A very nice stay. The room is not so big, but it's clean and cosy. The staff is super nice and offer great suggestions for food. :) Above all, the location is good. It is close to the shopping and food street and within walking distance of the main tourist attractions.

It's located in the alleys. The host offered a clear and detailed map. It still cost me some time to find it. I am not good at reading maps, so this is probably on me. lol

The location is excellent. Very close to the Nara Nintetsu station. About a 10 min walk. You can take a walk to many local temples, see the museums and return through the forested area of Nara Park on your way navk to the guesthouse. I checked out in the morning, but was able to leave my luggage at the guesthouse and retrieve it in the afternoon after my park tour. Very nice host and clean, quiet guesthouse. I slept well on the comfy bed. There's a kitchen with a microwave, a little hot plate, a kettle, and a fridge to store your food. Good wifi and everything works! Very peaceful and close to restaurants, shopping, and Nara Park.

The only complaint I have is the check-in time frame. Perhaps they could make it open a little later for those who get stuck on a long journey?

Slow House Nara totally exceeded our expectations. It was one of the less expensive places we stayed at, so I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, new and modern it was. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a compact kitchen with tea, coffee, etc., and a microwave and fridge. Upstairs sleeping room was large and well lit.

This location was about a 5 block walk from the main train station, but it was worth it to be so near the Park. We enjoyed the shops along the road to get to Slow House Nara.

It's a lovely, clean little place. There was a possibility for noise because it's small and in traditional style, but we didn't have any trouble at all. The front desk staff was amazing and friendly, and even helped us to book massages for our poor, tired feet! It's a decent-sized room with a shower in it. Really conveniently located for shopping, food, transportation to the attractions, and the train station. Really happy with Slow House Nara!

Slow House is a family-operated Japanese-style hotel with tatami rooms and futon, in a small street located in walking distance to the main sights of Nara (museum, deer park, Todaiji). The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We stayed one night. The staff are friendly and well-informed.

It was hard to find the place and it was 15 minutes walk from JR Nara station; the weather was insufferably hot and muggy this summer. It would have been better to visit in the fall or spring.

Basically everything! The staffs were super nice and helpful Location was also nice, close to many restaurants. The room was perfectly clean and tidy.

Nothing. （If you are coming from the kintetsu station with heavy luggage, don't take the exit 6 with stairs!）

Plenty of space in our tatami mat room, comfy chairs & table for sitting, very close to deer park, stations, restaurants, great location. Staff are lovely

We only stayed for one night which was too short. We loved the accomodation and would book again. Very central to everything, lots of food nearby and a short pleasant walk to the deer. Easy to leave your luggage before or after your stay.

late check in at 16:00, however there was facility to leave the luggage early.
