Charming hotel with good ambiance. Rooms were clean and relatively spacious for Japan standards. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Good location. Hot water. Good wifi.
Considering they have a cafe, it would have been nice to have a free welcome drink for guests. They also don't allow outside food for guests in the lobby area (due to the cafe), so if you get food from 7-eleven, plan on eating outside or in your room. Seems a little stringent and unfair to not provide coffee or an eating area for guests who are already spending ¥10,000+/night... Minor inconvenience to go up to the room to eat a breakfast snack, then return to the lobby to buy a coffee.

Location that is accessible to restaurants, marts, and malls. 10-15mins walk to train station and 5mins walk to Airport bus stop.
None in particular, but I would like to recommend having more breakfast options. They only have 4 sandwich options, so if you stay for more than 4 nights, you may find it boring.

Very clean and well maintained hotel. I like the cool concept of renting books at a cafe to read in the comfort of the room. Well located at Tanukikoji 6 for shopping arcade and connected to underground (Polo town) at Tanukikoji 4 for direct access to JR Sapporo
The check in time was 3pm, we reached early at 2pm so both my elderly parents and my kid were resting at the reception coach, the receptionist told them off to leave the premises as no resting is allowed as this is a cafe library meant reading and working with coffee. They end up waiting in the cold winter outside of the hotel when I came back for the check in. This is so unreasonable. There should be segregation between the coffee cafe seating area and check in the lobby sofa. There is absolutely no reason why the guests can't rest while waiting for check in to the hotel.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The included breakfast was very enjoyable and always prepared quickly. The room was very clean and we appreciated the daily towel exchange. The only item I would enjoy seeing in the room is a coffee option with the kettle. I had to purachase my own instant coffee from the Konbini to have in the room in the morning before going downstairs.
The only thing that would make the hotel better would be the addition of a gym, just a few pieces of equipment. Or maybe an association with a local gym for a discounted daily rate for hotel guest. I knew prior to arriving there was no gym but an option would make the hotel perfect for a traveler like me.

Lovely staff with good English when we checked-in. They also worked at the cafe and would always greet us as we walked in and out. Cafe is often packed with young and old Japanese locals from the early hours until late at night, studying quietly. We didn't end up trying the cafe's coffee though :( Basic amenities provided. Laundry on first floor + bathroom, but we didn't end up using the laundry machines so can't comment on that. Located at the end of a busy shopping street (and tax free stores) filled with locals and tourists. A few other hotels on the same road. Lots of food options which we didn't end up getting to try on our short stay. Small Nijo Market located at the end of this street, about a 15-20mins walk away. Doesn't feel so far when there's so many stores under a covered area! :) Unsure if there were luggage storage available, as we left right after check-out. Modern room and exactly like in the photos. We thought our three big suitcases wouldn't fit, but they just did! Room was clean, lots of outlets for charging, and lots of lighting options/functions for all our needs. The closest station with lifts was about a 10 minute walk away, which didn't seem too far even with our large suitcases. Within walking distance to most city attractions. We took the airport limousine and walked under 10 mins on our first day.

I like the design of the hotel, it’s a cafe + hotel style. Location is great. Easy access to shopping and nearby attractions. New towels are given everyday.
It’s quite small, especially since we had three large pieces of luggage. Breakfast was just a toast and one cup of coffee, with no other options available. I also noticed they seemed short-staffed, particularly in the morning. There were only two baristas preparing breakfast, who were also responsible for managing check-ins and check-outs. When it got busy, some staff members weren’t very accommodating. While this is understandable to some extent, it shouldn’t happen consistently.

Breakfast was delicious, coffee and sweets were amazing. The reading area in the lobby is super cozy (traveled in winter). The staff are all super friendly. The train station is only a 10 minute or so walk away. Super convenient location and there's heaps of food options surrounding the hotel.
The room was super cozy and everything was clean and comfortable but since there were two of us traveling together I wish the room was just a bit bigger so we could have enough space to have both our large suitcases open at the same time.

Even though the standard room was small, it was surprisingly very comfortable. Room was clean. Bedding was comfortable. The soundproofing was great! Despite its location in the heart of a shopping arcade, it was very quiet! The book cafe downstairs served limited, but wonderful breakfast! It was walking distance to all the tourist attractions. The laundry room downstairs was a bonus!
As it’s located in the heart of a shopping arcade, you would not be able to see the front door if you drove a car or if you took a cab. You would need to pull your luggages through the shopping arcade to get to the hotel. In winter, when the road was icy and covered with snow, it could be difficult to trundle through.

Everything was simply perfect. The hotel staff was super nice, able to speak English and went out of their way to help us with every issue we had, the way it is designed so that you can only use the elevator to the rooms with your room card, breakfast tasted incredible, the coffee was strong and good. Step outside the hotel and you are in one of Sapporo's shopping shopping street, be inside and it is so quiet you can read a book. Our room was very spacious and the shower was a 10/10. The next time we're in Sapporo we will come again and stay here.

Didn't expect the rooms to be quite spacious. It was quite comfortable. It was about 5 minute walk to Odori Park and accessible to different restaurants and shopping places. The bus stop to the airport was a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Very convenient .
Even if you were staying in the hotel, you cannot sit in the coffee shop. You must order at least a snack or coffee to be able to do so. Was a strange policy but had to comply.
