We had a wonderful time in Verona and the hotel was superb, the location could not have been better. The beds were very comfy. The staff was excellent, very welcoming and helpful! The parking at the hotel was very handy to keep our rental car overnight.

The bathtub and a shower need upgrading to meet todays expectations from a superb hotel. The bathroom itself was very good and roomy, but the bathtub was narrow and the position of the shower on the wall was very awkward.

The hotel is ideally located to reach all local restaurants and sites and 20 mins or so from the airport. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. We had a room with a balcony at the front of the hotel - even though outside was vibrant, once the windows were shut it was relaxingly silent.

The staff was very friendly, professional, helpful and proactive. The atmosphere was relaxed. The room was clean and comfortable. At breakfast I had the opportunity to chose among different products inspire being lactose intolerant.

We liked the old-world charm of the hotel. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was varied and good. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and looked out onto what we thought would be a quiet street. It was actually very noisy nights and mornings, with people dropping their glass and other recycling in the wee hours - Also had an electrical circuit issue - for some reason the fuse tripped in the middle of the night so our devices were not charged in the morning.

The customer service was exceptional they knew us and treated us like old friends. The facility is beautiful, clean, and in a fantastic location. The linens, and beds were great. We had an inside/courtyard view room which was to our liking as it was quiet. The ac worked well the bathroom was large and well appointed.

They do not offer any free water in the room. It seemed silly to me to charge for water for a property of this quality. Water is available in town everywhere for $1 or $1.50 euro. One bottle per person would have been nice and consistent with a property of this quality. As the breakfast was included, with plenty of water, this seemed off to me.

All the staff members are very kind and helpful. The ladies working at the restaurant at breakfast time are also nice and friendly, At least this is the case as far as the three I met are concerned. As said, the bed is very comfortable. likewise the table desk at the room is comfortable. Notwithstanding that, the chair was too low, what makes one be in a bad posture. I should have asked for a taller one but I had no strength to do so. The bedroom has two doors. That's a great advantage, insofar as it helps considerably to the isolation of the room as to the possible noise coming from the corridor.

The breakfast was not very varied. For instance, there are no sweet fruits. The apples offered are all sour. Besides, there are no dried dates or plumps.

It was attractive to look at, was very near the arena and other sights, was quiet and clean, and the staff looked after us well. Good and reliable lift.

Bed linen and towels need not have been changed so often (need to conserve water and energy) . Breakfasts could have been a little better eg not enough plain croissants or variety of plain rolls, but good coffee and service.

Perfect location, professional staff and private parking. Very clean hotel with old school charm (in a good way). The only minus are breakfast - very limited choice (for example, no salads at all, just tomatoes and cucumbers).

Excellent location, metres from the Roman amphitheater. The breakfast was good, but basic. The room was comfortable, overlooking a small courtyard and the bathroom had a Hydromassage shower.

The decor was a little dated, could be because of the buildings age. The hallway and stair carpets need repair or refitting before someone falls. I'm being very picky, it is a lovely hotel with the staff and location to enhance anyone's visit to Verona.

The Hotel Colombo d'Oro is very centrally located in downtown Verona and is therefore ideal for visiting the historic old town. The availability of a guest parking space is a big plus. The staff, especially at the front desk is pleasantly friendly and approachable, the breakfast is good. My room was absolutely clean.

It was quite warm during my stay and I tried to lower the room temperature for a comfortable night's sleep, but I couldn't. Not sure the air condition was working? The price for a single bed room outside the peak season was on the upper end... but well.... the location... ;-)
