Great location with metro access in the lower level. Convenient parking garage. My grandkids loved the indoor pool and breakfast. Restaurants and groceries within walking distance. Our suite had a nice kitchenette.

A swim school uses the pool all day so it was crowded and I had to go down to the front desk to request towels. More staff is needed at the evening happy hour...long slow line with only one guy making drinks.

I was a little wary about this hotel based on some of the reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised with most everything. The location is great - the metro is accessed without going outside, and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, with some even in the same building as the hotel. The staff were helpful, even letting us check in a little early, and the breakfast was pretty good as well.

As others have said, the pool is shared by a swim lesson company, but we were still able to swim without issue. The decor is also somewhat dated with a few things broken, but we still found it to be pretty clean. The main issue I had was that key cards were not needed to access room levels, so anyone from the street could pretty much access any of the room levels, causing us to feel somewhat unsafe.

There are several things I liked about the hotel. To start with, the location is excellent! Friendship Heights metro station sits right below the hotel, and there is also Chevy Chase Pavilion bus station just across the road. So going up and about is really not an issue here. The room itself was excellent in terms of facilities and general care, and I appreciated the diversity of options on the Cable TV. Another thing I really liked was the happy hour initiative at the Willies Bar, where each hotel guest gets tickets for two free drinks each day between 5.30pm and 8.00pm - a really great initiative! The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful - I had some delivery items from Amazon that arrived after I had checked out and the hotel was able to keep them for me. That I liked. So overall, I have nothing but praise for this hotel and will definitely stay there again next time I'm in DC.

The suites are spacious and the location was great. Bloomingdale’s is across the street & the Cheesecake Factory is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Maggiano’s is located literally around the corner (you can have Maggiano’s delivered to your room for FREE). The Metro/train station is located just an elevator ride below the hotel. Stores, shopping, transportation, and restaurants are conveniently located within 5mins!! The housekeeper we had was great as well.

The breakfast was subpar. The pancakes were cold & hard. The bacon was too hard & dry. The sausage & breakfast potatoes were overcooked. I thought I was saving booking a hotel that included breakfast but I just ended up spending more getting breakfast elsewhere. You get 2 free drinks & beer at the hotel bar, but it closes at 730p. If you are traveling & site seeing around DC, by the time you get back to the hotel you’ve missed out on your free drink.

Both rooms are very large. The bedroom has 2 double beds and plenty of space left. Living room is also large with a couch and desk. Metro station is connected to the hotel via the shopping mall. It is about 15min ride to the Museums. Nice stores and restaurants in the area. Rooms are clean and quiet. Good complimentary breakfast.

The room service never showed up even after 4 phone calls. It's impossible to get an extra towel or a laundry bag. Folks cooking breakfast are unfriendly and cranky. The shopping mall is pretty much dead. Most stores are closed.

The location was perfect for our family. It’s a beautiful area although it had changed a bit since we lived there years ago. Several businesses left the area, but some wonderful restaurants and a few main name shops remain within walking distance as well as the metro and bus service. The hotel was quiet and we had a comfortable stay in our spacious, clean and well stocked room. The bathroom was clean and water pressure in the shower was great. The woman who checked me in was very friendly and helpful.

The included breakfast was decent but you have to receive tickets upon check in to turn in when you enter the breakfast area and while it looks like a buffet style, it is not self serve but rather served to you. Also, no to-go cups available for a coffee or tea if you’re on the run.

THE MADE TO ORDER OMLETE STATION WAS EXCELLENT, AND THEY HAD A GOOD SELECTION OF OTHER BREAKFAST FOOD. THE LOCATION WAS CLOSE TO RESTURANTS AND SHOPPING, WE FELT SAFE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. OUR ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND VERY CLEAN, WE HAD REFRIG, MICROWAVE AND COFFEE MAKER, AND OUR BED WAS COMFORTABLE.

THERE WAS ONE SET OF ELEVATORS THAT WERE NOT WORKING AND THAT WAS NOT GOOD, LUCKILY WE WERE ABLE TO TAKE THE STAIRS, BUT FOR OTHERS WHO NEED THE ELEVATOR THE WAIT WAS LONG. THERE NEEDED TO BE A BETTER SELECTION FOR GLUTEN AND DAIRY FREE OPTIONS FOR BREAKFAST.

Despite it is not located in the city centre, the metro is just across the street. You have two supermarkets outside and the room has a microwave and fridge. The pool is quite good and the jacuzzi is quite hot. The rooms are big and good for families. There was a happy hour and tickets for free drinks. Also, it offered popcorn and snacks for the kids. The hotel facilities are quite nice.

It is very hard to get towels for the swimming pool. When we arrived we never found towels. We asked the reception but they either said they were washing or that eventually would be replenished later. There could be more attention to the pool. The breakfast could have some more options, especially more healthy.

Check in was quick and easy. The lady was very helpful and explained everything. The breakfast was great and the hours for breakfast were nice. Enjoyed having the metro station right under the hotel. Enjoyed having the Cheesecake Factory in the building as well. The room was very spacious for a family of 5.

The beds were not comfortable at all. Every time you sat down on them they sounded like they were going to break. The pool was shared with a swim club early in the day, although we didn't spend much time in the pool to be affected by it much.

Room, staff are great, location is easy access to metro station, walking distance to restaurants.

What is still bad is that they double charge my credit card, I have called and they still have not corrected the issued, I was emailed a statement that the charge was corrected, but still waiting for the refund, I had to call me because it seemed they didn't notice they double charge me.
