The hotel's proximity, just a 5-minute walk from USS Osaka, is convenient for visitors. Additionally, having a Lawson store downstairs is convenient for any immediate needs. The spacious family room with four individual single beds accommodates each family member comfortably.

Finding the location by car can be challenging due to the complexity of the route, particularly when using Google Maps. The presence of another hotel named Universal Port adds to the confusion. Additionally, the parking fee is relatively expensive, costing around 3,000 Yen per day.

The layout of the room and size but we LOVE the most especially was the toilet. The shower and toilet were in different spaces and the set up and toiletries were complete and excellent quality. I normally cannot use hotel shampoo and conditioners but Hotel Port Vita has such lovely shampoo and conditioner. I wish the hotel sold their shampoo and conditioners for their guests to buy and bring home ! My room faces USJ park directly and it was such a delight to see the happy faces going to and leaving the theme park.

We stayed in a 3 beds room and the room is bigger than usual in Japan. I particularly like the design of the bathroom, which is separated from the toilet and washing basin. There are many storage spaces too. I can see the little details they put in the room, which are kids friendly, like a step stool in the bathroom, a chair close to the door for kids to sit on while putting on shoes and a small night torch. A convinence store is located downstairs connecting to the hotel which is very handy. Generally highly recommended to family with young children to stay here.

Not being the closest to USJ and the shops, but still easy walking distance even with young kids. Laundry facilities can be very busy during peak travel seasons.

We were very impressed by the hospitality and welcome greeting we received immediately upon entering the hotel. A staff member was there and ready to guide us through every step of the check-in process. Upon checking in, they gave us small stickers and themed towels as a token of thanks for staying at the property. I thought this was a nice touch. After checking in, we had someone escort us to the elevator and assist us with operating it. The room itself was beautiful. Our space was very clean and had all the amenities we could need. If we were missing anything, we could find it at the amenity bar in the hotel lobby, which was available for all guests. Our room was thoroughly cleaned and stocked with water, towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner, and information to aid in our experience. I appreciated the modern technology including the key insert at the door of the room that controls the electricity, saving power when you leave and remove your key from it. During our stay, we enjoyed both the breakfast and lunch buffet, which were both great. We had an easy time finding something we liked due to the large array of options and helpful staff stationed throughout the dining space. With the convenience of the buffet right in the hotel, I would recommend purchasing the meal vouchers especially if you are going to Universal Studios early in the morning. The buffet opened at 6:30am on the day we visited the park, so we were able to eat before leaving. Whenever we returned from the park, we were grateful to have a convenience store on the 1st floor of the hotel, offering us the option to get any snacks or refreshments needed. Additionally, the location of the hotel was ideal as it was within a few minutes of walking to both the train station and Universal Studios. Upon checking out, we had a very quick and smooth process. We also shipped luggage to another hotel for our next stay and was pleasantly surprised at the cost.

We were very satisfied with our stay, so we do not have anything to share that we didn’t like.

Hotel Universal Port Vita is located very close to the park so at the end of the night, we didn’t have to worry about having to take the train back. A convenience store is on property and easily accessed so it was easy to get water, snacks and anything you may need. Rooms are big for a Japanese hotel and very clean. It also has a lot of outlets for charging multiple devices for all family members. There is also a door that can be closed between the bedroom and the entry/ bathroom area so we were able to use the bathroom in the morning and evening without disturbing the rest of the family.

I had to wait a little bit in the morning for the elevator during the rush to head to the park. Also, multiple train changes are needed if you are trying to head into Osaka to do some sightseeing.

port vita is my favorite usj hotel (have been to 5 out of 8). it might be a bit farther than the ones in citywalk but it’s the prettiest and the rooms are spacious and beautiful. staff is always so nice and most of them speak at least a bit of English. unlike some others they let you do all the paperwork early so when you go to your room after 3pm there’s no hassle. plus they take your luggage to the room. there’s free water and the amenities are really good quality. the toilet, shower and sink being all separate from each other make it very convenient. can’t wait to find it on sale again so i can stay here again!

the only bad thing is it’s always expensive so whenever i see it “on sale”, it’s my chosen one 😁

The staff go above and beyond to make your stay all that you hoped it could be. A special thank you to Sawada who was able to accomodate to ours needs when we were impact by the typhoon. Sawada, your support was appreciated very much. The location is amazing for anyone wanting to go to Universal Studios, Japan. It is a super easy walk to Universal City station and the food venues in Universal City Walk were amazing and accommodating for all food preferences.

I would have liked a few more western options in the buffet breakfast.

The location was centrally located for private tours to Kyoto and Nara. Train station and Universal Studios across the street. Lots of restaurants nearby. Buffet breakfast or lunch was included. We did the breakfast. So much to eat. The room was so clean and spacious. Perfect for the two of us. Staff was so friendly. This is one of the best places we have stayed at.

Location- 10min walk to Universal Studios. This is the only reason to stay out here vs in the city. It's a nice clean hotel w/ cute animations in the lobby- minions. There's a Lawson's connected to it on the ground floor. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful.

The laundry room - way too small for that big of a hotel. And two of the machines weren't working. The rooms are so small. Our hotel in Tokyo was surprisingly much bigger.

Port vita is adjacent to Universal Studios and across the road from a sleuth of eateries, shopping and a train station. The location was hard to beat, yet was so quiet. The room had everything we needed including pyjamas (even kid ones for Mr 6), bath, great bidet and comfy beds. For our 2 night stay we couldn’t fault a thing and if we ever visit Universal again we would certainly stay here!
