We added breakfast for 10 EUR each and it was really great (not only by Italian, but by European standards). Location absolutely perfect if you arrive by train or bus. Staff very attentive. Cleanliness We mentioned that we would arrive in Udine already around 9.30 am and staff made it possible to check-in and get our room already at 10 am.

Wi-Fi in our room never worked (when we were in the lobby or on the balcony during breakfast, it worked fine)

The hotel is very conveniently located close to the railway station as well as to the center of Udine. Yet it's on a very calm street. We had a decent sized comfortable room with a spacious bathroom. We've stayed there in February and the room was well heated, which is not always the case in Italy. There is a small convenience store right next door as well as big supermarkets within walking distance. I can absolutely recommend Ambassador Palace.

We liked the room and the location extremely well. The building is historic and handsome. We wanted to hear the history but the person in reception was vague. Breakfast was elegant and delicious, flowers on buffet table.

The shower was troublesome…would not stay in position. Of note, one person in reception was not friendly, hauteur in manner. The younger one was very nice.

Nice friendly hotel with a small bar and restaurant. The location is good. Approx 15-20 mins walk into the old town / Square. Staff were friendly and spoke English. Rooms were nice and bed comfy with a couple of English tc channels also. Good breakfast for 10 euros. We didn't eat in restaurant in hotel as we walked into the town which was lovely (very christmassy). Would use again for business. Very good rates.

The hotel is clean. With very good localisation. 9mins to the center of the city. The service is on the very high level. Great support with the restaurant and with the breakfast. Italian coffee is really the best in the class...

Not nice delicate smell in the bathroom. Noise outside the building (5am garbage service with a heavy truck) but i guess it's normal....

Breakfast was excellent. Very attentive staff, good selection and often refreshed. The hotel is a short walk into the old town. On site parking was a real plus. Personnel were marvelous. We requested a suggestion for a restaurant and they were very helpful. Even the guy who assisted us to park the car was brilliant.

Following a recent trend in hotels the bed linen has been "upgraded". We would encourage the hotel management to spend a week sleeping using these sheets. They are not breathable and therefore too warm.

Excellent shower and water pressure...better than 4 star hotels in Venice and Trieste. Simple, clean, large room. Restaurant and bar availability was a plus.

Walls are thin. Neighboring man talked very loudly on his phone. Lucky for him, we don't understand such rapid Italian... Porters tried to be helpful but it took three tries each time to get-it-right.

I appreciated that this lovely hotel accepted my dog. I would suggest, however, that they have a sign or communicate at check-in that dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant for breakfast. It would have avoided the uncomfortable confrontation. The server was trying to be nice when telling me to take the dog away, but I'm just saying that it could have been avoided.

Everything is great. Very convenient location. Super friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and food in the restaurant.

There was a strange smell in our room which no one was able to fix. We were able to tolerate it and stay in the room. We also had the room next door for our kids and that was just fine.

Very kind and informative staff, good breakfast (omelettes and fried eggs are charged separately - why?) on a really nice terrace towards a park. close to city center (5 minutes walk). Electric car charging works well! Only one charger, make sure the space is reserved for you!!! Low capacity, you need almost the full night to charge.
