breakfast was good. The hotel was close to most things in akihabara which made it easy to find things, go out for dinner etc. Staff were super friendly and checking/check out was an absolute breeze.

We were not expecting there to be a full size window in the bathroom. Im not really a huge fan of making eye contact with my friends when they're trying to take a poo in the bathroom, or having a shower. Also the curtain that was there was stylised to have holes in it, so even if it was for privacy, you could still see through it into the bathroom, so we had to make a concerted effort not to look at the left hand side of the room when we were in our beds and one of us needed the bathroom

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Akihabara station, which offers access to many subway and JR lines (such as the Yamanote line) making it an ideal starting point for exploring Tokyo. The area offers many great food options and even works well as a starting point for exploring Tokyo on foot. Check-in as well as check-out was efficient and easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was located on the top floor, with a nice view of the city. The room itself was conveniently furnished, with a small closet to store the luggage in, a nice desk and a massage chair. Despite being located right next to a train station, our room was fairly quiet (see the notes below), with sufficient isolation between rooms, so we never noticed any other guests.

Neither of these things are big downsides, but: * The rooms, while fairly practical and comfortable, are definitely on the smaller side, making it slightly difficult to fully open larger pieces of luggage. * During the warmer months, Akihabara is an area plagued by extremely loud motorcycles, which could still be heard on the 18th floor. The noise of the train station is noticeable, but way less prominent and didn't bother us at all, but if you're very sensitive this might be an issue. * One thing to keep in mind is that Akihabara gets extremely busy/crowded on the weekends, which may or may not be your cup of tea.

April 2023

The hotel is literally on top of the Akihabara Station, a great benefit when moving around in Tokyo with trains or subways. The breakfast, although limited in its options, was exceptionally prepared every day, and there are many shops around, including convenience stores. The room was very clean, with a very nice view of the streets below, while there were many amenities to be found at the front desk. The check-in /check-out process was automated, with English descriptions which is very helpful when you are not fluent in (or even if you don't understand even a bit of) Japanese.

The room size is a bit smaller than I expected, although I believe this is generally true for rooms in Japan. As breakfast is served in the cafe on the 2nd floor of the Akiba Tolim building (where remm Akihabara is located), and the hotel area begins from the 6th floor upwards, it may be a bit confusing at first to reach the cafe for your breakfast the first time, especially if you're not used in multiple elevators leading to different floors.

Location is the most convenient. For the price they charge, it's an amazing value. Concierge staff is also multilingual, so they are very helpful.

Rooms are starting to get a little run down. Hopefully renovations happen soon.

It’s very close to the JR station, extremely convenient location, they gave you a free bottle of water if you asked for eco cleaning, also have a massage chair in the room.

It is very pricy for a small room and a small bed for 2 people to stay. While I appreciate the free bottle of water service provided, but I wish they would have a water dispenser option as well simply because I have my own water bottle and I drink more than 1 bottle per day. Although the massage chair in the room was very fancy, it occupied an awful lot of the spaces in the room. Also there are not a lot of places to hang towels for 2 and absolutely no places to hang any exchanged clothes in the bathroom! Last but not least, not a fan of the glass between bathroom and bedroom. I felt like I walked into a love hotel which is very awkward since me and my friend were staying together in the same room.

This hotel is right next to Akihabara station, which makes it a great base to explore Tokyo (hub for multiple train and subway lines, also the Shinkansen stations are just a few stops away). The hotel staff (Lobby and cleaning crew) were very friendly and helpful. The room was on the 15th floor so I had a great view. My personal highlight was the bathroom with a shower head on the ceiling. If you arrive with check-in luggage be prepared to open and close the suitcase on the bed. There is an extra cover at the foot end so the blanket won't get dirty. I can really recommend this hotel and I would definitely book a room again for the next Japan trip.

You can't beat the location with its access to the train station and proximity to Electric Town, and the area was way more accessible than I expected (for a walker, a wheelchair might have more difficulty than I had). I enjoyed the shower, especially the strong option on the handheld shower head. All the facilities were high quality as I expected, access to laundry was useful (I had plenty of coins but perhaps a change machine could be useful). The (paid) service where I could have my bags sent to the airport ahead of me was so helpful. The English translation on many things was appreciated.

The massage chair was painful for me to use (also possibly a translation for the buttons could be useful). There was no space to put my suitcases so it was very difficult to maneouver around the room. The backless chair in the room was uncomfortable and inconvenient to use. These things are mostly minor and I would easily recommend it to others.

The room was very modern, very clean, no mildew smell in the bathroom (can't say that for most everywhere else I stayed). The location was fantastic - right next to Akihabara station and in the heart of Akihabara. Great view (if located above the 11th floor apparently)

The room was a little small but that's par for the course in Japan. The actual entrance is near impossible to find. A lot of people kept using the side elevator entrance supposedly for guests with room cards but it's understandable since the other entrance is inside a building a little bit unmarked and randomly on the 6th floor.

The location and price was the main attraction for selecting this as our base in Tokyo. The customer service was excellent. The amenities provided was great and the extras such as toothbrush, combs etc. you can get from the lobby was an added bonus. There was a very affordable laundry service (500yen for wash and dry) provided by the hotel. Plenty of shops such as 7-11, Family Mart, and Lawsons within a minute away. The double room did come with a massage chair which was an added bonus especially for them long walking days.

The small size of the double and twin room but not much can be done about them. A warning for people travelling with large suitcases especially for families, couples, or group of friends will have to play Tetris with their suitcases as there isn't much space for them to lay multiple on the ground but there is a small space to store one suitcase away.
