Hotel was very nice for price. The staff was helpful and easy to speak with in english. There was a good public hotbath which was perfect in rainy weather and also noodle soup service in evening if you got hungry. It was easy to travel there from station and city and main atractions are even within walking distance. Would recommend for all who want to be close in city and comfy at hotel.

I didn't like that my car didn't fit in the parking space. If your car doesn't fit in their parking, you need to use a garage elsewhere that's a bit of a walk away. They match price, so it's fine in terms of cost, but it's worth being aware for the sake of convenience. You wont fit in their on site garage if your car is bigger than: Width: 1,850mm Length: 5,000mm Height: 1,550mm

We had a great experience at the Dormy Inn. The room was quite spacious by Japanese standards, it had a window facing the Peace Boulevard. The hotel has an onsen for complimentary use on the top floor as well as a complimentary bowl of ramen after 9 pm. The washing machines are located in the onsen area so very convenient to use. The location is excellent, walking distance from the Peace Memorial. There are convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the station. What really stood out for us was the breakfast. It was excellent with a lot of choices and very well prepared.

The beds and maybe the hotel overall are a little dated, but we had no complaints.

I have a super pleasant experience staying at Dormy Inn Annex Hiroshima. I originally booked Dormy Inn, but when I arrived I was informed that the onsen is under maintenance for a few days during my stay and is offered me to transfer to Annex instead, they even help me book taxi form Dormy Inn to Dormy Inn Annex for free. While my stay in Annex, everything is good and comfortable. Front house staff are super friendly and helpful. Greet me every time when I return hotel. The hotel is a bit far from JR station, yet they offer free shuttle bus in the morning. Well, I have to take a bus in the evening when returning to hotel.

Great location. Short bus ride from Hiroshima Station. Tram line located just around the corner from the hotel. Main attractions like A-Bomb Dome and Peace Park just a short walk. Main shopping area also a short walk or tram ride away. Room has all the usual Dormy Inn bonuses like free ramen at night, free ice-cream bars at the onsen and free probiotic drinks in the morning.

Space is tight like most Japanese hotels. This Dormy Inn had a closet that the others I stayed at didn't though. Need English instructions for the air-con and room humidifier. Had to use Google Translate to operate those devices.

Good room and amenities. Good facilities. Very Clean. Nice treats. Free laundry .. just pay for dryer. Great shuttle service to station. Staff wonderful.

I don't know whether I was unlucky but on one of the nights I could hear noise from the rooms either side of me . One side was someone talking very loud at midnight and the other side had someone banging about through the night ( given what was in the room I am baffled as to how they were making so much noise). Anyhow still gave it a 9 overall.

The gentleman at the reception desk went far beyond the call of duty when he found a room for even though I had made a dumb mistake and arrived a day early. He even found a double room that I could stay in all three days, and did not charge the higher room rate. I could not have been more impressed by his and his colleague's efforts.

The only small thing I could possibly mention is that the croissants at breakfast did not seem to be the genuine item, but were a pale imitation of French croissants. In every other respect, the hotel exceeded my expectations.

wide choices for breakfast in a spacious dining room. top floor hot-spa excellent, baths and grooming-room clean and roomy. plus free ice-bars right at the door. great location, five minute walk to the Peace Museum. public transit in all directions within a few minutes walk. staff extremely helpful and friendly, always someone English-capable to help. on-premises laundry very helpful.

The proximity to Peace Park was excellent and we enjoyed the roof top bar at the neighboring hotel. Also was pleased that the Onsen was so nice.

Room is very small and the pillows were the hardest I have ever experienced. The bed butts up against the wall on one side

Great location - right by the museum and the peace park - right in central Hiroshima for food and shops too. You stay in a Dormy Inn for the onsen/hot spring bath, which was really lovely. We stayed here purely for this and it was great. Tourists - be sure to research and try a Japanese onsen. The free lemonade in reception was also great, as well as the ice creams after the onsen! Room was big, spacious and comfortable.
