BAM! Nailed this one! Very beautiful views of the river from our room. Windows open. Spacious room. English-speaking staff was super friendly, even helping me order a computer part from Amazon. Noise and vibration from the subway? Complete nonsense! Barely noticeable. If you want to see what noise is, visit Chicago, San Francisco, Paris, etc. Convenient transportation. Riverfront coffee shops everywhere. Eat at the fun restaurant GARB Weeks across the river! One of the best bakerys we know is Karato, Left out the door 2 blk, then rt 3 blks) +/-) Eat your pastries in the Boly lobby with their good coffee and river views.

The hotel is well located - in a elegant business area, not so crowded and well served by transports. The hotel has a great design and we got a big room (suite).

- The breakfast is good but very limited (JP option only/fish, rice, etc) so we even chose to skip it some days and go to a cafe nearby and pay it additionally. Would be good to have the option to have some bread, cheese, yogurt, fruits, etc. - The hotel is located very close to subway so you can hear it. It didn't disturbed me but might be a thing for some people. The hotel provides ear plugs though. - In our room there was some sort of some opaque sticker in the windows that didn't' allow us to see any view which is not ideal also considering the view is not that bad.

The size of everything was lovely. Awesome shower, big and had Bluetooth for music! The bed was very comfortable too. The rooftop area was beautiful and had plenty of seating. The staff were so lovely! We sent our luggage from Tokyo and had an issue with one of the bags being delivered and the staff were so helpful! They called to check on the tracking since we did not speak enough Japanese to and we did not have to wait about in the room for it to be delivered either. The staff were always smiling and happy! We felt very welcome! Not to mention the pjs are soo cute!!

The only thing I would change is the balcony had room for 2 chairs but there was only 1 and a small stool. 2 chairs would be much better and it would have been more comfortable for us to spend time there. We did want to sit in the balcony, especially first thing in the morning or late evening but it was wasn’t comfortable to sit on the stool for long.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were huge compared to a typical hotel room in Japan. I was able to walk between two metro stations very easily which made getting around the city very easy. The Lawsons across the road was an absolute life saver! And there are loads of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a sushi restaurant which looked amazing though I didn’t use it because I had already booked other plans. The general vibe of the room was great. If we come back to Osaka we will definitely stay here again!

I bought a JR pass for the time I was in Osaka but didn’t use it because the hotel is between two metro stations which aren’t on the JR line. Something to keep in mind if you’re looking to use a JR pass while staying here. The other thing I didn’t like were the pillows. One was too soft and the other too hard.

The hotel is a very cute boutique style place to stay. Check in was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Rooms are small but not tiny by Japan standards and had all you needed. Lovely touches with the nice toiletries etc. And it smelt delicious throughout! Great location to walk down to dontobori and cute places to eat along way which we preferred to dontobori area.

The room was really hot and we couldn't work the Aircon because it was all in Japanese. Fan only worked if light was on. It was noisy (we were road side) but had ear plugs so didn't matter too much.

Great location, 5-10 min walk from 2 different train stations. The hotel is very artsy and quirky, has a really cool vibe. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful Rooms were a decent size, very tidy and nice layout Rooftop terrace was such a lovely addition. There are breakfast snacks and pastries available every morning which we sat on the rooftop terrace to eat

The number one thing that impressed me about The Boly was the amazing service. We lost something on our last night in town at one of the local shopping centers. The lost and found at the mall took down our hotel info, but as we were leaving early the next morning, we had dismissed our chances of getting it back. Later that night we received an email from the night manager at The Boly that the mall folks had contacted them and that they had personally gone to pick it up for us at the mall. We were amazed and delighted. Japanese customer service is excellent in general, but this was beyond our wildest expectations. We also appreciated the location of the hotel and cleanliness of our room. There is also a very nice rooftop terrace for sipping coffee and looking out at the lights of Osaka.

The access to the rooms is a little funky as you need to check in on the 6th floor via a teeny-tiny elevator. The stairwell between the rooms (and I believed it is shared with floors which do not contain hotel spaces) is a bit industrial. But the lobby, the rooms and the rooftop terrace are all clean, comfortable, modern and very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again if we were in Osaka.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in my life,I would definitely coming back again the next time. The location is good,close to the metro. It was a little bit noisy when train passed like other guests mentioned,but that's not a big deal as u r already that tired at night. The staffs are great,very helpful and full of passion,also they did leave me a letter of recommendations where we could go as they noticed our interests.That was really sweet!

Modern, comfortable, clean hotel located in a good part of the city. We had a river view which was lovely. Reception is on the 6th floor, the reception team who looked after us were professional and helpful. The bathroom is generous, with excellent water pressure in the shower. The hotel is close to two metro stations one of which only a few stops from the Shin Osaka train station. It’s a maximum of 10 minutes walk from each station to the hotel. The hotel’s restaurant is good with a lovely atmosphere overlooking the river.

Breakfast was a little repetitive, at least another choice would have been appreciated. Better instructions for the use of the air conditioning in the room would be helpful.

We loved the place from the moment we entered. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. The roof top terrace is super nice and has an amazing view. The room was comfortable and the shower was amazing. While it is not in the touristy areas, they are easily reachable by train.

The rooms are not noise proof. We were in the third floor and were able to hear even the people speaking in the street. Not good for light sleepers.
