Perfect location; less than 10 minute walk from Sugamo Station and the neighborhood is very safe even at night. The staff were very nice and the hotel is surrounded by vending machines and local restaurants. The hotel locks the entrace after 6PM and you enter with a passcode, so you feel very safe during your stay.

I read many reviews that the cigarette smells in rooms aren’t that strong, but unfortunately it was. If you are not okay with the smell you can go to a local drug store and buy an odor remover specifically for smoking and it worked great. The room was really dry so you will often wake up with unstoppable cough but other than that, everything was good!

Location was good and you can easily access the Yamanote and Mita Lines within a 5-10 minutes walk. There's also a food street nearby that has a number of good value-for-money restaurants along with convenience stores and supermarkets. Tokyo Somei Onsen SAKURA is also within walking distance for those who wish to soak their tired bodies after a day of exploring Tokyo. My friends and I reserved 3 singles room and we felt that the room was adequate enough for us to rest although our rooms had varying degrees of wifi coverage, which wasn't an issue for us as we had our own e-sims/travel sim cards. The staff members whom we met during our stay were all really friendly so that was a big plus for us and kudos to them. Personally, I'll stay here again if I ever visit Tokyo in future.

I recently fell in love with the area of Sugamo and glad that I got to stay in this hotel. Walking distance from the shopping street and Sugamo Station, lots of nearby restaurant, drugstores, conbini, supermarket, and even dollar stores. The room I got is bigger than I expected and I like that I got the room with two windows so it's bright.

Nothing, maybe except that you had to climb down the stairs to B1 with your luggage/s where the lobby is to check-in. It was not much of a hassle afterwards though when going in/out of the hotel. During checkout and returning the key card, the kind staff told me I can exit from the 1st floor instead so I wouldn't have to carry my luggage to the stairs.

Close to the station. The staff were so lovely! The room was perfect for what I needed. Microwave, kettle and desk. Perfect if you are just looking for the basics. The location was great. Hot tip travellers, instead of trekking to the conbini, there is a supermarket very close to this hotel so go there instead to save some money.

Okay, it is small and not the most up to date. Don't go in expecting luxury. You get what you pay for and it's basically like renting a tiny studio apartment. My only real complaint was the pillow, but it's typical Japanese style.

This marks my second stay here in Flex Stay Inn Sugamo, and like before, I really loved it. The staff from the lobby mentioned that I stayed last November and asked how it was and thanked me for the stay. The room I got this time is on the 3rd floor, and I think it's the normal-sized single room with its own microwave, toilet/bath, and sink area. I was also happy with the new implementation of providing clean towels every other day from the cleaning staff. Overall, a great stay and the cost performance is really guaranteed. Can't wait to come back soon.

It seems the internet connection still gets slower during the night until midnight. I hope they'll be able to have a fix for that soon.

The location was pretty convenient. Only a short walk to the shopping street, restaurants, and station. A bit hard to find at first but not hard to remember the route after a day.

The only thing I didn't like was that you had to separate your trash yourself. But it really isn't a big deal, just follow the guide they give you and it's all good.

Room was super clean , bathroom also . Bed was really comfortable, had AC , came with a small fridge, microwave, induction heater in case you want to cook your own food, a sink to wash hand/face ( not the one in the bathroom ) wifi work great. Nice price if you book early . Had a washing/ drying machine for your clothes on the first floor ( for a small fee )

Lost count how many times I've stayed here, will definitely come back. They have improved the Wi-Fi! I'm really happy that they listened to the past reviews about their bad Wi-Fi connection before, and now the Wi-Fi is strong and fast. During my stay, I had to extend for another night because my flight changed and the staff assisted regarding the extension.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. The laundry machines in the building are open 24/7 and were very convenient. Additionally, there is a laundromat for bigger loads across the street when needed. As someone who mainly used the hotel for a shower and sleep and then spent the entire day in the city, it was perfect. In general a lovely stay, great location and amenities for the value and I would be glad to return. The staff also accommodated me by helping to ship things home on my checkout date.

Firstly the hotel staff are very helpful. I had parcels delivered and they even kept my cash to pay for the packages. Although the decor is a little dingy the room was very clean I was surprised as it's on the cheaper side for Tokyo. It was a short walk from the metro. I would definitely recommend. The room is like the pictures and the smell of smoke mentioned in previous reviews was only in the hallway not in the room so I had no problem. The room and bathroom is small you should know that before booking.
