Stunning location and gorgeous decor. Very cool room with amazing mountain and tree views. Loved the mid century modern styling. Free drinks and champagne on arrival were a real perk, and more or less justify the (very high) price of the room. Both public onsen were really nice, especially the larger one. Staff made a real effort to look after us apart from the shuttle mix up. Breakfast was generous and delicious. We had a gorgeously relaxing stay for just one night but wished it could have been longer.

The shuttle bus failed to pick us up from the station despite us giving an arrival time. The hotel asked us to confirm when we arrived too, but there was no signal from the closest station, so we had a scary and very wet walk up the pavement-less hill to the hotel in the dark.

The love the bar and the feeling of intimacy within the entire place. The view is amazing and the staff are very kind and helpful, also the bartenders are great in terms of quality, knowledge and empathy.

Although we knew the concept of the hotel is a bar, due to the location of the hotel where is not very easy to get out to buy food/find a restaurant, and the fact of drinking alcohol that is not good for driving, the options for food at the menu could increase or the services for food.

Pictures simply cannot do this place justice. It is incredibly beautiful, every corner of the hotel was well curated and designed. The service was absolutely incredible. We had a couple of things we needed assistance with and Reiko and Yuna were always available to help our group. Everyone was just so kind! There are literally hundreds of cocktails to try and everything we had was great. This was honestly the most magical hotel I’ve ever stayed in, just unreal attention to detail and service. Everything was perfect.

Absolutely stunning in every way. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to heaven. The staff is incredible and so helpful. The rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. You must book both private baths, they are both incredibly beautiful. As well as the communal woman’s bath. The drinks were also beautiful. I don’t have enough words to describe the lovely experience of staying here. If you have the privilege of staying here you are very lucky!

A lovely stay to finish off our honeymoon. The staff is incredibly accommodating and welcoming. All the drinks are included with your stay as well as a champagne brunch. The rooms are spacious and so clean we throughly enjoyed renting out the private open air spa. Would recommend to anyone! Relaxing and stunning

A bit dark although that does seem to be the vibe and a little hard to get to/not many food options.

Amazing place. Did not realise it was a full open bar complimentary upon booking. Cocktail list was 6 pages long. Whiskey list was about 12 pages long. Incredible selection with lots of staff so you almost have your own personal bartender. Cosy and beautiful room and location.

Smaller second spa (rotates morning and night between men only and women only for both spas), but still good.

The rooms, the bar, the onsen, the staff, everything just exceeded our expectations. We found a gem and we will never forget it. The staff was incredible and the attention to details was amazing. The barhotel concept is unique and their bar staff was just out of this world. Thank you again

I don't usually leave reviews, but I want to do this for the hotel because my experience was so amazing - The service: exceptional. From checking in to arranging plans, they can help with everything you need - Facility: So new and fresh, you'll love it - Vibe: The bar concept was executed really well, and it remained classy.

What a fabulous relaxing time in a wonderful location. Staff were absolutely amazing! The food and drinks were 美味しい . The hot bath facilities and the private facilities were outstanding. The room was luxurious. I had a wonderful stay.
