Very clean, nice, easy to find and reach, convenient, well-maintained. The rooms are just like the pictures. Great area and neighbourhood. The convenience store on the ground floor has everything you need and the prices are fair. There’s a 7 Eleven and food mall across the street. There’s a tiny bathtub which is so nice after the crazily walking around in Tokyo.

No options to take the stairs. Very common in Asia but still quite annoying. The mattress was bigger than the bed frame and kept sliding off and bending down on the right. Staff only speaks Japanese and a little bit of English but they mostly rely on a gadget to translate. I had paid through booking and it clearly stated that I had paid for all taxes but they wanted me to pay for more taxes, so they kept using the gadget to tell me I had only paid renting loan expenses which makes no sense. I quickly gave up and paid. It was only a few bucks anyways.

hotel location is great, within walking distance to several different stations on various subway lines, so overall connectivity is great. there is also a family mart at the first floor of the hotel so it's very convenient to get any snacks/food at night. the hotel was overall very quiet, clean and well maintained, as i believe we visited just after their renovation period. staff were very polite and helpful too.

we booked a semi double and the bed was a little small for 2, would recommend for 2pax to book a double room at least. the room size was also a bit small, we had space to open our cabin size luggages, but for larger suitcases it may not be possible.

The location is fantastic with a major rapid line and a 5-10 min walk over to the prime bustle of the Akihabara area. Ochanomizu itself is a haven for music lovers, known for its "guitar street" and vinyl shops. The area is quiet with lots of little cafes. The room is very comfortable and squeaky clean, bedding and pillows are brand new. The toilet has a little more space than chains like APA which is much appreciated. The staff were delightful, helpful, and friendly. Do note that late checkouts come at a fee.

There are some elements in this new hotel that make it feel like it might age very quickly, such as a small gap between the bathtub and the wall next to it, which will gradually lead to water accumulation. For now, it's brilliant and very clean!

The hotel provides amenities at the 1st floor, you can take them but the new toothbrushes will be in the room when room cleanliness is done in the morning. The room is quite bigger than the hotel where is near JR line. All Facilities are functional. The breakfast is good taste. It's valuable for me. The location is so good although it's near the local train line but it's easy to go anywhere and convenient to connect to the main line. There is the Family mart at the 1st floor and around the hotel area has the cosmetic & drug store, 7-11 and many restaurants and you can get Akihabara, just walk for 5-10 minutes.

Wanna have different menu for breakfast

At first, I thought the hotel might be in the middle of nowhere. But actually, it's very conveniently located near Awajicho/Ogawamachi station, Ochanomizu station, and Akihabara station. You can walk to Akihabara area, Kanda book street, Ochanomizu musical instrument street, snowboard street in about 10-15 min, and even to Ueno area in about 20 min. Only 1 stop to Ginza, 2 stops to Tokyo station by subway. It's just there is no covered walkway to the stations if it rains. There is a convenience store FamilyMart and an Italian restaurant NORA (I tried and it was good) directly connected to the hotel. There is also a supermarket in WATERRAS complex across the street. There are many eateries on the way to and near Ochanomizu station. The room is a standard Japanese business hotel room, but Mystays group of hotels provide skincare packets (make-up remover, facewash, toner and moisturizer) from DHC, which comes in handy. The room is also equipped with iPhone and Android charger.

Nothing! It was perfect

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great bathtub. Nice seating area in the lobby. Very professional staff. Great location near at least 3 train stations. The value for money was exceptional, probably because this is more of a business oriented hotel, but the location, comfort, and cleanliness are all exceptional for the price point. We visited family staying at another hotel and found that we got similar quality at 1/3 of the price.

The laundry facilities are disappointing. There are 4 machines which stay pretty busy, so you have to wait your turn. Washing the clothes worked great, but we dried our clothes for nearly 3 hours and they were still so damp we had to take everything back to the room wet and hang it to dry. Between waiting, washing, drying machine, and hanging to dry, it took almost 5 hours and we were up past 1 am. I wish we had just walked 10 minutes to the coin operated laundry nearby. Other things to note: There is no change machine (but the front desk will exchange bills to 100 Yen coins if you ask). The detergent machine was out of stock (but the Family Mart in the lobby did sell small packs of detergent).

Amazing location. Short walk to main streets if Akihabara. A number of stations close by ... 5-10 min walks depending where you're heading. Family Mart with access straight from foyer, 7eleven and full supermarket across the street. About 8 restaurant options across the street with nice open park. Had amazing ramen at a tiny restaurant a couple minutes walk away. Restaurant at hotel is also delicious and quite reasonably priced. Room was lovely and roomy. Bathroom normal Tokyo size... but no seat warmer ;). Fridge is VERY small and you have a kettle with no cutlery, only cups and 2 teabags &2 matcha sachets. There is a microwave in the laundry room (lvl 5) which also contains a vending machine, washing machines & dryers x 3 (coin machines reasonably priced). Staff very friendly and helpful, with enough English to communicate. Can opt out of daily room clean with an "eco clean" - they will leave clean towels in a bag on the door and a bonus bottle of spring water. Extra items in the lobby if you need them... including face cleanser, toner and moisturiser which was a nice touch.

TV was not a smart TV so we couldn't use it. If we wanted to watch a movie we could have purchased access for one day for around $10AUD... it should probably just be included in this day and age. Fridge is tiny. No cutlery or sugar/milk for hot drinks. Microwave in room would also have been great.

Please note that we visited in April. Good weather at that time. Walking distance to four stations nearby depending on where your go. Restaurants and stores in the big building across the street. There happened to be a free jazz festival open concert in the courtyard of the building on Saturday, our last day in Tokyo. The hotel offered some sample size DHC skin care and other items such as hand towel and toothpicks by the lift. Polite front desk staff.
