Very good location, only 4-5 mins walk from JR Ueno station and 8-10 mins from Keisei Ueno station. The area around hotel has several 24 hr. resaurants and convenience stores. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room equipped with all necessary facilities.

Very tiny room with very little space compares with other hotels around the same price. Can hardly place a single 27-inch luggage in the room. The hotel provide full cleaning (bedmaking, changing mattress and vacuuming) only once a week, only collect garbages and change towels by request. Room does not have bathtub, only shower booth and its door does not completely sealed; therefore, some water leak.

The location ..., helpful/ friendly staff, umbrellas to borrow, scales to weigh luggage... vending machine, air con instructions... I like the idea of the small restaurant area being a residents lounge / office / study space, with desks, power points etc... maybe some, one person "cubicles"... tea / coffee ... an important point in this sort of space would be allowing for larger body sizes...

Would like coffee to be available with green tea. The TV coming on automatically.

Absolutely worth the money. 5 mins walk from Ueno station and near several convenient stores/cheap food places. Bed is very comfortable. Shower stall is tiny but heats up quick. Cleaning service provides free new pajama daily if you ask. Staffs speak English well. They also let you drop off your luggage at the hotel before check-in with no additional charges. Electrical outlets near bed so it’s easy to charge your phone. Will definitely come back if I stay in Tokyo again.

Room is very very small; so don’t bring large luggage bc you won’t be able to open it fully. Shower stall is so small that I think if you’re 180cm+/6 feet+ you’re not gonna fit. Doesn’t have a microwave. Very small table, you probably won’t be able to work from here.

Walking distance between Ueno station and Inaricho-station. Staff was very friendly, helpful easy to talk to. Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. Will definitely stay again.

Room is a little on the smaller side, with the wash basin outside the bathroom. The is not much space to spread open your luggage fully in the room. There is no laundry mat or washing machine for guests use. You have to walk about 6-8 mins to a public coin Laundromat that doesn’t even have seats for you to wait at.

I'd seen some reviews say it was too small for a family and I disagree. I booked a room with an outdoor area and bath. It was great for my family of four. We had a huge shower, a huge outdoor bath, lots of privacy, and two beds as expected. This room was wonderful and the hotel itself was great. Clean and in a perfect location. Easy to get to Ueno station, Uneo Park, the zoo, kaoroke bars, food, everything. I would recommend this hotel.

The location was great: near Ueno Park, the largest park in Tokyo that has 3 art galleries and one museum, a pond, temples and a zoo. Plus, the subway station was about 5 blocks away and the staff was pleasant and helpful, and there were restaurants and variety stores nearby.

The staff and location were excellent! Staff was both polite and professional but still warm and friendly. Though it was in the middle of 2 nearby Metro stations (Hibiya and Ginza), the area around the hotel was quiet and away from (but still within walking distance of) busy tourist spots. Though the room was on the smaller side, the layout efficiently used the space, the bed was comfortable, the amenities complete, the room clean, and the toilet is even Japanese-style complete with modern features.

I paid a great price for a hotel in such a good location. Very easy walking distance to Ueno Station and there was a subway stop very close by. My room had a pleasant view of the area, and I loved the big shower booth! What a great change from the tiny facilities I'm used to dealing with when I travel.

That had to have been the lumpiest bed I've ever slept in, and I've been in the Army. Seriously, I've had rundown barracks bunks that were better than this. Had I been staying longer I'd have considered requesting a room change.

The room is spacious in comparison to other hotels in Tokyo and they provide plenty of amenities both inside the room and by the front desk. The room was clean upon arrival and I had no concerns about my stay. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Just a small issue with the overhead shower leaking, other than that I didn’t really have any other issues.

Location is pretty good - a 5 minute walk from Ueno station and a stone throw away from the bus stop that brings you to Asakusa. It was clean enough, and the shower and toilet are separated which is nice.

It's tiny. Even by Tokyo standards. If you're travelling with a partner, it may get difficult to move around. As it is next to a main road, you'll hear occasional sirens (though general traffic noise is inaudible). Light sleepers take note.
