Amenities, cleanliness, design and location were all amazing! There’s a very classy feel to the whole building, including the baths on the top floor. Not the cheapest place I’ve ever stayed at, but I think it’s worth the price if you’re looking to treat yourself a little. It’s also in a very central location — literally right across the street from one of the busiest bus stops in the city. Definitely would recommend H2 Hotel!

They give you a pamphlet with the public bath hours, so it was my fault for not double checking, but I was sad when I couldn’t take a quick dip before checkout.

I loved my stay at H2. It's a beautiful modern hotel with touches of Japan here and there like a Japanese garden in the first floor before you ascend to reception and that gives you a hint of what is to come. Reception is also beautifully decorated with Japanese motifs and staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything is very sober, clean and light and I loved that. Rooms are descend-sized and bed was very comfortable. Restaurant staff was extremely friendly and their smiles and customer-service attitude made our day. Too bad we only ate there once. The price is fair and the buffet is very good.

Breakfast staff was nice. Nice little indoor/outdoor bar serving drinks and gelato. The roof top indoor/outdoor public bath was refreshing!

Breakfast was primarily make-your-own sandwich buffet style. I thought it was weird to eat sandwiches for breakfast but I was able to find enough sandwich ingredients, fried eggs, bread, and yogurt to put together an ok breakfast on my plate. I stayed there almost a week so this breakfast every morning started to become tiresome.

- Nice location. really accessible to shops, restaurants & attractions. Although the hotel is not very near the station, taking a taxi is needed if having luggage. - Morden & practical facilities in the room, like microwave

- the room is comfy, except the view. there is no view outside the window, nothing i could see, except a wall. it made me feel a bit cramped in the room.

Good central location near tram for all sights, short walk to Chinatown. Useful free facilities, coffee/tea in lobby and excellent free self-service laundry. Good view from room. Spacious bathroom.

Excellent location and a really comfy bed. I missed having a tub but they do have an private bath on the top floor you can use. Even though I have tattoos I was allowed in as long as I covered them. I’m very grateful for this. The laundry was also free to use and they even provide detergent.

The air conditioner is a little loud so it was difficult to sleep.

The hotel is conveniently located across the northwest entrance to the Hamanomachi shopping arcade, as well as several public transport options and tourist attractions. While the room itself was quite small, it had a bit of a cozy feel to it, and parts of it were well-designed to counter this. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were actually alright by my standards (anyone who's read my hotel reviews for Japan would know that this is a big deal for me). The hotel staff were quite helpful, with the check-in staff even offering to speak in fluent English even though I said I was fine with simple Japanese. The breakfast buffet offered was also delicious, and I definitely appreciated the direct connection to Joyful on the ground floor.

If it weren't for the ensuite in my room, it would've easily been the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. This may cause concerns for anyone with claustrophobia.

The hotel is very close to the tram station and bus stop. You can easily take a taxi from Nagasaki station if you have more luggage. The breakfast was more western then japanese. It was worth the price and very tasty. Easy to check-out, just drop the keys in box on your way put, if you had payed when you checked in. It is easy from the hotel to walk or take transportation to the various points of intreset.

For a european the bed was good. The pilows was a little bit to hard but it work for a few nights.

Free coffee and cold brew green tea were great. Nice view from the lobby / 11th floor.

Not being able to use the onsen with tattoos seems a little ridiculous in this day and age. Narrowest bathroom I've encountered this far, difficult not to bump your elbows when using the shower or sink.

Great location, easy access to point of interests, transportation and shopping. Hotel is located right in front of tram/bus station and taxi stand. Walking distance to Dejima, Meganebashi. Several convenience stores nearby. Nice strong shower. Fresh baked bread every morning is nice.

Room is rather small. No place on the floor to open a big suitcase.
