I stayed 4 nights in the twin room. There's also a microwave & washing machine available for use. They also provide free amenities in the lobby for guests to use, the most popular were special scented bath salts that either turned the bath blue or pink! Room was a good size and had a great view of the nearest JR train station, Bentencho. I love the room configuration a lot! There's a sliding door to separate the bedroom from the entrance way & bathroom. The table in the room is the perfect length so that you have enough space to do makeup/eat yet it won't get in the way. There was also lots of space to hang clothes & store luggage. The lighting is also great since its not too bright. Although you can hear the trains a little bit & sirens if any ambulances drive by, i was still happy with the low level of noise considering its right next to the station. There's a 7 eleven just around the corner, a gym open 24/7, and if you like onsens, the Solaniwa Onsen Osaka Bay Tower is just a 10min walk away. Location wise, its in close proximity to Universal studios (20mins by JR line) & the Osaka aquarium kaiyukan (20mins by subway) so definitely recommend staying here if you want to visit those attractions! A direct train to Nara can also be caught at the Bentencho station and will take around 45-50mins! Can't stress enough about how easy it was to travel to these locations from this hotel. Overall I stayed at 9 different hotels all around Japan (even at a marriott hotel!) but this was my favourite, so will definitely stay here again!

I tried calling reception from my room, and several times the call either failed to connect or staff didn't pick up the phone, but they may have been busy at the time since I tried again 1hr later and eventually managed to get through. They have a strict check in time of 3pm but will at least mind your luggage for you. But to be fair, only 2 out of 9 hotels let me check in earlier than the stated check in time.

Big family room, lots of sockets for charging our many devices, strong air conditioning in hot summer days (which is very important for our family). Free simple breakfast where you could get coffee, juice, yoghurt, bread, croissants, and powdered corn soup! We arrived late at night and set off early next morning, but this is a value-for-money hotel with parking facilities. We didn't have the opportunity to explore the neighbourhood. But it's right next to a convenience store and very close to the train station.

My wife and I had a marvelous stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted properly and quickly checked in. All the staff at the hotel were friendly, courteous, and were always happy to assist with any issues. I tried to speak broken Japanese to communicate, but many of them spoke English which made things extremely easy. The room was immaculately clean and the room size was enough for my wife and me to have both of our suitcases open while having room to move around. The hotel provides a free breakfast which consists of pastries, soups, yogurt, coffee, and fruit juices. We were happy with what was provided as it helped us start our day right. The balcony has a smoking area and provides a great view of the city. The Bentencho area was nice as it provided decent restaurants, supermarkets, etc. There's a 7/11 downstairs which has many things that you might need. My wife and I felt completely safe walking around during the day or night. At no time did we witness anything that seemed out of the ordinary. ordinary or that would alarm anyone. Overall, this was a great stay and if we ever need a hotel in the Osaka area, we will definitely consider this hotel for our stay.

We recently stayed at Park Inn in Osaka from May 17 to May 21 for a vacation trip, and overall, we had a great experience. Location: The hotel is super close to Bentencho Station, which made it incredibly convenient to travel around Osaka and visit various attractions. Room: The room was surprisingly big and well-equipped with electric sockets, perfect for charging all our devices. Service: The staff were really nice and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests. Amenities: The hotel features an amazing rooftop area on the 14th floor, offering stunning views of Osaka city. They also have a washing area located on the 8th floor, which is very convenient for travelers exploring Japan. Despite the limited breakfast options and wifi issues, we would highly recommend Park Inn to anyone visiting Osaka. The excellent location, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and convenient amenities made our stay very enjoyable.

Issues: Breakfast: The breakfast provided was very basic with only a few options. However, there's a store next to the hotel where you can easily buy additional food. Wifi: we had issues to connect phones to WIFI despite that password was correct. Looks like they are limiting number of devices connected to public network.

The hallway carpets, both in and out of the room were immaculate... Looked brand new. Tatami feel on the immaculate walls, even a tatami-ish door in the room. Clean quiet comfortable room, upper floor with a bit of a view. Comfortable tea prep area. Free breakfast! Packaged soup (I tried all 3 kinds), some nice buns, juice, yoghurt. Plus very nice staff. They also had a rooftop, which was interesting. 4 Laundry units on 8f.

Fridge too tiny.

