Location, great breakfast and evening coffee machine, we used 2 free bicycles to go for a very pleasant and easy to get to ride around the castle moat. We repeated the ride at night to see the castle lit up. We based ourselves at Himeji and took a 20 minute JR ride to Okayama to see the garden and castle. 7 eleven store next door was convenient for an easy meal which we ate at the tables in the hotel. This place is great value for money

Location excellent, close to gardens and castle. Friendly staff, coffee and cold lemonade available in lobby. Very good and varied free breakfast.

The room wasn't big but it was adequate. The only real negative was the air conditioner which didn't seem to cut off so the room just kept getting colder and it was also very noisy. So we couldn't keep it going overnight and consequently had an uncomfortably warm night.

Coin laundry available in hotel.Free breakfast as part of booking- western and Japanese food available. Very friendly staff who allowed us to leave luggage whilst we were out and about before checking in.

If you look for a queen size bed in non-big city locations of Japan the Comfort brand seems absolutely unrivaled in terms of value for money. To be clear: it's an economy hotel and the rooms are small, but you get a queen bed with two decent pillows and good mattress, a desk, a water boiler, relatively good noise insulation, relatively good windows that often open and can be seen through, a private bathroom with shower/half tub and normal size (not extended) toilet but with washlet, and a fairly decent breakfast buffet with espresso machine. For the price they usually charge, the value for money is unbeatable and often half of the tatami-in-door-camping-with-shared-bathroom joints. And in this place, you even get free parking right outside the hotel - if you arrive early enough to catch one of the perhaps 20 spots... All that, and then there is a 7-Eleven right next door.

Amazing breakfast! Room and accessability was good! I used the washing machine and it worked well.

The room was not that well noise-isolated. You could hear talking from other rooms, families etc and it wasnt even the closest rooms. All came through the corridor. So better isolated doors would be recommended

The location is great, walking distance to the station. The price per night excellent. It was also walking distance to the Castle.

The strict rule of 3pm check in. We were early, and could understand, but up to an hour early, no way, pay an extra 1500 yen and we could have.

I stayed in this hotel with my family (including kids 4 and 7). The location is really good, a walking distance to trainstation, center, castle… Breakfast was diverse: both Japanese and internationl (it took some time for our kids to get used to Japanese food so they really liked the breakfast in this hotel).

Breakfast provided was of good quality and quantity. Coffee was provided and great for the cold weather. The place was new and clean and all amenities provided of good quality. Excellent value for money and a great place for stop over.

Car parking should be provided free. That will add more points for the hotel.

I had one staff that was quite rude when we left our luggage. But when we came back to check-in, staff was absolutely adorable and friendly. Breakfast was way better than we expected and hotel is clean with good amenities.

Room is quite small and location is a tiny bit far from the station
