The location is great! Walking distance to the main train station, the wharf, and china town (I was visiting for the Red Lantern Festival). The price was very reasonable and the beds were fairly comfortable compared to my last hostel stay.

As others have mentioned, you aren't likely to meet any staff upon arrival which is fine if you have a device you can use to Check-In. I appreciated the locker, and the ability to leave luggage in the common space before and after checkout, but it would be nice to have more lockable space for luggage. That may be a little nit-picky though.

One of the best hostel I have ever been in my life. Everything is super clean, the check-in is super early, the room is quiet. The female only room has a fridge, a shower and a toilet. The living room as a hamac, a very furnished kitchen and comfortable couch and pillows. Outlets are everywhere and there are also lockers with a lock furnished. The check-in is super easy and the hostel is located 10min away on foot from the train and bus station. They are also very attentive as they find me a solution right away when I needed it because my transportation was cancelled. Would stay there again 100%

Very central location in a walking distance from the train station, port and a lot of izakayas. The place was clean and quite comfortable. Teabags and an electric kettle were a nice bonus. The rooftop was great to hang out. The "contactless" check in and out process was smooth and effective (given that you've got a smartphone etc, because you need to send an email to the staff with your passport photos).

The room is great for two people, but with three persons (meaning one sleeps on a futon on the floor) it's really cramped. Also note there is no lift in the building and some of the rooms are on the fourth (Japanese fifth) floor - not a problem for us, but someone might find this to be an obstacle. Although there is a washing machine, there's no spin dryer.

Stayed in the 'Superior Room'. Really impressed by how spacious it was, with ample cupboard storage, a separate toilet/shower room, and two large single beds. Also an amazing view out of the window of the water/mountain. Check-in & check-out process was very easy despite them not having a standard 'reception' (they leave your key in a bag to collect and you post it in a box when departing). We didn't actually encounter any staff in-person but the hostel was very responsive with messaging over Booking.com. Great location too - about a 10/15 min walk to the train station. Overall a great stay.

A lovely hostel not too far from the Nagasaki train station. I particularly liked the communal kitchen living area. The location has good connections to bus, train and tram. It is also right next to the water which provides a nice location for an evening walk/run.

Staff keep to themselves - rarely ever see anyone.

Location is great. Bed was warm and comfy. Bunk is hella spacious. Curtains, tho, were a bit short so light bled from the bottom, but it helped with the ventilation. Facilities were great. Roommates' noises and minute traffic noises were shouganai.

The signage was parallel to the street. Kinda hard to see especially during the night as it isn't lighted.

Super spacious room and bed! A huge personal locker and space to put your items next to the bed. Loved my stay here! The room even had a large space with a fridge and dining area. The staff was friendly and even recommended me some hidden local food gems.

Close to the station. Easy access to the streetcars. Nice shared space. There was space to store my items so I didn't have to carry my items around town.

You can't change the temperature in the room. I understand why since it's a shared space but I wish it was just a little cooler.

Great location, close to bars/restaurants, train, tram and bus stops. Overlooking the harbour on one side. Was clean and tidy, kitchen with everything you need as well as a great living room space that encouraged socialisation.
