Excellent location close to a vaporetto stop with links to the airport as well as the main routes on the grand canal Was able to leave my luggage as I didn't leave until the afternoon, which was really helpful. Had lots of clear communication with the host before I arrived and whilst in Venice. The small kitchen facilities were useful, I used the sandwich toaster and, of course, the fridge.

We had our own breakfast. The location was good, 5min from the water us station. Grocery store and restaurants near by. The room was spacious and very clean.

The hostess wanted us out before the agreed 11 O'clock. She spoke no English which made communication difficult. There were not two single beds like we wished but one double bed. This was fixed the first night and everything was fine after this. Minor problems.

location, location, location!!! this space is set less than 1 minute from the main vaporetto line. it is only 4 stops from the train station, and the alilaguna express (airport shuttle boat) also goes directly to the stop next to the apartment. the price was amazing compared to other places closer to piazza san Marco but really in Venice piazza San Marco is never more than 20 minutes away. our area was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. there is an amazing restaurant around the corner called Mocenigo as well with an incredible truly Italian atmosphere. the host is very communicative and friendly as well!

honestly the only thing is the size - the room we had was small but still comfortable for two friends to stay. and really, who is going to Venice to stay in their room?? truly there was nothing I didn't like about this place!

Room was bigger than expected, better than in pictures. Super big shower and washroom and double size bed. There is a small kitchen in the room, we didn't use it but is still cool. Microwave and fridge also there. They provide with tea and coffee powder in case you want to drink something. Waterbus stop is "San stae", which is direct to San Marcos square and the centre, that is perfect. Previous communication with host is appreciated. He contacted us on WhatsApp to give us information and the code for the main door so we could enter ourselves at the accommodation directly. We didn't see anyone during our stay...nice place if you are looking for privacy and come and go as you please!!!

Not much, we did see some ants around the sink in the kitchen area. But we closed the closet where the small kitchen was and it was ok. But maybe they need to put something there to kill the insects. Anyways, is ok. And also they did have WiFi but wasn't working properly upstairs, even though it was ok for us because we weren't going there to use internet. But is something to have in consideration...

The location is perfectly in the center of island. . Everything is in equal walking distance and there is a vapperato stop and supermarket close by. The room has some extra amenities like a small sink, refrigerator, microwave, kettle and some cutlery to make life a lot easier esp. if you are travelling with kids. The bathroom even has a bidet.

The bathroom and shower head is small but that is expected from old buildings. Things are rusty here and there.

A good sized room in a central location. The blinds ensure it's dark and quiet at night which is great as that's not always the case for Venice. A friendly host and good facilities available in the room including a small kitchen area.

The code provided didn't work on arrival, but thankfully host was around the corner and let me in. Kettle was marked as not safe to use so had to use the microwave which does the job of boiling water for tea

Good location, close to San Stae Vaporetto, in a quiet alley. Spacious room with all the necessary things. Airco was not working on arrival, but the owner fixed it as soon as possible.

Although the owner lives downstairs, he only communicates via WhatsApp, which is a bit complicated. He also tends to send messages late in the evening, for example on the last evening at 23:30 to ask - with an exclaimed mark ! - when I was going to pay, although the payment was already done via booking.com. This I found a bit uncomfortable.

B&B Venice 1964 was in a quiet location very close to the ACTV San Stae waterbus stop. The only other transport option (apart from water taxi which is not really financially practical) is on foot.

Unless you have a good sense of direction you will need an ACTV waterbus pass. Otherwise you'll need to be a good walker. The two closest bridges across the Grand Canal the Scalzi Bridge and the Rialto Bridge are a fair walk, but then thats what you come to Venice for.

Perfect place with everything needed for a great stay! It is in a very quiet aria and on a walking distance from Piazza San Marco. Vaporetto station is nearby if you don’t want to walk. Manager Nicola was very helpful! I was travelling with my children for Venice carnival .We enjoyed our stay in B&B Venice 1964! Even when Vinece was overflowed with tourists this place was quiet. When the small one was tired we easily took the vaporetto.

Room was clean, had AC and had a nice sized bathroom and shower. Very close to the San Stae vaporetto stop. Quiet street. Owner would respond very quickly and is very helpful and friendly.

No wifi and my regular data was slow. There is nothing around... No restaurants or shops. No a huge deal since you are in central Venice and can get there quickly.
