everything was just perfect! superb location in the very center of the town. extremely friendly and helpful staff. the room aida was absolutely fabulous. the breakfast fulfilled all needs. valet parking worked very well. all in all it was a 10/10 stay.

there was nothing at all

The location, the morning breakfast- the best we have ever seen, and the most accommodating staff at the front desk and the dining room.

Our only disappointment was that we thought that the property had a rooftop terrace for all guests, it is actually one of the two reasons we chose the property. There were many photos on the website and we imagined sitting there in the evenings with a fabulous view of Verona. Only after we checked in did we find out that the amenity was part of a top floor suite and not available for general use. While we should have dug deeper into the website, the property should consider less attention to this limited facility. Other than this, we were extremely satisfied with our stay!

We are delighted about our stay at the hotel. The hotel is situated at a prime and central location, close to the beautiful Arena. The neighborhood is lively (especially on nights of opera) yet the hotel is very quiet (ideally in a small street). Breakfast is amazing, the best we ever had in Italy. Served at beautiful terrace, with very friendly staff. Fresh products, wide variety and excellent coffee. All staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The room itself is very stylish, offers all modern comfort and has great beds. What's more, the hotel offers free bikes for guests, a great service which we have used all days.

nothing - the hotel management is great

Location is outstanding, stepping out of the door you are basically in the center of the city. Small downside is that as a result, access via car is a bit tricky. You have to navigate very narrow streets including shopping streets where people are walking. There is no parking at the hotel but the hotel has a one car spot in front of it (10m past the door) where you can park, go inside and notify your arrival, and then they offer valet parking to a garage one kilometer away (so don´t forget anything in the car) and it costs 35 euros overnight. I highly recommend trying the restaurant, it´s very nice and their calamary/shrimp main course was to die for, without doubt the best I have ever had. We had a little bit of and language misunderstanding with one of the waiters when I asked for a Cuba Libre which he did not understand. I explained "rum and coke and lime if you have it". He came back a little later saying "we have finish rum" to which I of course replied that I did not care where the rum was from, suspecting he was trying to say they were out of rum, which is ridiculous. A little joke at his expense and it made the wife laugh which was worth it. Long story short, and one bad cocktail later (Negroni), a waiter named Daniel came around and said it was bullocks that they had not rum and brought me a couple of the best Cuba Libre I have ever had. Daniel was outstanding the whole evening.

The room is just the right size for a few nights and even has a big wardrobe which, by the way, is the about the same size as the bathroom. I'm guessing this is why the hotel is only 3 star, the size of the bathroom, and especially the shower which is about the size of an IKEA children's closet. It does not help that the shower doors swing out in the middle and the shower "controls" are located also in the middle instead at either end. This makes maneuvering inside the shower practically impossible without either hitting the water control nobs (changing the temperature) or pushing the doors open so the floor WILL GET FLOODED.

Breakfast was fantastic. We were able to leave luggage while we explored after checkout on the last day. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Found all staff very helpful. Location of the hotel is perfect, so close to the main piazza and the arena. Would 100% recommend.

Nothing major, the wine bar outside the front of the hotel was busy and quite loud on the night we arrived (Friday) but the other nights didn't hear it at all. Not really a big deal and nothing the hotel itself could help.

The location is superb, just 100m from the central piazza and the arena. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was a good size with a walk-in shower. Breakfast was good, buffet style with plenty of choice. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We used public transport throughout our stay. The bus and train stations are fifteen minutes walk from the hotel so very convenient. A bonus was that the hotel provides free use of its own bicycles and we are keen cyclists so we took full advantage of this facility.

One problem! The hotel is located on a narrow street and immediately across the road is a bar which gets very busy at night with lots of noisy young people drinking outside on the pavement. This went on every night until nearly midnight. Our first floor room faced on to this bar. My advice would be that if you do decide to stay here and I would certainly recommend that you do request a room at the back of the hotel to avoid sleepless nights. Our room was No 104.

Don't look any further. This is the hotel to stay at. Amazing! Check in was super easy. Pay at check out. Our room and bathroom were very spacious (room 224) and clean. Hotel has 4 levels. Elevator available. The staff is super friendly and will help with any questions or recommendations. The AC works great and is programmable. The hotel has free bike rental. Breakfast starts at 7:30. You can sit inside or outside. Amazing breakfast. Everything you can think off: pancakes, hardboiled eggs, fresh honey (yes, they have a honey comb), salami, prosciutto, ham, mortadella, brie, other cheeses, jams, cakes, and other pastries, mini croissants, cereal, cantaloupe, pineapple, watermelon, dark and white bread, various juices, and great strong coffee. You can't beat the location. Literally 30 seconds from the Arena di Verona and Piazza Bra and main shopping area (Mazzini). 5 min walk to Piazza delle Erbe (Market) where you can buy souvenirs, clothes and is located right in front of the lombardi tower which is the tallest tower in Verona at 83 meters. Take a little Verona tour train ride (meets @ 2 arches with the clock). Restaurant and food recommendations: Verona is known for Pastissada de caval (horse stew) and risotto amarone. Very delicious if you are up to be a little bit more adventurous. Great restaurant to try either one of them is Ristorante Greppia. To eat the best tiramisu in town, go to Ristrorante Nastro Azzurro (open 12-11pm). Most restaurants close at 2:30 and reopen at 7pm for dinner. You have to try Spritzer Aperol - prosecco, aperol, ice cubes, and soda water. Very refreshing and not too strong. You will find lots and lots of gelato stores - so delicious. If you have time and want to see other areas, I recommend Venice by train (1 hour and 25 minutes) or Lake Garda by train (22 min). Can't forget the Arena di Verona. 2100 years old and is one of the best outdoor arenas. We watched the Turandot Opera performance there and it was spectacular.

Fantastic location, very comfortable room beautifully decorated, a wide selection of options for breakfast.

No bottled water in the room apart from what was in the mini bar (with no price list). I enquired about an airport transfer (€45), the receptionist suggested she could just call a taxi but she didn’t know how much this would cost, we went for this option and it turns out that there is a set charge of €30.

Excellent location near the arena and air conditioning that actually cooled to desired temperature. While the hotel is located near a lot of outside activity, there was no issue with noise penetrating our suite. We had the suite with private rooftop patio and Jacuzzi tub, which was clean and absolutely amazing! We would definitely stay in that suite again. Overall, this hotel was the highlight of all the 5 hotels we stayed at during this 2.5 week vacation.

Not a major issue, but the wifi didn't reach our rooftop patio. It also would have been nice if the young gentleman at the front desk would smile more - not sure he enjoys interfacing with the public. Everyone else was most pleasant.

Central location. The hotel was spotless, room was pretty and staff all friendly and helpful. We loved our stay. This a great hotel and it exceeded our expectations.

Only critique would be no blind or curtain on the bathroom window. We were high up and so I don’t think anyone could see from street below but we weren’t sure about the building opposite. We hung a towel over the window so problem solved easily.
