Location very near to subway station and halal food.Clean and comfortable for family.

The house looks exactly as advertised and I really like small gestures from the host in providing comfort for the guests. Extra tissues, towels, drying rack for clothes and also extra chairs. Just nice and thoughtful. As a traveller, I feel that my needs were fulfilled in a very delicate way. The house is close to Shijo station. Life Supermarket, 7 eleven and Lawson are all about 5 minutes walk. Very convenience. The guidance given by the host make the check in and check out process like a breeze.

Nothing basically.

Apartment Hotel 7key is only 1 and a half blocks away from the nearest subway making it convenient to hop on/off the train for meals and activities; and luggage transport luggage. I recognized this property is not staffed but a fully-appointed apartment with a small dining table is still larger than most hotel rooms. Of course we need to share a bathroom but all four of us can stay together. Away from the main road and large mall a few blocks away, there was no noise except for the contractors that were usually doing work downstairs.

Although the wall signage is clear, the space appears only to be a single car driveway that we had to explore and access the lobby. The instructions to register including providing passport image and recording a video of each guest saying their name was clear but felt unusual and was necessary so that we can know what room is assigned to us.

The location was absolutely amazing, close to a plethora of restaurants and the Shijo metro station, but still quiet. Spacious fridge with a freezer. Felt very private as we were in the ground floor apartment, which is the only one there. Most comfortable mattress of my traveling history! There was just me and my husband so we basically each got our own bed. Instructions from the staff regarding check-in/out and using the apartment facilities were clear and comprehensive.

Not sure if this is the case with the upper floor apartments as well, but the space was very dark and gloomy, even with all curtains open. and there was a distinct smell of moisture/mold in the bedroom area (possibly coming from the carpeting?). The air quality was fine though, and the room had an air purifier.

The place is comfortable and clean. The surrounding of the hotel is many small eateries. Quite distance to subway, when took exit 4 (which has lift to subway) the route is slighty far, about 15 mins walk with luggage. Exit 6 is near but still have to walk 8-10 mins if you walk slowly. The subway has many line and not to far from kyoto station, around 2 stop via subway. The location is quite central, around 20 mins walk to gion city centre. If do not want to walk just take bus or subway. Transportation is easy to reach. Not to far from the hotel, there is famous ramen, the place is quite hidden but it is nice.

Quite distance to subway, if we walk without luggage it is ok, but if we bring luggage is quite troublesome as the lift is quite distance. The nearest exit is only stairs no lift to subway.

Only two blocks away from closest subway station and about three blocks away from two supermarkets. Convenient to train by subway, bus or walk. Restaurants around the area are good.

Only one thing that can improve, I hope the all in one washer and dryer machine can do hot air during drying.

I like the location, it was just a 5 mins walk to the train station. Surrounding the whole area are foods! There is also a coffee place which was good nearby and it takes 3 mins to walk. Honestly, the location is kinda near Nishiki Market which you can walk, it will take appx 15-20 mins but still walkable. Check in was so easy and I do not need to check out. Size of the room was just nice for 3 pax with 3 medium luggage.

The only thing I didn't like was the pillows, it was really uncomfortable and had a hard time sleeping. I wish they had better pillows.

Fantastic location - lots of food and bars nearby if you want a more chill evening and the bus to any of the further away temples is only a five minute walk away. Easy to get to and check in - a great stay!

There was an automatic light in the corridor. Whilst this was fine/good most of the time, it would have been great to be able to turn off this feature as we found any time someone got up during the night they would wake others with the light turning on.

Small but not too cramped apartment, a short walk from the Shijo subway. 1 km from the lively Teramachi-dori.The apartment has a good size fridge and a washing machine, but unfortunately, there is no clothes dryer. Choice of local eateries and Gion Craft brewery a very short walk 80 metres away. Suitable for a couple or a family with very small children as the two beds are stuck together. We never saw anyone while we were there. Self check in and keyless entry.

The lack of a clothes dryer . We had washing hung all over the place.
