Great location. 10 minutes stroll from exit 5 at Namba station. The rooms were good, although all were twins The 2 bed apartment had a washing machine and good sized living space which made up for the small 2nd twin room.

Check in was a bit weird. Make sure you contact the property prior to check in as you need the code to get in the doors. Then a speaker asks you to check in using a QR code. This was fine, but then an employee arrived within 2 minutes of our arrival but then stood behind the desk while I continued chatting with the speaker (installed in a bird cage). 2 minutes later the owner of the voice in the speaker arrived to ensure we had checked in ok. The suit of Samurai armour in the window is a nice touch.

We loved the spacious and clean rooms. It was in a quiet area in the neighborhood but was still very accessible. A supermarket was just a short walk away. It was easy for the Uber drivers to find the hotel too. The beds were super comfy to come home to after a long day of walking (wish they had more pillows provided though). Love the easy check-in and checkout process! You just really need to read their instructions before you arrive at the hotel since you need to input a passcode at the panel (rightside of the building in front of the vendo) so you can enter the building.

Hotel S-presso South is unmanned so maybe they can make it easier for guests to contact hotel staff immediately thru hotel room phone calls or provide a hotel reception phone that guests can access for any concerns/needs that are immediate. Would also be nice to have large bins somewhere in the lobby or outside for garbage so we can take out our trash daily and hope they had more pillows in the beds rather than just 1 pillow provided per bed.

I actually like the self checkin and checkout. I think it is cool and there was somebody who video call us upon checkin; not sure if there was a sensor that let them know that there was someone in the counter. There were messages to guide you in entering the premises. Toiletries and towels are self serve which I like. There is even bathrobe. I also like shower and toilet separation - very important. There is also a balcony so it is quite nice from air flow standpoint. Free luggage storage in another building which is really okay as it is right across airport train station.

There was supposedly cleaning but our mugs were left unclean. Garbage was also not empty out which is the most problematic one since the trash is already full. I also dont like the lack of responsiveness on the day of checkin when I was asking about which exit is the nearest route (but there were responsive during reservation period like within a day or 2).

Location is ~7 mins walk from Namba Nankai station. Local 7-11 nearby that supplies all our snacks. Seamless check-in and check-out online. Friendly and accomodating staff eg I ordered a Cerezo Osaka jersey (to S-Presso Central) and they delivered straight to the room. There is also a free storage site next to Namba Nankai station if you are hotel guests

Online check-in means there is no staff on-site. It’s fine if there is no complication with bookings. We haven’t tried luggage delivery but it may be challenging if there is no staff to receive delivered items. Breakfast is not on-site but another 5 mins walk away to S-Presso Central.

Ease of access. Responsiveness to emails. Cleanliness. Access to extra towels and complementary toiletries. Staff friendliness. Digital lock instead of physical key. Dual sinks. Excellent bidet. Great shower and tub. Excellent heat and shower pressure. Amazing projector screen.

No dryer. Inability to turn on heat/cool at any time of year. Wish we could have little more control over the projector lighting and brightness.

Am here for about 7days, Family Mart and Lawson around the area, nice crépe shop around the corner. A supermarket is a stone throw away. 😁 The location was pretty convenient, about less than 10mins walk from Namba Station. For my booking, Airport Transfer was included under HeyCars from airport to the hotel (Driver will check your arrival flight number & contact you via Whatsapp and update us on where to pick us up, journey was around 45mins) Heading towards the airport via Namba Nankai Line was very convenient and it takes about 50mins -1hr to arrive at the airport (depending the time of the day too) Check in was quite smooth especially when you follow the instructions from the email sent by the hotel. Upon arrival, need to press passcode sent by hotel to enter. You will be required to key in these passcode everytime you return too, so it’s pretty safe. For check in- No staff at the counter however once you enter - a staff will be able to see you via a camera from another hotel property nearby & will assist via “voice” at the counter. Fill up a form via QR code available at the counter and you are good to check in. Pretty seamless! 👍🏼 They are 3 adults, 2 rooms (both have 2 single bed each) and kitchen available. We are vegetarian therefore with the kitchen facilities, light cooking is great with the plates/ bowls/utensils available. A good size fridge and microwave available. Washing machine available (we didn’t utilise them) Seperate toilet and shower area. Cleaners were arranged on our 2nd and 5th day stay. Will come over between 10am to 4pm, very efficient cleaning.

During the evening, If you leave the windows open a little from the first room on the right. There’s cooking smell from a nearby restaurant. But not too much of an issue as i brought my sanitizer spray along. 😅

We were able to get help from in-person staff, which was an unexpected surprise. :) Room was comfortable and sizeable. Very close to things I wanted to visit, and lots of good restaurants! The remote front-desk staff was helpful when we were inside the lobby.

Figuring out the entry was confusing without any staff to assist us first. Even our friend (Native Japanese) couldn't figure out how to enter the hotel without my instruction. No complimentary breakfast at this location, but was available at a sister-location a short walk away.

Location is very good, little far from JR stations but worth the walk! Nice rooms, comfortable beds and good shower.

It was very hot inside the property. The AC in the room had to work hard to keep the hear out. Knowing it was only 15 Celcius outside. We didn’t use the breakfast because it was a 10-min walk to another building. Breakfast ends early and has limited availability. We didn’t want to risk getting up early, walk 10 mins and return without breakfast.

The hotel is in quite a good location within walking distance to the main Namba train station and also Dotonbori (about 15 to 20 mins walk). 7-11 and Lawson is also nearby. Amenities are great and my room has good space for my kid to roam about. I like that there is some privacy between the 2 bedrooms, unlike many others which are just a partition door. Check-in and check-out was self-service and fuss-free.

With children on strollers, it might take quite a while to get to the train station but you get a lot of food choices from the nearest mall, Namba City. Projector instructions are in japanese so it might be hard to navigate. It would be great if there is some where to hang the wet laundry since washing machine is provided for washing our clothes.

There were 2 rooms with 2 beds respectively, toilet&shower were separated and living room was large with projector so very nice for acommodate 3-4 people.Location was slight walk from nankai namba station so it was quiet, which was nice. Kitchen equips with basic utensils (pot, plate, chopstic etc) nice for simple cook.

It would be nice if there is direct contact(call) available from lobby as it operates without concierge employee. (I think if employee see by camera that you stay in lobby they talk trough microphone. But i could not find way that i can call them)
