The location is just perfect, the akiba is right across the street. Public facilities in the hotel are quite nice. The most impressive thing is that the hotel has an open-air bath that you can enjoy anytime(even 2 am) in the heart of Tokyo.

The room is a bit small. There was not much space left after two 28' suitcases opened. If you don't have time to enjoy the public facilities, the price will not have any cost-effective.

Loved all the little freebies that Dormy had to offer including: Nightly ramen, ice cream, Bath/Sauna, and the Yakults. Staff were all polite and helpful. We had luggage as well as an order of products shipped here and they were able to accommodate. We asked for a taxi and although it wasn't available, the staff member tried her best. We did have multiple luggage however so they likely ran out of SUV sized vehicles. We ended up taking UBER to the airport. We opted to skip breakfast as 7-11 was downstairs and we just wanted a quick bite. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend it to all guests. The internet was always stable.

The only negative would be the lack of a Heated Toilet. The beds were comfortable, but a bit too soft in our opinion. The Women's baths were always empty but the men's were frequently full, but that's no fault of Dormy's.

The location is convienent between 2 metro station (Kanda and Akihabara). Kanda entrance is just 1 min walk from the accommodation. Akihabara will be 5 to 8 mins walk, with luggage, it can be abit challenging but all the electronic/ anime stuff are just there. The room is spacious for 2 ladies whose objective is shopping!! Is very functional room. Toilet and shower is separated. 2 Super singles (Double bed?). Very clean room and toilet. We do our laundry on daily basis, very convienent where detergent is auto loaded, thus you do not need to bring your own detergent. Dryer will need to pay ¥100 for 20mins, which we didn't, we just let it air dry in our room. We didn't get a chance to use public bath, but we see some people went up on daily basis! Also there is free ice creams and ramen daily. We totally look forward to the daily breakfast. As asians, we love asian warm food for breakfast. We really love this place and would visit Dormy Inn accommodation again!

Maybe 1 more bin in the toilet. 😄

Excellent location to explore Tokyo, right in the mid of the buzz but quiet at night. We enjoyed the onsen and free ramen in the evening. Breakfast was better than expected! Overall a great hotel, amazing value for money.

Some online reviews mentioned free beer, which didn't exist anymore haha ;) But that was only a minor inconvenience.

The location was excellent and the room was spacious. It's easier to get to Akihabara station than JR Kanda and there are lots of restaurants within a reasonable walk. They had a tv in the sauna! I'm fond of the Dormy Inn chain and was mildly disappointed that I didn't manage to make it to breakfast on the nights I stayed there.

The area between JR Kanda and dormy inn is mostly bars, but the walk is mostly on a main street. You can bypass some of this by heading towards the subway station and taking one of the exits- which will also save you a crosswalk or by coming from Akihabara.

6-7 minutes walk from JR station and next to the Ginza Kanda exit, the hotel provides public bath, free laundry machines, ramen and ice cream. Rooms were functional and meet all our needs. Breakfast is good too.

Hotel fails to reply to messages put to them repeatedly about the charge for the room booking. Hotel misunderstood the total number of guests for the booking but didn't reply to messages. Neither does Booking.com support services help. Hotel is located in a major road junction. Rooms on the lower floors could be noisy even with windows closed

Location was great as it was a short walking distance from train station. Love the free ramen (930-11pm), great timing as we went out late and came back and enjoyed. Onsen was amazing too with many options such as indoor, outdoor, good bath and sauna. Children enjoyed the free ice cream. Coffee and hot chocolate was free anytime aswell. Washing machine was free to used - 30 mins per load. Drying cost approx 100 yen for 15 mins cycle. Would stay again

There was nothing except the rooms could be slightly bigger. But all rooms in Japan are small.

Great place to stay near Akihabara. The location is really good, less than 10min walks from Akihabara station. Staff was friendly and approachable. They even took our luggage that we have deposited in the morning up to our room, which was a really nice gesture. Room was extremely spacious and clean. Also the free service provided such as free soba at night and ice cream after the bath was a nice bonus. Although the prices might be slightly more expensive than the general business hotel. But I am definitely willing to pay for the spacious room and excellent customer service.

The location is very convenient to JR Akihabara & Tokyo Metro Ginza line. A 7-11 is located on the 1st floor of the building. Room size is larger compared to other business hotels in the area. A public bath and other freebies like ramen and ice cream are nice. Laundry washing is free but drying is 100 yen per 20 mins.

At times, the room cleaning was very minimal and part of the room was dirty. The remote control had dirt and residue. The seat and tables had prints as if it wasn’t cleaned. I took it upon myself to clean it.

The location is very convenient, sitting right at the center of 3 main metro stations, with lots of restaurants around. There is a 7-11 right beside the hotel. Breakfast is OK, room is not spacious but bearable if you are couple with not so big luggage. Hot Spring and Sunna are fantastic!! Over I was having a good time stay in this hotel and hanging around in Tokyo downtown.

no tub in room, for which I thought most of the hotel in Japan should have, but they provide fantastic Sunna!!!