We were greeted by lovely staff of the hotel. We utilised our translator apps to help us communicate with them well. The service from them was excellent - hospitable, accommodating, helpful and 5 stars. They explained the policies, and amenities well. We were provided with adapter x1 and slippers upon request. The room was immaculately clean. Maybe just replenish water bottles everyday. Amenities are like for a 5 star hotel. Our quadruple room has nice amenities, toilet is separate from bath. There is also a divider that you can open and close to separate the room (containing the beds from your private toilet and bath). The refrigerator stunk a bit upon opening them, maybe because it wasn't use for a long time. The kettle took quite a long time to boil water. There are some usb plugs in the room, so that helped a lot as we didn't have Japan electrical adapters. The breakfast included in the price was good - they set our expectations by informing us ahead via description so no issues with this. They have different bread options, soup options, and juice / coffee / tea options. There is also the stellar YAKULT yogurt fridge. The hotel location is perfect - there are 7 Eleven, and Family Mart nearby, there is also the Bentencho Station about 5 mins walk from the hotel. The area is safe and also Koban police is nearby. The hotel is one of the excellent hotel that will bring you to Universal Studios with no fuss. I may have recommendations, but I will not give them any less than a 10 as this is indeed a wonderful stay for all 4 of us. Thank you so much Porta Inn Bentencho.

The hotel was very near the Bentencho train station. After finding the elevator, our travels through the station we're much easier. We asked for recommendations to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, and were happy to be directed to the Osaka Bay Hotel, which had numerous very nice restaurants, a supermarket, and a Daiso ¥100 store! From the Bentencho station, we were able to get to the Osaka Universal Studios, Osaka Aquarium, and large shopping areas. The room was very large, compared to rooms in Tokyo. There is a 7-11 on the ground floor of the hotel, a Family Mart 2 short blocks away, and a Lawson's convenience store also nearby! We stopped by every night on our way back to our room to buy breakfast items, like yummy soft boiled eggs!

No microwave oven in the room. Bathroom layout has the toilet with a little sink (no soap) across the entry doorway from the shower/tub room with a sink, mirror, and soap. Directions from the Osaka International Airport were confusing, but we eventually found our way to the station. Hotel should direct visitors to the elevator.

The hotel was super close to USJ (about 15 mins by public transport) and included a complimentary breakfast (self-serve breads, pastries, yoghurt, coffee, and juice). The hotel also had self-service amenities available in the lobby at check-in and the staff were very nice. Check-in was simple and made easier by the fact that you can check-in at your convenience up until midnight. The hotel is right next to a convenience store and only about 200m to Bentenchō Station. There's a large sign for the hotel on the side of the building that you're likely to see first when exiting the train station even though the entrance is not on that side, which makes the hotel much easier to find if you're not familiar with the area. We were only there for one night but there appear to be plenty of restaurants in the area. The room included a kettle and complimentary teabags were available in the lobby. There was a dividing door you could use to separate the bedroom area from the kitchen/entryway/bathroom and the room was a good size with a bench in the entryway where you could place your luggage.

Hotel amenities didn't seem to include face soap/lotion (although they *did* include a variety of useful items like toothbrushes and combs as well as some little containers of bath salts) and the hairdryer in the room was not overly powerful. It wasn't a problem for me, but people with strong preferences might want to be aware that the mattress was very firm and the pillows were quite dense. The area surrounding the hotel is a little loud, so if you're a light sleeper maybe bring ear plugs. There's an ice machine on the 8th floor but no iced water dispenser. No tap in the kitchenette so you have to use the bathroom tap.

We only stayed one night to maximise our visit to Universal Studios. Fantastic access to Universal Studios as only one train station away and super convenient. Despite being right next to the train station it was quiet. Reasonably spacious for Japanese hotel and comfortable. We had the breakfast which was simple but more than adequate. A decent selection of a few Japanese baked goods, yoghurt and hot drinks including packaged corn soup! Can highly recommend the teas offered in the amenities and other offerings including bath salts! Appreciated the hotel storing our bags after checkout while we did USJ. We didn't use many of the facilities since it was such a short stay, but were more than satisfied with the hotel overall. Great experience.

The room was extremely spacious with a great window view of the city. The bed was comfortable and the location was great too. I never had the chance to use the gym but the fact that it was available was welcome. The location was extremely convenient. Both for getting to Universal Studios as well as only being a block away from Solaniwa Onsen Park which I highly recommend.

I think more breakfast options might be better. The breakfast was complimentary but mainly included different types of breads. Some protein options could have been nice. It's not a deal breaker though since you can just go to the 7-Eleven next door to get any other sustenance you might need on the go.
