Comfortable and stately hotel in a quiet area of southern Himeji. 10-15 minute walk to JR Himeji, and 20 minutes to get to Himeji Castle. Onsen and spa on site, although as a foreigner, I was reluctant to use it. Room was standard upper mid-range fare, well equipped. Selling point was the multi-storey car park right next door which was free to use for residents, just had to ensure entry ticket was stamped at front desk on departure. Wide range of bath salts/lotions etc provided in the lobby every day. Breakfast in large ballroom, huge variety of different foods including delicious local items.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a grand buffet offering so many tasty dishes for both Japanese and western tastes. The public bath had a lovely hot bath landscaped with natural rocks and a small waterfall as well as other bath options. The lobby had a small play area to entertain children while parents. Planned their day. There were coin operated washing machines as well as vending machines and an ice dispenser. A free shuttle bus takes you from the hotel to the station.

Lovely Japanese style hotel with its special charms. Breakfast is fantastic. I didn't know what to choose. Amazing japanese style Hot spring was good, too

A little bit far from Himeji station. Situated in the quite side of the station (opposite side of Himeji castle) No shuttle busses are provided in the morning that means you have to get a taxi if you are traveling with a big suitcase. In the afternoon and later in the evening, shuttle busses are available. .

The courtesy bus was really helpful. The kids corner at the front is the best idea! We would just hangout there as a family so our children could play happily. The room was very spacious. The sento is good because there is a lot of space and variety of baths and saunas.

The only complaint I would say is the window in our bedroom was either fully bright or fully blacked out, no gentle natural lighting.

The hotel staff was nice and extremly helpful! They had a shampoo bar with so many amazing options. My group of friends and I were placed on the same floor and near each other which was a plus for us. We didn't get a chance to try the onsen. They rented out bikes as well!

Location was a bit farther from the main sightseeing places that we visited so bring your good walking shoes if you don't rent a bike!

The onsen with its seven baths were superbly divine. Breakfast was also great, especially their freshly toasted almond butter toast. Shuttle bus service between the station and hotel was very useful.

Location of the hotel required a bit of walking from the train station, but it's still manageable.

The onsen was big with a sauna and steam bath. The room a clean and what you would expect from a good regular Japanese hotel room. Not to far from the station. (les than 10 minutes) They have a soap and shampoo corner at which you can get different kinds to use in the onsen.

Can't use the resting area without wearing a Yukata.

Location is great: not too far from Himeji Station, but distant enough to avoid crowds and noise. Parking is free and has good infrastructure. The public bath (onsen) is pretty good and well taken care of. Overall quite a good hotel if you’re traveling to Himeji on a budget!

Very friendly staff. Everything clean and comfortable. Awesome breakfast Luggage storage before check in available Got a non cleaning room, but it will be cleaned every 3 days anyway (saving Alot of money) Very nice onsen!!!

The spa we were looking for and it was a large and clean facility. I'm a little bit confused about locker systems if u are not good with Japanese. But it is good security. The room was very cozy with an economy price and clean facility.

None I will pick the hotel and spa again when I visit Himeji.
