Great location with very easy access to Sapporo Station. Nice and friendly staffs. Room was clean.

Breakfast started at 7:00 am and was crowded every day. I stayed for eight nights and was able to use only four times. If you plan to leave for your destinations from Sapporo Station, before 8 am, please do not include breakfast in your reservation. You'd be better off just picking up your breakfast from nearby convenience stores.

Hotel has a pillow library, where customers may select the pillow type according to individual preferences. It is also within walking distance to the main train station and the TV tower, with 2 convenient stores just within the traffic junctions. The hotel comes with a public bath which is suitable for customers who want to experience the bath culture. There are vending machines as well, and a rest lounge with self brewed coffee, plus for people who need hot drinks. In the same lounge, there is a manga library as well. The laundry machines are also readily available all on the lounge level. Staff is service oriented and helpful, room is clean and tidy.

The JR Inn Sapporo Kita 2 Jo is a 10-minute walk from the Sapporo train station. For our December 2023 stay, we trundled our suitcases across many icy and some cleared sidewalks and were greeted by very friendly front desk staff. The hotel is spotless, rooms are modern, simple and clean, small by American standards (but larger than many Japanese hotels), and everything we needed was provided. It was fun to pick out pillows from the pillow library!

Hotel was fine, but doesn't have a restaurant nor a bar. We were longing for a light-bite meal and a cocktail, and lacking reservations we were turned away by six different nearby Sapporo establishments and ended up eating grab and go stuff from a convenience store. Be sure to set up a plan if you want to eat out. Even the izakaya joints were full-up on a Friday in December.

Good location, 10 minutes walk from JR station and underground labyrinth of shops. Room size surprisingly good for city centre in Japan. Double bed full size and very comfortable, excellent choice of pillows from foyer. Onsen ok

Lady on front desk was the most unfriendly person we came across in a month in Japan. We only wanted to leave our luggage prior to check in, and her rude, abrupt and shouty attitude took us by surprise and certainly left a very poor first impression. Management should consider retraining her. Fortunately all other members of staff were professional and friendly. Wasn’t too keen on going to café next door for breakfast. The set meal was ok, but I wouldn’t have booked it had I realised. Wasn’t too keen on semi transparent glass door between bedroom and toilet.

The stay at JR Inn Sapporo Kita 2 from 30 March 2023 to 4 April 2023 definitely exceeded my expectations for a broad range of reasons. The hotel is located in the strict city centre and there are many restaurants and bars with delicious food nearby. I booked my stay at the end of October 2022 (therefore with a six-month advance) and must admit that the price that I paid for my stay was simply excellent. The quality/price factor is very, very, very high for this accommodation provider. Although the hotel is located on a busy street, the room was very quiet, cosy, comfortable and clean. According to my friends its size was quite small, but for me it was fully satisfactory. Interestingly, the bathroom (shower) and toilet are separated from each other. The view was onto the wall of the neighbouring building, but it was no problem for me. The Wi-Fi connection worked very well. Each guest gets a complimentary breakfast that is simple, but tasty. There are two sets of menu. Moreover, the cafeteria staff is very friendly, polite and nice. I have very good memories related to my stay at the hotel and I can honestly recommend it to everyone who is looking for a very centrally located accommodation in Sapporo at a very good price. Had I a chance, I would stay there again for sure. Everything was as it should have been.

I enjoyed a lot my stay here, very comfortable in a very modern japanese style! I appreciate especially the public bath, for a very relaxing pre-sleeping habit! And also choosing the most comfortable pillor from the pillor corner is very nice! The hotel is placed in a very practical area of Sapporo, 10 min walking distance from the JR station.

Breakfast is served in the Cafè de Crié placed in the same building of the hotel. It is nice, but "boring", in the sense that for a long stay there is no choice, always the same stuff every morning. I would have prefered more choice of food. But, anyway, the quailty was good.

Good location. Good value. Nice lounge/library area where u can enjoy free coffee/ water.

Public bath only has one pool each for separate male and female. The male pool's water inlet has stopped so I presumed water is only changed once a day during clean-up time. Was shocked to see a man went into the pool straight into pool without scrubbing or at least washing first, he also left the pool and straight to changing room. I felt dirty after usibg the pool and spent extra time to scrub afterwards. If water is freeflowing then perhaps it is not asmuch an issue I supposed..

Location is in between Sapporo station and Susukino area so you can explore both. The parking is 1500 JPY per night. This is the best hotel I've stayed during the trip. Hotel is clean and the room is bigger than normal Japanese hotel room. The separated toilet and shower is awesome. Hotel provide basic amenities and you can get it at the reception area and on a plus side, the brand of amenities is POLA which quite impressive. The selection of pillow is also great, unfortunately, I came back a bit late and not much choice of pillow left but the standard pillow provided is already good.

A great hotel in the middle of Sapporo. The rooms are small but comfortable. It was a short walk to Odori Park where the Snow Festival is based and the bus stop for our trip to Furano. The bathrooms seem clean. There is an Onsen in the hotel but we didn't try it. There is a lounge on 2F with some OK coffee.

We like to have the room a little cool for sleeping but couldn't set the room temp below 20c and had to open the window a little which made it noisy.
