I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is my go-to place to stay in the LA area, as it is centrally located, close to freeways, and close to good restaurants. It is clean, the surrounding area is good, and the parking area is safe. The rooms are nice, everything works, and clean. Never seen one insect.

I had some difficulties with the electronic key card unlocking the lock on the last visit. These problems were resolved quickly by the staff.

This was my first time staying at Mid-City Inn, and I have to tell you, I was very surprised, after reading some of the previous reviews that were negative, I didn't experience any of that, it was the opposite, everything went very well including the room, management, the location, the comfort level, definitely worth coming back

there's not much, not to like, everything went well, for the exemption of the occasional slam door or the neighbor that won't go to bed till 3 in the morning, which I guess you're always going to run into, aside from that it was a very pleasant experience.

My room was very clean and quiet. There was a beautiful hand painted mural on the ceiling of flying birds and clouds. I can only comment on parking during the week my stay was Monday-Thursday, but never had an issue with parking close to my room. Fridge was great. Tons of electrical connections. Felt safe, great location in a good neighborhood with restaurants close by and very easy freeway access. If you need to go to locations in various directions in the LA area, this location is roughly located in the middle of the metropolitan area.

Microwave plate did not rotate. AC occasionally made a fluttering sound, but not enough to disrupt sleep.

Super clean. Staff serviced my room everyday leaving a surprisingly good smell each time. Staff overly concerned and polite. Room very comfortable and pleasant.

Sunday's is some type of event. Pretty hard to stay in bed and rest but overall. Excellent.

Friendly and helpful front desk! Room was clean, quiet and very large; great water pressure; comfy bed with soft pillows; good location only half a block from Starbucks, 7-Eleven for snacks/drinks, a restaurant serving breakfast/lunch/dinner and liquor store across the street

That the lobby was close all the time,everything had to be processed through a window and since is a 3 floor hotel and the elevator not working, it should specify that.

Clean, spacious, good water pressure, comfortable mattress

Allows smoking so everywhere you go you smell smoke which makes it hard for a nonsmoking person to breathe…needs designated smoking area or to change to no smoking

It was very clean and the bedroom was very big and spacious. There was also a microwave and mini fridge.

The bed was VERY hard. Tossed and turned a lot because we couldn’t get comfortable on it. The TV also didn’t have many channels and when we went to the guide it would say “no information” on every channel

over all it was a great experience and clean.

When I arrived I rand the bell and no one came to the window. I had to call the landline in order for someone to respond. For a “non-smoking room”, the room smelled like cigarettes and there was burned holes on the sheets. while at check out, there was a woman ahead of me and she was having a personal conversation with the employee. Took a few min before the employee told her to move to the side so he can assist me.

I really liked that there was a refrigerator AND microwave. Other hotels I passed on booking with had one or the other....or NEITHER.

The beds are extremely hard. Not exaggerating at all but air mattresses are more comfortable. I could've had a better night's rest on the floor.
