I have searched for a hotel with a swimming pool in Tokyo, within my budget (below 200 eur/n), it was not an easy task. I have selected La Vista, as they have also proposed typical japanese hot baths, onsen. It was exceptionnal to try this authentic experience. The comfort of the room and the view over the river was also very pleasant. The check in and check-out were quick and fluid (due to online check-in via forms).

I was surprised that the swimming pool and small gym were not included in the price of the room. I haven't tested other (paid) services : breakfast, swimming pool (2200 yen: person), gym (250 yen/15 mins), spa, shuttfle to airport (Haneda, 3 times per day 10:00, 13:55, 16:25, 1000 yen). The location is not central, but I enjoyed the calm. The aerial metro line next to hotel is disconnected from other lines and more expensive, but you can take a bus 05-2 to get to Ginza in 30 minutes.

The breakfast buffet was excellent - fresh sashimi to make your own kaisendon seafood bowl along with other Japanese, Asian, and Western food options. I always filled up in the mornings and could easily go the entire day without eating much else. I also appreciated the free services such as laundry (in the onsen changing room area), ice cream bars, and late night "yonakisoba" ramen.

I have large tattoos so I couldn't use the onsen. I was secretly hoping that maybe the onsen would clear out late night, but it always seemed to be busy. Instead, I used a free footbath at the neighboring Senkyaku Banrankai onsen building.

Great views from room and onsen. Free noodles at night. Free snacks. Free ice cream after onsen. Good location. Wheelchair provided. Helpful staff. 7-eleven and pharmacy within walking distance. Free washing machine (pay for dryer).

Had to pay for parking (though we were given free entry/exit until the day of check out)

This is a great hotel, very nice location just very close to subway. Note that check in is at 3pm & they do mean 3pm, no earlier. Room was very nice with everything you can want, breakfast was wonderful with so many things to pick from, typical Japanese breakfast. Spa was wonderful.

We went to this location after canceling another booking which had really dirty rooms. The hotel is close to public transit and has very beautiful views. Right from the lobby, you can tell it is upper tier facility. Really enjoyed the free late night ramen.

Such a beautiful hotel with so many comforts! We loved the thoughtful touches like the little candies for kids and popsicles after soaking. Staff was so kind and welcoming. The breakfast was out of this world! Heaps of sashimi, fresh pancakes, warm dishes, endless coffee. Heaven. The location was perfect for access to the Toyosu fish market. Amazing views from every window. I had a great morning jog across the bay bridges. The spa on the 14th floor is so peaceful and you can soak and look out over the beautiful Tokyo skyline.

Our check in took a little bit longer because the auto machine didn’t work for us.

It was really great experience in La Vista Tokyo Bay! Location - good, just near station, easy to get from HND airport (subway, with 1 transfer). Great views, a lot of places to walk, a bit far from center (30-40 min walk \ 15 min by subway). TeamLab Planetes in 5 min walk. Really quiet at night. Room - good enough for Tokyo hotel. May be not so much space to store luggage, but most of other points are in place. TV, kettle, refrigerator, 2 keys (1 for each person). Washing \ drying machines (onsen area) - enough for guests, wash - free, dry is not free ~100 yen, as I remember. Checkin is via auto-machine, clear process, available in EN. Breakfast - wide range of traditional (including sashimi, rice, noodles, grilled fish) and continental breakfast. Really nice taste and quality. Evening noodles also nice! Onsen is surprisingly good! 14 Floor with open air baths! Nice conditions, clean, really great at night city. It is free + sauna. Swimming pool - it is not free, but can't add comments, as I haven't tried it. Personal is speaking EN, almost no issues found during the stay (5 nights), nice and friendly

A bit pricy

The breakfast was absolutely incredible—there was an impressive variety of options, including fresh sushi, which was a delightful surprise. The attention to detail in the food offerings made every morning special. The rooms were spotless and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the onsen on the 14th floor. It was so peaceful and rejuvenating, offering a serene escape with beautiful views. Above all, the service and hospitality were top-notch. Every staff member went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout my visit.

While my stay was overall fantastic, there were a few aspects that detracted from the experience, though they were outside the hotel's control. The large number of tourists who didn't respect the rules was frustrating at times. For example, some guests were talking loudly in the onsen, which disrupted the otherwise serene and relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, I noticed some coughing at the buffet without wearing masks, which felt inconsiderate in a shared dining space. That said, I understand these are behaviors the hotel cannot necessarily enforce, and they didn't overshadow the incredible service and amenities provided. It’s more a reminder that respectful behavior makes the experience better for everyone.

Beautiful hotel in a location with very nice views. Station located quite close. Convenience and drug stores located very close by. Friendly and helpful staff (though they don’t speak the most English).

Hotel is very far away from most locations in Tokyo, you are looking at 45mins-1hr of travel to get to most of the places you might want to visit. Room was not the most spacious, bit of a squeeze to fit ourselves and our luggage in there. Area is very nice but still under-developed, not a lot nearby apart from the nice market across the bridge.
