It is very close to the jr ueno station.

It was a bit hard to find the hotel initially when we got out of the train station but once we found the hotel we found it very easy to access by using the overpass from the station. however, be aware of the operation hour of the lift and elevator for the overpass. We had to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs when we left early in the morning.

We loved the location! Just 2 minutes walk to JR Ueno, to Ueno metro station, and the Keisei Ueno Skyliner! Has lots of shops, restaurants and a Lawson nearby. The bunk bed room has space for carry on luggages to be opened. The beddings and pillow are comfy. The hotel might be outdated but it has everything we need. Also love the laundry washer and dryer, works well. Will definitely book again.

Elevator is a bit small.

Location & staff … especially staff member Masami who went above and beyond at every turn to make our stay comfortable, including great suggestions on area locations for things to do and references for local eating … she was great …

rooms were small, but frankly that is par for the course in the area we stayed so it’s really not a complaint, just had to get used to it …

Excellent location, right next to the Ueno Station. There is a Lawson and 7-Eleven super close. Restaurants nearby. Staff is friendly. Very clean inside. No weird odors or anything. Great price.

A little dated but for the price I can't really complain.

More than expected. Once found, the location is excellent, 5 minute walk to transit. Also Skyline airport express train, part of Ueno hub Small room, but very clean, helpful English speaking staff and quiet. You don't hear lateral noise, or between floors, a good night sleep. Also close to a lot of good food choices

Nothing really. I had difficulty at first locating the place as I had no SIM and thought Ueno Station would have wifi, but it didn't. So 3 young Japanese led me there. But the following day, I resized how central the location is.

Location was perfect for my purpose of visiting Ueno Zoo. Room was good size for 1 person, would be tight for 2. The staff was very friendly. I had a nice surprise of being able to check in early, which made it easy to drop my luggage in the room and head to the next activity

Main complaint is that there was an odd odor. Couldn’t tell if it was smoke or something else. Luckily the provided deodorizing spray, so that helped tame it in the room. Older building, but not detrimentally so

- Near Ueno station, but remember to follow the Hotel’s instructions so not to get lost. - The staff speaks English and with welcoming attitude. - The room is not the most new but clean. Small but it’s in Tokyo so acceptable. Quiet, hear no sound from outside but be prepared for noisy travelers next to your room….

- Noisy travelers especially families…….. - Near Ueno station but could be tricky if you think you can guided by Google map. Just follow the Hotel’s instructions.

Location is great, with an entrance to subway very nearby, room is small but to be expected. Room is clean as well. one supermarket and konbini at doorstep.

The soundproofing is not that good. You can hear conversations along doorway or in the next room.

Nice location to the local transportation and JR if you have JR pass , or a bit of walk to JR station. Super clean. We really enjoyed the Izakaya near by, 2 minutes walk maybe only. Good price. Good food.

A very small room on the pricy side. No bottles of water (buy outside of you need them way more expensive if from hotel vending machine) and no laundry bag. Laundry facility available but together in the smoking room.

The people is very kind and the service is amazing. The room is comfortable, clean and even though is small (like most of the Japanese hotels) is very well distributed so you don't feel uncomfortable. The hotel is very close to the station (yamanote line) so is very easy to move from there. Also we recommend to stay in Ueno because is has a lot to eat and is a attraction per se.
