The Japanese breakfast was fantastic. A huge variety of different foods, including steamed eggs that cooked at the table over a burner, delicious grilled salmon, and miso soup. The tatami rooms were large and relaxing, and the cedar bathtub in the room was super deep and smelled amazing. Very close to the deer park, too!

The hotel restaurant was completely booked for dinner, so it would've been great if they'd provided maps/guides to other restaurants in the area. It's very close to a shopping street, though, so it wasn't difficult to find something to eat.

The room was fantastic. It was huge, especially by Japanese standards. The location was great, short bus ride from the main JR station and walking distance to the other station with connections to Osaka and Kyoto. The onsen was lovely with an open air pool. Very clean. The room had all the amenities you’d need, including Yukata and slippers as well as decent toiletries. There was a separate bath and toilet in a very large bathroom with a separate dressing area

You have to book breakfast in advance. The restaurant has a limited capacity so we couldn’t book in when we arrived.

The staff there were all very friendly and helpful. I tried out the traditional Japanese room and it was the biggest room I ever lived traveling in Japan. On the first night it was even a bit frightening (if you are a Japanese horror movie lover). But I had 2 good night of sleeps there and the tatami was comfortable too. The staff there will help you to set up the bed and pillows which was very nice. they would light a night lamp for you after making the bed and it feels like home when you come back. The public bath is very comfortable too and I loved it. The location is perfect and it’s right after the Nara Kintetsu. I recommend this hotel and will definitely visit back.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Within walking distance to a mall where we can find lots of food and shops. The station is just nearby. Nara Park was also walking distance. The hotel service was excellent, they were able to accomodate to last minute changes to change to Western Room for my mom who was having difficulty standing up from the bed. Excellent customer service!!!

The smoking room was right next to the main entrance of the hotel. When the door was opened, the smoke sip through the hotel and I was terrified as my mom and me are asthmatic. It was a wrong impression, the hotel does not allow smoking, however because the smoking room was next to the entrance, it felt as though the smoke was in the hotel itself.

The location is super super convenient, literally right next to the station and Nara Park. The rooms were very nice, and very spacious. We even had a private tub that could easily fit two people. Breakfast is a great experience as well, with a huge variety of authentic Japanese dishes.

Honestly nothing comes to mind. You get a free drink when you check in, I guess the one thing to say is that your selection of drinks is limited to coffee or tea. There is also hot cocoa.

One of the best place we stay at. The services provided by the hotel, and the very nice hotel staff were top notch. The in room private onsen, and the public one was excellent. We stayed in a Japanese style room, love all the detail of the corridor and the style. We especially enjoy the half board meals provided. I recommend anyone stay there to get it. I’ll definitely come back again if I’m visiting Nara again. Hotel is located very close to the train station and buses are easy walk to.

Great location just a two minute walk from the train station and a similar distance to the deer in Nara Park. Super attentive and helpful staff. Comfortable spacious elegant bedroom and bathroom with comfortable futons on the tatami floors. I was served a very generous delicious Japanese breakfast while my wife who is vegetarian opted for the western breakfast. We had a wonderful two night experience at Kasuga Hotel and enjoyed the hot baths. We dropped our bags off at reception before check-in and left them there after checking out giving us several hours on each end of our stay to further explore Nara.

Not a big deal … Everything was so top notch throughout that it made the somewhat tired/stained carpets in the corridor appear due for replacement.

This place is really well located within Nara. You cannot be closer from the main temples of the city. The hotel in itself present really large rooms. The only this is the confort of the traditional Futon beds that is not great. The hotel has a nice Onsen/Spa within it's facilities which is really a nice plus after an exhausting day. Staff a really accommodating and helping.

Superb hospitality and great service! In room outdoor onsen is very nice in the winter, water is very hot. Room is very spacious. WiFi is working very well. Location is the best next to the shopping street and convenient stores. Late check out is available at a low fee. Overall a very good experience and definitely will return!

The food at dinner and breakfast are so so. Not recommended to opt in again. But there aren’t many choices at night as most restaurants nearby closes at around 8-9pm.
