This was an exceedingly lovely hotel. Very conveniently located, just a very short walk from Aomori Train Station and Bus Station and located within the Shinmachi Shopping Street. There were lots of restaurants and shops along the same side of the street of the hotel or on the opposite side of the road. We booked a Comfort Twin Room and it came with two huge beds. Each was basically a double sized bed. We could push these 2 beds together to form a super large bed, way larger than a standard king sized bed. We were all able to sleep comfortably together in one bed (my wife & I and 2 kids, 2 & 4 years old). Everything else was also good, from the bathroom to toiletries and the staff and facilities. The staff very kindly helped us forward our luggage to our next destination without much fuss. Breakfast was a lovely affair, with tables near huge windows that overlook the Exchange Square which houses experimental businesses, which was such a lovely sight in the snow when having breakfast in a nice warm dining room. The buffet had quite a wide variety of food (best in all the hotels I stayed in) with lots of different juices and heavenly rich creamy milk and wait for it... ice cream!!! My kids went crazy over the ice cream during breakfast. Overall we had such an enjoyable stay with a super comfortable room and great breakfasts to look forward to each morning.

Nothing at all!

The location is the main reason I booked this hotel as it is within walking distance to the station. I stayed for 2 nights so I did not ask for room cleaning to be environment friendly, and I found a bag with clean towels, tea bags, and clean rubbish bags on my door handle when I came back at night, and I felt very warm. Compared to the hotel I stayed at Kyoto for 3 nights, this is definitely impressive.

I can't find anything I didn't like. I did not try breakfast at this hotel as I wanted to try the small noodle shop next to the station as it smelt so nice walking past, and we made the effort to try that shop the next morning, a skinny granny was the only person operating the tiny shop, it was SO delicious! That was certainly one of the highlights of the Aomori trip.

Could do with more in room storage space Eg. unused space above kettle or corners of room, otherwise is fairly well done. Had probably late arriving and noisy guests above us, stomping heavily on floor and dragging back n forth something sounding like cases from 11.30pm - 12am, so not the most peaceful sleep.

Great location - within easy walking distance to the Aomori Train Station and on the main street so lots of options for food. Well located to the port area which has a nice walk and a great shop selling local goods. Staff were very helpful and our room was clean and well appointed. You could open the window which I love for a bit fo fresh air but as the temperature dropped to zero overnight I was glad for the cosy bed. Breakfast was very nice and there was no shortage of food. The dining area was large and spotless with great windows overlooking the street. Sadly we only had one night in this great little city so we are planning a return visit! Will most certainly stay here again!

We stayed for two nights. The hotel is not far from Aomori station and some other tourist attractions such as A Factory and the fish market. Delicious breakfast. The staff that I met are all helpful. One of them suggested very nice restaurants nearby which we really liked. There're coined laundry and dryer machines on 4th floor.

My partner had a bad experience with one of the staff who refused to give us new bottle of water for the second night that we stayed. The room was quite small for our family but I reckon it is normal for hotels in Japan.

Appreciate: 1. the water cooler available at the floor where our room was located. I believe it should be available on each floor where guest rooms are located. 2. The skincare in sachets for our use. My next visit, I will not even be packing any of my skincare products. 3. Location as it was just a short walk to catch my next shinkansen and many restaurants around the area. 4. Staff for handling the check in and check out in an efficient and swift manner.

Nothing to dislike.

Very near to the train station so it’s very convenient. Daiso, Lawson and many eateries are nearby.

Double room is very small. We struggled to pack our luggage as the space was very limited. There are only two sets of coined washer and dryer so got to queue for quite long, especially for the dryer as the washer takes 30min but 30min for the dryer is definitely not enough.

Good Location. The staff does not speak English but they are very helpful even the cleaning lady. I love their breakfast😊. A lot of restaurants around to choose. They help my laundry and deliver my heavy luggage to my next hotel in Morioka😊

Small bed. The bed is a bit small for two persons. Staff does not speak English. They use program and they are very helpful😀

Good business hotel. The included breakfast seemed nice, though I didn't eat much because I wasn't feeling well. My friend seemed to approve though. I forgot the breakfast coupon in my room when we went and the staff told me it was fine and to just turn it in at checkout, which was kind of them. Very close to Aomori Station (NOT Shin-Aomori). Front desk was happy to hold our luggage while explored the city after checking out.

Compact room, but that's to be expected of Japan.

The breakfast was excellent with a good mix of traditional Japanese breakfast and western breakfast. Am pleasantly surprise that this is the ever first Japanese hotel that provide sake during breakfast. The hotel is very close to the train station. Whilst the staff is not very conversant with English, they make their best effort to use google translate.

lack of parking.
