As a solo traveller, the hotel met my expectations. Location: The hotel is near to JR Hiroshima station (about $11 taxi ride). It is also near to Hiroshima Peace Park about 25 minutes walk. Need to walk for a min to reach to the main road. Food: Halal outlets and convenience stores are available within walking distance. Staff: Friendly and helpful who speak English. Facilities: Different services at different level. Pantry at Level 1, near to the entrance. Laundry services at Level 3, with separate washing machine and dryer. Vending machines at Level 4. Room: Small and cosy but can be quite squeezy.

I had a great stay here. The location was very central, making it easy to explore the city and all it has to offer. The room was clean, and the staff were super friendly. While the bathroom was a bit small, it was sufficient for a solo traveler like me. Recommended!

The bed was ok but the mattress felt a bit worn in some parts. Breakfast is included but you shouldn't be in a rush when you go get it. On my first day I left after waiting almost 30 minutes for it. I was probably just unlucky because a group of around 8 people had just ordered their breakfast before me. On the second day it only took 5 minutes and I was very impressed with it. It was delicious.

Nice clean place, ideally located to walk to some of main A-bomb related places of interest in Hiroshima (dome, museum, central bank etc). Very friendly staff, and nice well laid out and relaxed feeling lounge/dining area. Would stay there again if visiting Hiroshima, might also try out the WeBase hotels in other cities next time rather than the ones we chose this visit.

Not much really, bedroom could have been a tad larger, but was ok by Japan standards. A few different breakfast options would have been nice, but not really an issue.

Very good location. Facilities are perfecrly clean. There are enough toilets, a nice lobby, etc. Comfortable checkout time. Great coffee in the lobby (paid).

The "pod" has really poor ventilation and gets damp when used multiple nights in a row. The inability to get a new towel free of charge means that you end up hanging your towel on the only personal hanger you have - in your pod. The towel won't dry, it will merely dampen the entire pod. Unlike European hostels, the overall layout is a bit too "private" - I basically didn't get to meet any other guests, other than an occasional "hi" while brushing teeth. There is no option to get breakfast, which is somewhat inconvenient.

Intelligent design all around; a hostel well-designed with the traveler in mind. Dorm requires card to exit, minimizing chance you’ll leave without it. Shelves in capsule, ample counter space and stools in bathrooms—plenty of surface area to put things. The detail of a wooden block as a nonslip drying area stepping out of the showers (with lockable doors) is a nice QOL feature. And of course, phenomenal walkability to tourist recommendations Peace Memorial Park, Hondori, and Okonomimura, with a Don Quijote and several public transit options nearby.

This wonderful flashpacker hostel in Hiroshima is well located for Peace Park and all the atomic stuff and only a few minutes walk from Okonimimura (the fried noodle pancake place you will want to eat at). Great common area, great rooms, fast Wifi, top notch laundry service, big easy luggage space to leave your stuff after you check out but before you actually leave, there's even a cat in a space suit on the lobby ceiling for some reason, and the breakfast is GREAT. Best breakfast we had in Japan. This is a solid solid choice. We'd come back in a heart beat.

Really, I can't fault this place one bit.

The location was great, and for the price we paid we were happy with it. The room and bathroom were clean and functional, albeit cozy. We didn’t have a problem fitting our luggage as there was a ledge above the bed that we put our bags on. However, our bags were both carry-on sized so those with larger luggage might have difficulty.

I will note that this was by far the smallest room we stayed in on our trip. We were only in Hiroshima for one night and since the location was so convenient I still think it was great, but I might be dismayed if we had been staying for more than one night. Just be aware that you’re basically getting a bed and very small bathroom. If those are your expectations then you’ll be happy.

One of the best hostel I have stayed. Good installations always thinking in the customer needs, excellent bathrooms very clean and with soap and shampoo, loves the Japanese toilets. Amazing Cleanness, organisation, staff and installations. Never had been in a hostel with such a number of capsules (50) but everything was well organised and clean and fresh. Very recommended.

I loved this hostel but if I have to say something I didn’t like would be the lack of atmosphere.

The bathrooms were clean and enough toilets and showers where I didn't have to wait (but there also weren't many people in my dorm) and the bed was private. I liked that the bed had a locker, USB, and dimmer switch to the light.

I did not like how the hotel did not spread out the few guests that were there in the dorm. There are 50 beds and they put 4 of us on top of each other. I believe there were less than 12-15 people in the dorm. Most of the beds across from us and the section furthest from the entrance were empty. Also only one elevator and I don't think you can access the stairs.

the place is very clean and it’s close to the memorial area and restaurants and bars. there’s a kitchen that you can use which is nice.

with two larger suitcases/backpacks there’s basically no space to move within the room anymore. no storage possibility in the room. if traveling with more than one large bag I would recommend a bigger room. don’t expect to check-in if you arrive a bit earlier, check-in was not possible a few minutes before 3pm. it was ok though and we relaxed in the cafeteria for half an hour. it would have been nice though if that would’ve been possible.
