An excellent location - close to the city centre with lots of restaurants but also closer to the bus and train stations. We stayed 7 nights exploring the area by public transport and it worked very well. Dany was a perfect host welcoming us with a glass of wine and nibbles on the balcony. She provided a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs/ omelette, yogurt and fruits and her own homemade cakes and bread all served on the roof terrace. Nothing was too much trouble for her! We stayed in the triple room overlooking the courtyard and it was very quiet and we slept well. There was a kettle and tea and coffee in the corridor for making your own drinks at anytime. The whole place had a wonderful ambiance and we would highly recommend it.

Where to start 😄 Dany was an absolutely amazing hostess (not only did she serve us cold lemonade, water, wine, and served us cakes, but she also told us exactly what to see in Udine to have the best time) and the room was absolutely stunning. A huge added bonus was a lovely terrace on the roof of the building and the close proximity to the city center + Netflix for anyone who isn’t keen on watching Italian channels ☺️

The only real negative was that there were no screens to keep out mosquitoes and other bugs if you wanted fresh air during the night. But apart from that, I can’t say anything negative and if we got to Udine again (hopefully), I won’t want to stay anywhere else.

Dana - the host - is a truly lovely person, that will answer all your questions, give you some where-to-go tips and make everything to make your stay excellent. The apartment is located close to the city center, there is no a dedicated parking spot, but this is not a problem - there's plenty of free parking places along the street, we were able to park just in front of the entrance doors to the building. The room is equiped in everything you need, A/C is there as well - thanks to this we survived when outside was 30+ Celcius. There is a nice terrace available for guests.

Entrance to the toilet is separate in the corridor - it's just a small inconvinience as it is not covered by the room's A/C.

Dani was definitely the best host we've had so far. Everything went smoothly and communication with her was perfect. She baked us a small cake as a welcome gift, prepared coffee and refreshments, which was really awesome. In the morning, coffee was waiting for us on the roof terrace and she was so heartwarming. Rooms as they are are stylish and historic, the building is over 130 years old. Don't get me wrong it's really comfy, however due to the age it might get a little bit noisy from outside at times. Otherwise everything was excellent!

Noise from the street was at moments overwhelming, but it's nothing unusual.

The host explained that there was no hot water which was fine because of circumstances beyond her control (the weather). She gave the option to cancel but that wasn't possible with a few hours notice.

extraordinary hopitality, authentic atmosphere, great price-performance ratio. nice terrace, delicious homemade breakfast. the room is in a flat on the 3th floor. less than 15 minutes to walk to the train station and the main attractions of the city. supermarket 5 minutes, good bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. thank u dany!

Dany was a wonderful host and made our stay feel very special. She prepared a delicious breakfast and made sure we were fully satisfied with our room. The room itself was spatious, the bed was very confortable, the bathroom was small but fully functional. We could park our car very easily on the street in front of the building.

(Minor) Be aware that three floors need to be climbed to reach the apartment. The toilets are located outside the room, which can be a bit cold to reach during winter nights.

The room was immaculately clean, spacious, and the atmosphere was very relaxing at this hotel. The host has a very amiable and accomodating personality.The breakfast was delicious and cooked with the organic ingredients. All the sightseeing such as udine castle,Museum,shopping centres etc. are on a walking distance. I have found The Liberty Terrace a very good value of Money ,and I highly recommend it!

We liked everything. The appartement is beautiful, with beautiful terrace, all is superclean, beds are confortable. The owner of the appartement is very welcoming and nice person, also giving great recommendation for eating outside. She also accepted our dog to stay with us.

We have been to many Booking.com facilities in our travels. The Liberty Terrace was exceptional mainly because Dany was the kindest of hosts. She made sure all our questions were answered and frequently checked to make sure if we needed anything. Thank you, Dany, for making Udine special.
