The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms were a normal size. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great.

I didn't like that a shopping area called the Pavillion was located across the parking lot from our room. They began their trash removal each morning at 4:00 am and it went on for at least an hour which resulted in a lot of noise. Needless to say, it woke me up every morning. I would recommend getting a room on the other side on the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near a major shopping mall that has everything from a CVS and a supermarket to restaurants, coffee shops, and cafes. Within the hotel, there's a Starbucks, quiet areas to work, and a clean gym. The biggest reasons why my mother and I would come back are exceptional service provided by Djay and Stewart. They were incredibly nice, helped when there was a room issue, and helped when booking.com sent the wrong rate to the hotel. Both of those issues could've soured our experience, but they went out of their way to make sure my mother and I were taken care of.

A breakfast buffet versus a custom breakfast. My mom and I ended up having to leave the hotel to get her two eggs over easy for breakfast. It would've been nice if this was something we didn't have to leave for. We would've paid a premium for the convenience. The other thing I didn't like were the dumbbells at the gym that start at 25 lbs versus 5, 10, or 15 lbs. It also would've been nice if there was equipment for a leg workout.

Hotel is very well located in Marina del Rey, walking distance to shopping and bus stops. The pool is heated and very nice. Checking was smooth and we were given welcome cookies and bottles of water. There is a filtered water refill station in the lobby which is very handy for travelers. Our room was spacious with comfortable beddings. The balcony was a nice plus to sock some California sunshine in private.

Our room was located right behind the elevator. Even with earplugs I found it noisy sometimes. So if you can avoid room number ending with 5.

Greeted every morning at breakfast with a friendly smile and hot coffee by Frank , Silvia & on our last day, Sergio. Fantastic, fresh, so many choices breakfastbuffet. Frank gave us recommendations for what to do in the area and best time to go. Pool was fun for the kids. Location was perfect for our plans. Loved the delicious cookies and also the purified water available was super.

When we first checked into our room it smelled like a dirty ashtray. I immediately went to the front desk and they were very accommodating in switching us into a new room. The pool was great! Also, the chocolate chip cookies gives to us upon checking in might have been some of the best I've had.

The room could have been cleaner. The floors in the entry way in the bathroom all could have been cleaner. Lastly, the air conditioner put out a very strong musty/mold odor when used. Luckily with the beautiful weather in the location we were able to get by with the balcony door open.

Rooms were modern and clean. Pool area was lovely.

At check in staff weren't welcoming, no hello or smile. We were told our check in was delayed due to the hotel being full the night before. Staff didn't apologise and we were told to wait in reception until our rooms were ready. Customer Service was dreadful, not a good 1st impression.

The staff were very friendly.

There were dried up pieces of food on the floor and a dark brown make on the bedsheet. Also, I'd hung a don't disturb sign on the door but the cleaning staff knocked on the door anyway.

One of the reception staff was not very accommodating to myself and my girlfriend as we checked. We felt possibly because our hotel room was booked on Booking.com , we were not given great choice of rooms… As far as brightness & location, when clearly there were many options available to I…. we had to check three rooms before we felt comfortable . One unhelpful receptionist who checked us in. The rest of the reception &hotel staff were very accommodating.

Room was fine. Loads of USB ports. We had a room by the lift, but we didn’t hear it.

A guest left there dog in there room while they went out. The dog barked for hours. However I understand that this is not the fault of the hotel.

Perfect location, friendly staff (specially Sylvia and Sergio), the bike rental service, the pool, the coffee shop, the room cleaning service, the comfortable bed, very reasonable prices at the restaurant

Alternative down pillow and comforter (could have been a lot better), toilet paper quality (it was really bad), gluten free options at the coffee shop and breakfast / restaurant (bread, granola, pizza, etc.)
