Very cozy, good location close to the Kanazawa station and the nearby fish market. The staff is very professional, warm and helpful. Both Chichi and Mizuki were very helpful, gave me recommendations for spots around Kanazawa and helped me book my next hotel in Tokyo when I couldn’t navigate Japanese websites. Thank you both!!

We stayed for 7 days and could stay more, because it was very pleasant and Kanazawa has so much to offer that we ended up with a to do list for next time! The staff were super friendly, there's a friendly atmosphere. The common area has a very well equipped kitchen and it's a pleasant place to have your meals and chat with people. We usually got bento boxes at the basement floor of the nearby mall or sushi at the market and ate them in the common area. The location is a huge advantage, because local buses in Kanazawa are slow and crowded, so it's important to have many things at a waking distance. The shared toilet and shower were clean and convenient, they almost didn't feel shared.

The room door is noisy: every time it opens or closes, it says "the door has opened" or "the door has closed", for example when one of us went to the toilet in the middle of the night. One warm blanket wasn't enough for the two of us, so we asked for separate blankets and were charged money for the second one (1000 yen). The check-in was an unpleasant experience: you have to fill out some form on the tablet, but it's not really a self check in, because the guy at the reception acted in a condescending way while guiding us step by step through the process. Instead of this convoluted hybrid process, it would be more pleasant and no less efficient if the receptionist had been the one with the tablet and had just asked us for the details.

I stayed in a single private room with shared bathroom, the bathroom is clean everyday! that's a plus! The room is small but it's just ok for my size and height. Wifi is very strong, and good, I can have online video meeting smoothly in my room. I like the shared kitchen concept too, it feels like home and utensils are well equipped and clean! Last but not least, I'm very happy because the staff at Linnas are very helpful and friendly to help, they can speak fluent english and makes the travelers feel like home :D

The air ventilation of the common area / hotel lobby could be better, sometimes there are oil and smoky smell because 1F has a restaurant and a shared kitchen for travelers. After coming out from the lift, I'll have to pass through a few staircase to my room, hope there's a slope so we don't need to carry heavy luggage up and down.

This hotel was my favourite out of the six I stayed in during my Japan trip. The staff at the front desk are so friendly, the rooms are super clean and the layout gives you so much extra space in a small room. The shared kitchen is the nicest one I've ever used, super clean, stocked with a bunch of appliances and utensils. Omicho Market is only a short walk away and buses are within a 10 minute walk. The restaurant on site was brilliant and the chef was super accommodating & willing to prepare a vegetarian meal for me. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay here again when I come back to Kanazawa 😄

Location. 2 blocks away from omicho market, which makes getting around kanazawa by public bus a breeze. Theyre also a few blocks away from kanazawa castle grounds and nishi-chaya. My room is also cozy; on the small size but it has everything i need (proper bed, warm functining ac, own bath and toilet) so no complaints about the room. Staff (i think her name was hera) was also friendly and helpful; always ready to answer questions. I communicated with the hotel using this app’a chat function and theyre so responsive. I used the kitchen to make hot tea and toasts.

The walls are on thin side. Room is also on the small size; im 155cm/5’2” tall so this doesnt bother me but i know someone thats taller or bigger than i am will feel that the room is cramped.

Linnas has a very friendly and sociable vibe. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The amenities are great. Especially the communal kitchen if you are keen to save money and prepare some of your own meals. The rooms are very reasonably priced with a wide range of different sizes and prices available. The hotel is located in a very convenient part of Kanazawa very close to popular tourist attractions such as Omicho Market just up the road and Kanazawa Castle and grounds, Kenrokuen and the Higashi Chaya (Tea House district) just a short walk away. There are also numerous great restaurants just a stones throw away.  I highly recommend a stay at Linnas if you are ever in the beautiful Kanazawa.

Great location, close to the castle and the market, and fairly close to the Old districts (20min walk). We didn't cook, but it had a well equipped shared kitchen. The toilets and shower were clean, and hot water. The wifi was pretty good, though we couldn't connect a few times. The staff super friendly, and they make events to hang out.

Travelling in Japan, we are used to having free coffee and tea in the kitchen, so it would've been nice to have some here as well. But it wasn't really an inconvenience.

The hotel was located a block from Omo-Cho market and close to other cultural attractions. The room was very clean and efficient. Not much room to move around but for the price, location and cleanliness, it was good. They have a laundry room and kitchen that you can use. There is also a small restaurant in the lobby that looks quite popular. There are also convenience stores 2 blocks away. Overall, a quiet street at night and safe to walk home to at night.

Hotel uses a digital keypad for each room. Cool feature, but activating (illuminating) the keypad so you could input the numbers usually took many tries and there were no directions (or tips) on how to activate the pad. The front doors of the hotel appeared to be locked after midnight and there were directions in English or an attendant to let you out.

The hotel was clean, beautiful and inviting. We had a room with 2 bunk beds and a private bathroom, a sofa bed and a table, it was perfect for our group of 5. The lounge and communal kitchen were great. The air conditioning worked really well and it was a relief to come back to our room after a day in the harsh heat of August. The staff was amazing. The lady at the reception made a reservation for us of the Ninja-dera house, which was complicated for non-japanese speaker. She was very kind and patient since she had to call two times to get the line. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The bathroom was very functional but really small. A plus-size person might not be comfortable.

WOW!!! I was overwhelmed! I stayed 2 nights in this wonderful place. Modern Hotel in good location. Staff spoke best English (better than in any other hotel) and supported with recommendations to restaurant and bars. Room was spacious and functional. Bathroom was a bit small. The kitchen area is better than mine at home :). Everything was just perfect. Common area with lots of design elements. Hotel is near old district and Kanazawa castle and garden. 15 min by walk from station. Highly recommended!
