to make our own meals or snacks because kids are kids. In the description it states, "A dishwasher, a fridge and stovetop are also available." This area was not totally available for us to use. Only a few things, but don't bring food to cook. It is not an area you are allowed to use for cooking.

The location is on those famous cliffs of Tropea. It’s up a couple flights of stairs in an older building. We had a room with a balcony, superior double. It’s squeezy but didn’t worry us too much. Amazing views. There is a shared kitchen area where you can make coffee anytime. There was also a kettle in the room. Very quiet and comfortable to sleep. Feels safe. Breakfast is brought to your room in the morning, we had coffees, biscuits, eggs, croissants and fruit. All very nice. Very quaint surrounding streets. We ate at a takeaway pizza/arancini place, it’s on the main street east to find, also panini at michele market just down street. The Christmas lights were on around town and it was so pretty. We walked from the train station, about 10 mins, longer on way back because uphill.

Outstanding B&B in the best possible location in Tropea. Beautiful, clean room (Stromboli) with the most amazing view. Monica was an excellent hostess who brought us breakfast each morning to have on the balcony. While the B&B is close to perfect, Monica adds that extra special touch and will make your stay outstanding. Catarina is also a wonderful lady who helps run this little gem.

Nothing. Everything was perfect and I would definitely stay here again.

This place is overlooking the sea and has great views of the monastery, as the name describes perfect for watching the sunset, the bars and restaurants are in abundance and the food is amazing, the old town is lovely. Monica came in daily and made breakfast, was happy to do more than the usual croissant and coffee, just need to tell her the day before what you want and she is so lovely and welcoming. Tropea is so beautiful and a lovely place to relax.

Monica made us very welcome and looked after us very well. Our breakfast was bought to us daily by Monica , which we ate on the balcony, overlooking the sea. Lovely personal service.

There were a few things that need attention. The mirror on the wall was held up with white tape and the flooring in places could do with replacing. The balcony could do with a lick of paint as it was quite rusty. Everything else 👍

At 1st I was getting frustrated getting my question about parking answered. I was not able to contact anyone. Could be because of dialing from US. But once I was able to make contact...everything fell into place! Monica, the hostess at the B&B was magnificent. Breakfast was fantastic and any questions you had, if she didn't know the answer she researched it. Monica was fabulous. The view from our room was breathtaking. The location was central to everything. Room was spotless! I want to come back next year and stay a week this time.

Absolutely nothing to complain about!

First, I'll mention Monica! A superb host, simple, accessible, and accommodating, she's fantastic! The view from the room is incredible, and it's lovely to have breakfast on the terrace, which Monica also prepares. Please note that the apartment is located in a ZTL (zona traffico limitato), so if you're arriving by car, you'll have to park it a bit farther away (about 10 minutes on foot). The room is tidy and clean, the bed is comfortable, and the air conditioning cools excellently. The nearby stairs lead directly to the beach, which has both private sunbeds and public free areas. The sea is very clean.
