Google Maps is essential for traveling in Japan! This hotel is in a very convenient location in Japan. I traveled alone, and this was a good environment. The area provides easy access to Nara Park, Todai-Ji Temple, Mount Wakakusayama, food stalls, convenience stores, and more. I took the bus and train, but using Google Maps was easy! I just matched the bus number on the left side of the road and pressed the "stop" button when I wanted to get off. I only used public transportation because it was unnecessary to use anything else! Interesting perks about the accommodation: - 24 Hour Reception - Free Towels, Free Tea/Water - Baggage Storage (Before Check-in and After Check-Out) - Reasonable Check-In and Check-Out time - Friendly Staff (I was also able to exchange money to get coins to operate the laundry) - Room Key - Storage space under the bed - Luxurious feeling for a budget hotel - Good privacy - Common lounge - Easy Checkout - The hotel location is one of the best for exploring top attractions in Nara! I wholeheartedly recommend this budget-friendly hotel to anyone who values a comfortable stay with many amenities and easy travel access. APA hotels are a common sight in Japan, and for good reason: they are a reliable choice for budget-friendly accommodation!

Some individuals may find the room to be small. I thought it was fine! Also, you must keep the room key in the slot for the power to operate continuously (this does not affect the fridge). The annoyance was that the TV kept turning on every time I inserted my room key, so I had to turn it off several times. These are not issues that warrant a change in accommodation, though! I enjoyed my stay here!

Location is convenient, very close to station, lots of stores and cafes around it. Staff was absolutely lovely. Did not realize that connecting rooms actually meant 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, so that was a nice surprise. Laundromat was great. Mattress and comforter was the best in my stay in 4 cities!

Bathroom was really tight, like in Tokyo. No real breakfast available. The hallway was being cleaned and the whole hallway was super messy; they should do one room at a time, no need to invade entire floor with laundry bags or whatever those blue bags are.

The personal service was kind and friendly. Near to Nara's park and also Nara station, well located. The hotel includes some amenities as toothbrush, toothpaste and more like a body towel, hairbrush. Also you could find next to the bed the air conditioner controls that will help you to control the temperature of the room as you wish. For me, it was the best option in Nara. The best APA hotel that I have stayed in.

It is not something that I do not like but it is a fact that must be considered, It is a small room but if you keep your bagged under the bed, you will have more space

Perfect location in Nara, they have a coin laundry machine which was perfect for us backpackers. The bedding was soft and fluffy, they give you robes and slippers, and everything was super clean.

The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable but we still slept well. The window helped to create some good airflow in this super tiny room. Glad we didn’t have big suitcases because you wouldn’t be able to open those in the room. There isn’t much room for anything, but sleep and with two people one person always needs to be in the bath or on the bed so the other can move. It was all fine though, just important to know.

. Location was excellent; very close to two major train stations, close to tourist information centre; walking distance to major attractions. . Hotel was clean, well-presented, . Staff were friendly and helpful.

. It was a little disappointing not to have onsen at the hotel. . Breakfast was a little limited in choice as I am vegan, however staff were very accomodating. . Sometimes communication was difficult because I can only speak english,

I was amazed at the high quality of this hotel! I worked hard to find affordable accommodation in the areas I wanted to photograph during my time in Japan and I was really surprised how high-class the APA Hotel Kintetsu-Nara was! They said it was a “modern urban hotel” and it was really like a modern American hotel with bigger rooms than other Japanese hotels and a lot included for a really affordable price! - My photos are of the “fish option”brunch they gave me when I came back from my morning photography time. Amazing!

It was in solo trip and I had incredible great experience stay in APA Hotel in Nara. I was sick and fainted at lobby before checking in to the room. All staffs are very nice and gave unconditional helps. I really thankful and appreciate to all. Staffs are polite and helpful. My million of of thanks to all! Cheers!

It’s very clean and neat. Superb condition. The tv is so big size with Apple TV connection. And the location is very convenient, 5 mins walk from train station, and walking distance to the deer park.

Simple hotel. We booked 4 rooms even though we only needed 3 because each room was quite small- there wont be space for you to keep the luggage opened and walk at the same time. So good thing we booked the extra space plus. Our kids slept in a room on their own and they have a connecting door to our room. So its good for families. They also have this really nice udon place nearby- recommended by the receptionist. Try their curry udon. Exceptional! The pork there is really good (they said its because they are also a butchery). "加寿屋" (opens till much later as compared to other places). I think its worth paying for a night's stay at nara.

The breakfast was OK, however, it was served in the small restaurant which had limited choice of meals. No buffet. The localization is perfect. The room is quite small.

I was surprised that the personnel cannot make for me the receipt since I booked room through booking.com. It was first time that I found in such situation, but personnel was very friendly and tried to be helpful. At the reception desk nobody spoke English. It was embarassing.

Staff excellent as usual in Japan. Location also good being easy walking distance to the two stations, the park and a plethora of restaurants. Breakfast was a change from the usual buffet, being an interesting set menu elegantly served.

In a closely contested field, this bathroom won the prize for the smallest. The hotel architect must have felt we needed a challenge as he put it an awkward step up from the bedroom floor.
