As a solo traveler it was excellent to have access to the kitchenette. I was able to cook small meals for myself instead of eating out all the time. The value for cost was excellent! The nearest station was a short walk down a pretty street to connect to the Yamanote line.

Other guests were quite loud at various hours of the night, but that is not the fault of the facility. I found the pillows mildly uncomfortable, but that is personal preference.

Location is very near to train station, just few minutes walk. It is a plus factor that they provide high quality toiletries which include facial wash, toner and cream

A great location near Otsuka station and very close to the heart of Ikebukuro. The staff are wonderful and very eager to help. There are a lot of conbini stores near the hotel, as well as restaurants. The room is spacy enough for 1 person. You get toiletris such a cleansing oil, wash cloth, razors etc. Will come back for sure!

Tho it is stated very clrealy when you make a reservation, it's still a bammer that there is no cleaning service included (you can get one for a 2500 yen per cleaning).

my family occupied 1 regular room and 1 with kitchenette. worked for us because I've been wanting to try the fresh meat and fish from the nearby supermarket. exhaust fans were ok, no more food smells after a while. location was good, close to 3 convinis, train and tram station, and Sunshine City. our rooms were small and clean, typical of hotels in Japan.

- we arrived past midnight and we had to carry our luggage to the front desk (2nd floor) using the stairs. since they charged us before our arrival, I wish they could have just given us the code for the ground floor door so we could've used the elevator there. - it felt that our bed was not level -- side of the bed near the wall higher. suggestion: rotate the bed so the other side (the one near the wall) gets used often also.

clean. a) able to open the window at least 2ft (over a safety deck), b) deep short tub, c) nice staff, d) laundry facilities available, e)lots of plugs, f) on the tram line which was fun, but meant I mostly chose to walk to Otsuka metro stn about 15min You need to ask for things like a saucepan etc (if you rented a kitchenette), but very fast to get them. Can borrow iron. i did not like a) able to hear banging from other hotel guests (if they not paying attention to noise). I had to wear noise cancelling headphones most nights to fall asleep. b) The deep tub meant a BIG step-up into the tiny bathroom, so could be a hazard for some, BIG STEP DOWN. c) bed as hard as rock. luckily they provide memory foam bolsters, so i could sit on that. A good area, a good stay, I might stay again.

This was my second time staying in this hotel and everything was good as always. The room was clean, and most of the times it was quiet and peaceful during the night time. I love the view from higher floors. Nice walkable distance from the station. There was a notice of construction nearby, but I didn't hear it unless I opened the window so it didn't bother me. Staff was very friendly. Will stay again with you when I have a chance to.

Walls are a bit thin and there are occasionally some ambulances driving nearby, so if you're a light sleeper bring a pair of earplugs. A toilet brush would be a good addition to the toilet.

it is a quiet neighborhood. there are convenience stores that are near. you can use Airporter services (luggage delivery) in the comfort of the hotel. very efficient. All information are handed over to you during your checkin. The necessities are available for you to pickup when needed. Quite spacious for the usual size of rooms in Tokyo

It was quite a bit walk towards the nearest station. 9 mins from Otsuka (JR Line), 13 mins from Shin Otsuka (Maronouchi Line) and almost 20 mins from Ikebukuro station. It is not an issue since you have the Sakura Tram 2 mins walk away from the hotel but it you want to utilize your Tokyo Subway pass, it’s quite a bit of a walk to Shin Otsuka station.

The location was really great because there were 3 train stations you could choose from to walk to. It was so great being close to Ikebukuro. It was nice to have a microwave in the room, that was a pleasant surprise. It you needed toiletries, there were some drawers at reception where you could get what you needed. It was also great to have access to washing and drying machines.

Having to throw out your own trash outside of the hotel. Since we didn't want to deal with this, we just kept the trash in our room. It would be nice if on every floor there was a big trash can where you could just throw your garbage away instead of trying to find the location where to throw out the trash outside of the hotel.

My third time in the hotel. For me it's a a great location! I love the area and how close it is to Otsuka station but still in Ikebukuro. There are many conbini near the hotel and Matsuya. The room is pretty spacious for 1 person and the staff are very nice. You get free toiletries and you have coin laundry/dryier

The bed was a little hard :( And even tho I already knew this head of time, it's still bums that there is no cleaning service inculded and you have to pay seperatly for cleaning.

Location was really nice, only downside is if you missed the connecting tram from the main station nearby, you have to walk for a bit (8 to 10 mins). Room layout was efficient too, we had 2 big suitcases and 2 carry-on and we still had plenty of room and I could even store your carry-on under the bed. Best to describe my experience is value for money.

The bed and the pillows weren't on the comfortable side and it was a bit small. I also felt that the room felt stuffy, so we opened the window quite often to freshen up the air inside.
