The location was fantastic. On a quiet street yet everything is just around the corners. The staff were very warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome. They were so helpful. The room was gorgeous and the shower was excellent We used the washerdryer that was available. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast that had array of western and Japanese fair. They held our bags for us after we checked out. This hotel is lovely and I would recommend it. For our first visit to Tokyo, we had a lovely experience staying here.

Located within short walking distance to the Ikebukuro station, easy to find the hotel, friendly and accommodating staff who were always looking to help. Very clean facility, quiet, and plenty of amenities and options for helping travelers.

Check out time was listed as 10 AM on booking, but at 9:30 AM as I was getting ready to leave to check out, room service tried to enter my room several times and when I answered my door, they were surprised to see I was still there.

Honestly, a 10 out of 10. Everything was perfect! The location, staff, cleanliness, facilities, and comfort level were exceptional. There is a convenience store right beside the hotel entrance, and Ikebukuro Station and shopping malls are all within a 5 to 10-minute walk. Staff were very kind and friendly. The hotel room and toilet were spacious and clean, and the bed was not too soft or hard. They also use the ReFa showerhead for the shower. Free hotel buffet breakfast is included and there is a variety of food choices to choose from: croissants, pies, rice, pasta salad, soups, hot and cold drinks, and more. Guests can also wash their clothes in the laundry room. They provide the number of room keycards according to the number of guests so that everyone would have one.

No complaints at all, except that the window view of one of the rooms I booked was directly facing the cemetery. Some guests may not like it.

We don’t smoke but booked a room that allows smoking. The smell was insane. Even the air coming out of the air filter was smoky. We can smell smoke from our clothes even a few days after (we had our luggages closed for most of the time). If you don’t smoke, book a non-smoking room. The staff ended up switching us to a non-smoking room which was great. Really appreciate their service!

Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Bed was nice and firm which was perfect for my poor aching back. Aircon temperature was fully adjustable. Bed and bathroom were both spotless. Lawson and 2 coffee shops are just downstairs and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby including 24 hr Donki.

Location is a bit of a trek from the station but is straightforward to get to.

Small room, but this is expected for Japanese hotels in a big city like Tokyo. Everything is very well thought such that all equipment needed is here for a good standard. Room are very clean and safe. If you stay more than one night , the maid clean the room every three days, but you can ask for new towels everyday if you wish. The breakfast is excellent. Japanese style mostly. The location near the ikebukuro station is convenient. Behind the hotel', there is a nice park where you can walk or run. The higashi-ikebukuro station is also close. Here, nearby, you can take the Sakura tramway. The only tram in Tokyo. It goes from Waseda university to akabara. Taking this tram and stopping at several stations to walk in the nearby streets is a nice way to discover another face of Tokyo

The location was great and the room was nice. There are laundry and vending machines on one of the other floors, but we did not use them.

The room is quite small and it was tight when trying to open our checked bag. This was expected, so make sure you understand how small the room is.

Friendly staff, convenient location, wonderful breakfast

Only small issue was that the wifi dropped out a couple of times while I was in the middle of a phone call. It’s only a minor inconvenience but the hotel reception is on the 3rd floor so you need to change lifts every time you go in and out of the hotel. Otherwise everything was great!

Close to the train station, typical Japanese business hotel, clean and equipped with everything you’d need for business - desk, WiFi, fridge

It smelled like body odor from the previous guest. They really should air the rooms out of this happens. I needed to open the window and it was chilly

Laundry machine wouldn't accept change and there was not money changer. I had to go to the reception and ask for coin change. Rooms locks are operated by key card, I once left my key card inside the room and I had to request another key card, which they made free of charge
