Beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet, convenient canal - facing location. Located 5 minutes walk from St Lucia train station and major ferry stops provided easy access on arrival and transport to all significant tourist spots within Venice. Friendly staff and comfortable size room with generous breakfast buffet provided and access to a sunny private courtyard. We were fortunate to have been upgraded to a canal view room, which provided an incredible experience for us. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

The location is simply perfect. The bus station is so close by. The Grand Canal is literally 10 yards away. The train station is not far off. We had a great room with the canal view. The options at break fast were plenty and fresh. The granola and coffee at breakfast especially were very good quality. The room was of a very good size with the canal view, as we requested. The bathroom was very clean and all facilities worked as expected. With the window open, it felt very fresh inside.

Our room were was a very good sized double bedroom. But unfortunately the mattress was not a double bed mattress, it was two single mattresses put together. This was not ideal. The softness/hardness of the mattress could also be improved as I had a stiff back in the morning each day. The breakfast could have more fresh fruit options, especially of seasonal fruits, like berries etc in spring/summer. But these things did not take away anything from the satisfaction level of my stay.

Very comfortable bed, good water pressure and stable water temperature in the shower. Good breakfast for Italy (decent savoury selection - boiled eggs, ham, cheese, tomatoes + various sweet fare, yogurts and fresh fruits). I was able to borrow plug adapter at reception at no charge. Excellent location - 3 min walk from bus station, 1 min from Grand Canal. I can recommend without hesitation.

Wi-Fi slow at times. I’d love to have kettle in the room or a bar to get evening tea but thus is unlikely in Italy.

Charming hotel , with comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms. The bed was super comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect, just 4 minutes walk from the Piazzalle Roma for coming or going to the airport and train station. The stuff were very friendly and kind. Special thanks to the front desk personnel. The hotel is open 24/7, which was great because I had a late night flight. And they also have a luggage storage, so I walked wandered in Venice before my next flight. I had a very lovely stay at hotel Gardena and will definitely come back. Very much recommend it.

It canal view and good location as it is walk-able from the train station. Just be ready if you have big luggages as you have to cross bridges. I thought the hotel is old based on pics but actually is modern (deco).

None! We loved the stay even though it was only one night. It might take a lot of walk (15-25mins) going to more tourist destinations (Rialto Bridge, Doge Palace) but it was a good experience to walk in the bridges of Venice.

I liked everything about this hotel, the position by the water, the arrangement, the furniture, the cleanliness, the attention to the small details, good breakfast, very varied and tasty!

Very close to the train station. Very convinient for those who are arriving and leaving the city by train. Very close to the buses for Marco Polo airport and very close to the boat stop. Many restaurants and supermarkets around. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were checked in before the check-in time and still got an upgrade. Very beautiful hotel. It seems that it was recently renovated. Big and confortable room. Tasty breakfast. Just perfect.

It's a little far away from San Marco square, where is the main touristic area, but walking through Venice is an unique experience, so it was not an issue at all.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The property is very well maintained and welcoming. Our room was a nice size and had everything we needed. I loved the mural on the wall. The property is in a very good location, near the bus station (where we arrived) and the train station (from which we departed) and vaporetto (which we rode) but it also seemed to be in a nice part of Venice. There were a number of places to eat and some shops that were not the usual tourist stuff. It was an easy walk to the other parts of Venice we wanted but it did not feel overly crowded our touristy by the hotel. The breakfast was excellent with good coffee and service.

The internet was just a bit slower than we expected. I was able to do everything I needed to do, like check in with work and watch a video I needed to watch, but the wait times for page loading were longer than average.

The staff is welcoming, they have a small elevator which is very useful for traveller with a luggage like me, the location is great, convenient yet quiet. They room is big and the breakfast is good especially the coffee made by the lovely lady!

Our top floor canal view was a dream come true. Sunsets from our window, quiet and spacious too. Location was terrific being close to the train station and bus stop to Airport. Tucked around corner of the Grand Canal so lovely to see Venice busy and bustling from our double windows. Walking distance to everything ambling through laneways and snapping great photos. Staff so lovely and helpful too. Thankyou very much. Ciao 😊

Not everyone's need but when we are tired and relaxing after a big day it would be great to have one TV channel in English. All channels were in Italian so we watched House n Garden in Italian. Quite funny. We couldn't watch the news too hard 🙃 Breakfast was basic and some more options would be great like some bacon and eggs and fresh cuts of watermelon or pineapple. But we got by on Salami and cheese.
